Yoruba that are the most enlightened folks in Nigeria , are the ones yeye people, expect to commit political suicide because the sitting president, has fallen short of the general expectations?.
They just don't get it. we didn't benefit anything from 16 years of PDP, we have benefitted from APC, and we still stand to gain more, why should we score an own goal by voting against our benefactors?.
Ekiti state vote is going to be the most brutal against PDP in SW. those guys are still laying curses on PDP, even up till now.
Majority of Yoruba voters don’t have time to argue on platform like nairaland , but on that Election Day my brothers from south/east will understand why no one should never under rate south/west votes ... same mistake PDP did in 2015 they are doing same thing again .... anyway as for me and my entire family are voting for APC @ every level ...

How can anyone think south-west will vote massively for PDP ? It’s not politically logical , a region controlled by APC ... all the states are APC states , and the VP is from South/West , with the massive federal projects in the region ... it will be foolish for anyone to think Yorubas will massively vote PDP ... even without federal might PDP as never get south-west support not to talk of now that APC controls the federal... anyway I am a Yoruba man and I know what is happening here ... we shall see that day but I know some people will Ignore these factors after seeing results from south/west and call it rigging ...

After a lot of investigation on nairaland , I tends to discover the difference between APC supporters and PDP supporters on nairaland ... the difference is just that PDP supporters are always ready anytime of the days to attend ack and defends their Political parties or their Political interests, while APC supports don’t have much time to defend, or attack and comment on political issues towards their interest, APC supporters only do more of their activities at Nigt and weekend here on Nairaland ... base on my conclusion I think a lot of PDP supporters on nairaland are Jobless and Hopeless people , even from their comment you could feel their frustration.... I don’t mean to hurt anyone it’s just something I observe on here over time...

The difference between APC crowd and PDP crowd is that APC crowd are people with geniue love for Buhari , you can hardly see them in uniform but PDP crowd are people with genius love for money , you can see the color arrangements, that is what they will use to pay them ... you color depends on your arrangeee agent .... PoliticsRe: The Cjn’s Removal: The Lamps Are Going Out All Over Nigeria- Opinion by sokera: 8:06am On Jan 27, 2019
oladele00:
Almost everyone on social media voiced former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun into resigning. Some even asked that the President remove her to prove that he's truly fighting corruption. When the brilliant woman saw that she truly erred by submitting a fake NYSC Exemption certificate, she did the honourable thing. She tendered her resignation letter and left. She RESIGNED!
By that time, those of you ethnic jingoists didn't see Kemi as a Southerner. You screamed at her, cyber bullied her and even hurled abuses at her. Now it is the turn of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, who admitted himself that he 'forgot' to declare his domiciliary accounts which was loaded with £23,409, €49,971 and $391,401, including 55 houses undeclared, and by so doing, he breached the Code of Conduct as a Public officer and was suppose to have resigned straightaway if he had any modicum of honour, integrity and shame as the custodian of the Nigerian Law, but he didn't. Instead, he was doing everything to stall his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal. All those times, you didn't call for his resignation the same way you did with Kemi, you didn't bully him to resign the way you bullied Kemi, you were instead urging him to stay on, you were drumming support for him and some of you that were deceiving yourselves with your forming neutrality didn't say anything all this while too, you deliberately turned dumb. When it was first revealed a fortnight ago that the Chief Justice of Nigeria didn't declare his domiciliary accounts with dollars starched in it, all you were vituperating was that the President wanted to remove him because he's a southerner. You acted dumb on the offence he committed. Now that the CJN has been suspended, those of you fake neutralists are now crying foul. You're screaming that democracy is in danger. Can y'all see how nonsensically hypocritical you are? Your hypocrisy is legendary. Your hypocrisy stinks. You shouted and bullied Kemi Adeosun into resignation but aiding Onnoghen who can't explain how he got the foreign currencies starched in his domiciliary accounts which he didn't declare plus 55 houses. A whooping 55 houses.
Instead of the CJN to resign honourably and go clear himself, he was busy running from pillar to post buying injunctions to stop the case against him. Just a couple of days ago, another $630,000 and $800,000 was discovered in his separate domiciliary accounts again. Y'all pretended you didn't see the news, abi? Sensing that he could be suspended by the NJC, the CJN quickly suspend their meeting indefinitely. Why? So that he can stay on. You can imagine!
You asked Kemi to resign but Onnoghen who was selling justice for dollars and deliberately didn't declare those dollars in his domiciliary accounts including 55 houses should stay on, and he should be left alone.
Arrant nonsense.

PDP ARE SUPPORTER OF CORRUPTION
you can see this ? I am tired of some people just being hypocrites about this issue , the bottom line is that CJN did something wrong and against the law of the nation ... in a true democracy CJN would have resigned.when CJN suspended the NJC they didn’t shout democracy then ooooo but when the CCT suspend the JCN they started shouting democracy... bunch of fools

Just a digress........ Who cursed the South to make Unity unattainable. No Northern decent will ever allow this level of ridicule on their own CJN. Not one. Do you think a Hausa/Fulani CJN will ever be disgraced in this fashion? Not in the future. Do you know Walter is the first southern CJN in 35years? So you think past CJNs never had one issue or the other. I feel for south. I weep for them.

you should stop playing region politics, what is bad is bad , we should be ashamed that our own son bleeped up big time , we should fight corruption together and we should leave sentiment out of this ... where did he get over 50 houses and over $300million in bank ? That should be our concern ...

stop making fool of yourself, if you know what true democracy is then you won’t go after youths supporting APC because from what you are trying to preach you should know what RIGHt means in democracy... choice of association... deal with that ... and you should know it’s not a democracy if the three arms of government are not checkmating each other ... I don't care about him removing the CJN but why been biased. It shows further that mr presido is sentimental and a bigot. Never knew he could be this active until this.
you are right and I think this is the kind of development that should make us happy , we want the corrupted ones to face the law... either by legality or witch-hunting should not matter to the common man but we should fight for a safe county not allowing sentiments, religion , ethnicity destroy us as a nation .... if truly we Nigerians want a true democracy system that works fine then we should ask questions how CJN got those money, properties and why he forgot to declare his assets correctly before questioning President Buhari why he suspended him ... but I doubt Nigerians should do that , we are divided along political parties, ethnicity, religion and geographical region ... we are in trouble in Nigeria we don’t know yet ....
PoliticsRe: Cjn’s Suspension: Olawepo-hashim Seeks International Sanctions Against Buhari by sokera: 4:36am On Jan 26, 2019
I doubt it if Nigerians are ready for a clean country , we allowed these elites to use us and we forget we are to fight for a safe country ... Buhari decisions is creating tension in the country just because a leader of a nation judiciary did something that’s against the law of the nation ... CJN messed up big time and Buhari hook up to the opportunity to deal with him ... we are in trouble in this country if majority is keeping mute on the wrong part of the CJN ... before you quote me negatively remember the CJN accepted his faults ....

I just want to use a scenario to explain to our gullible brothers and sisters on here to explain the difference between facts and figures .... let me explain to them by using a common thing we all agree on in Nigeria and Africa which is football age .... some African football players use false age that we all refer to as football age ... now football age is the figure , while the real player age is the fact ... figure could be compose to fit or benefit some kind of selfish interest while fact is the real thing and the actual situation on ground... if you still don’t understand by my explanation then you are one of those lazy youth Buhari was referring to .... God bless PMB

I dont agree with your comment. I just thinl the SP is being careful not to push an agenda at the detriment of the country. Buhari is a ethnic bomb waiting to be induced into an explosion. Its not that they couldnt impeach him or override his actions but some stupid mofos are just waiting for that as an excuse to go into full war... Especially someone that has curried all the security agencies into his fold. Thats the bigger worry as civil war may ensue after and the stupid president wont mind the blood shedding, He would even act like he is not aware of anything.. Thats why this man is to dangerous to be a president. There is nothing peaceful about him, the blatant truth.
no don’t be sentimental about the issues , As it’s now in the NA APC don’t have the number to sack Saraki as their SP same way PDP don’t have the numbers to impeach Buhari ... so don’t feel Saraki can do something but he is not willing to do it for the sake of peace ... you have no idea how Desperate Saraki is , Saraki can do anything to even kill Buhar not to talk of impeach ... the truth is that Saraki don’t have the numbers and Buhari too don’t have the numbers ... this is very dangerous for the growth of the country ... anyway let watch how it end ... they have till December 19th ...

Educate me? Really? You? Wow.

Agbara to Attan road belongs to Federal government - it is the supposed road that was to be linked to Sokoto via Attan.

Lusada to Igbesa is a state road.
Lusada to Alapoti/Ado-odo is also a state road.

All the above stated roads are in deplorable state; be it state of federal.

Now tell me, which of those roads has been fixed?

If the state government value the residents and intend to carryout palliative meainten on, say, the federal road, what would it cost to seek and obtain approval from the centre?

I probably need to be better EDUCATED by you.
This is because no education is eroding the fact that my taxes are not being put into good use.
all of these roads are over 40 years old ... why didn’t PDP reconstruct them ?

In this case, there's no need to differentiate the roads. Amosun has built 2 bridges on a federal road in Abk (Abk-Sag road), and he is planning to expand the road to 10 lanes to 'attract investors'.
you don’t know the difference between Federal roads and states roads ... Amosun did not build any bridge on federal roads

Does it really matter? Both state and Federal government collect taxes from this area - both are controlled by the same party.

Differentiating state from federal roads is the propaganda machinery used when the party at the centre is different from the party controlling the state - when I say party, I mean political party.
let me educate you , the different is that State governments can’t construct or repair federal roads ...

Ogun state
It was PDP that dualised abeokuta Sagamu interchange.
It was PDPD that did papa road

In oyo state
It was PDP that connected Osun to Oyo State for the benefit of Lauteck ogbomosho- ilajue- ifon - Osogbo road. Go and check the road now. Not maintained at all

In Osun
Sekona-edun abon-moro was not a terrible road to ply

In ekiti
Check the entrants into these towns
Ikole (Ado- ilu omoba- ikole road)
Ikere (ado to ikere) check the Ondo side
Iyin ekiti etc

Just a few to mention.
you should be even ashamed to come here to say this trash , PDP spend 16 years and none of these road are good again , do you mean PDP roads go after them ? Solid roads should be good for not less than 30 years ...

I work and reside in Agbara. This is a statement of fact: Between 2015 to 2017, my personal income tax to Ogun State was more than 1.5m naira. I am a middle range income earner, working for one of the multi-national companies here. We are all aware a former state governor in this country paid 400k tax in 3 years!
This road has never been this bad, I can assure you. Whilst we pay taxes (PAYE) to Ogun state government, the Federal government collects VAT from companies - including withholding taxes.
Would it not be reasonable for a responsible state government to give back to a community where more than 70% of its revenues is generated?
If as an individual (mid-range) salary earner like me could pay more than 1.5m tax in 3 years, how much more would high range earners and companies pay?
The state is making so much money from this area and is doing so little to assist the people.
We are not asking for too much - FIX OUR ROADS. Is that too much to demand from government? We all need to collectively stamp out impunity by our leaders; that is the message.
you need to differentiate the state roads from the federal roads
