MrsPhyno:What they think they are joking with is sowing a seed of discord on Nairaland and by extension in Nigeria. |
steryj:You don't need to be tempted to join the NCAN thing. The World is watching us, i mean how do we expect them to take us serious when we hardly treat ourselves with utmost "respect". This is plan of our leaders from all regions and they achieving it big time. Even if the country breaks, the political leaders of South west for instance would still want some of these things to continue so to impoverished the mass more. Mind you when i say our leaders,i meant the bad ones cos we've got good ones against them. Is this what we intend to pass to them next generation? |
rafcrown:And what do you stand to gain by saying Igbo?! Igbo?! Igbo?! Can you tell me you have no good Igbo guys that you have come in contact with that's if you aren't impersonating to cause tribal issue here. For God sake, we don't need this for us to succeed as a nation. Don't use a behaviour or character of one person or persons to generalize a own tribe. If i may ask Yoruba or Hausa guys doesn't steal? Come on guys,by all these comments we are creating more discord of enmity to our fragile democracy. If you care to know, I'm a proud Yoruba guy and i respect other tribe in Nigeria. |
AreaFada2:It beats my imagination to see how the Youths are divided these days along ethnic lines. Our political leaders know that to achieve their selfish interest, all they just need do is to divide the Youths. Unfortunately, Youths are playing to the gallery. We need to rise up and tell them that we know their gimmicks. Bad economy doesn't care about one's tribe as we are all facing the consequences of bad leadership. If the we(Youths) continue like this, there may not be solution in sight. |
When someone does something wrong or good, we should please condemn or appreciate respectively that person not by checking where the person comes from. Good or bad persons are peculiar to a particular region. For this nation to get to her "eldorado" it requires the sincerity of the Youths and not being sentimental on issues that require nothing but the truth. Please, lets try to call a spade a spade and shun this NCAN of thing. Condemn what is bad! Be it perpetrated by Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa person, that is only way we can move forward. God bless Nigeria. |
chiwetel:Yes, cos when she's productive, successful. This is a plus to the Man's name and the Society will respect him for giving the wife free-hand to develop its potentials. After all, a Wife's success is Husband's success too. Basically, i think it's insecure men who are the ones scared of women's success and thus want to relegate them to the back and make them feel inferior. Mind you because a wife is successful doesn't mean she shouldn't respect her husband and vice-versa. Respect is reciprocal. |
chiwetel:I seldomly leave a comment here, but in response to what you said and @dollyjoy did said too. I think she has said it all by saying "what matters most is respect and understanding in any form of affair". By respect and understanding,i think she meant a man who respects his wife, support her to achieve her desires, potentials and goals. A man who treats the wife right, cherishes her. Who doesn't relegate the wife, he allows her have a say and her way when the need be, also who understands reason for actions taken by the wife. Above all a man that loves his wife and have good listening hear. I hope with this, you get where @dollyjoy is coming from(point of view). |
DammyLucy:.....and how do you look? Pot calling kettle black.SMH |
Good one |
We have a long way to go in Nigeria. To get out of this predicament, we need to support our own by buying 'made in Naija'. By so doing,we would attract foreign interest to our unstable economy. |
Esmanhamza:Read it again two sureties each; which means each surety is to pay 200million. |
Watching as the truth unveils in due course. |
