Please

My opinion - Go to any regional area or Territory that offers the opportunities you are looking for. When you get there, you will probably find a couple of Nigerians or Africans there.

But then generally speaking, there is a Nigerian Association in WA that you can contact by email. I am guessing there is a whatsapp group for Nigerians living in Melbourne. There are Nigerians in Sydney but I am not sure if they have an association. Like I mentioned in a previous post, there is also a recently created whatsapp group for Nigerians living in Qld.

I hope this helps. Lol.
Please do you have the link to the Whatsapp group of Nigerians living in Melbourne?

Hi Sola,
I am in the process of applying to university of Melbourne for my Masters.
I have literally been sleeping on their website, going over the process over and over.
I have gathered almost all my documents and have also search for possible supervisors in my field.
But I haven’t done the actual application(I am scared not to make a mistake)
I will like to communicate with you if there is advice you can give me, As someone who has applied and successfully been awarded scholarship.
Please how can I email you?
I will also try sending a Pm(not sure I know how it works, as I am new to nairaland)
Thank you in Advance for your response.

Thank you so much for your response, I would do just that.

Yes, you can apply with your family. Indeed, it is advisable you do that because what I have gathered is that a lot of students who went alone and tried to apply for their family to join them had delays in processing visa for their family. If you are not using an agent, the application form online is the same and you will be the primary applicant whilst your family is added as dependents. If you are using an agent, the agent are familiar with filling the forms. You only need to show that you have funds/savings to cover your family since I reckon your scholarship only covers your own expenses. As long as you are able to show proof of funds for your family, you are good to go. Start filling the forms online and you can then send questions on this platform if you run into challenges but I honestly think the form is straightforward. Best.

Good evening everyone and happy new year!

I am new here and I have gone through the thread, thank you all for all the information. However, I am still looking for information on applying with ones family especially if you have a child. I gained admission into the University of Melbourne on scholarship. Please I need information that has or had to apply for visa with his/her family. Please kindly reach out or if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
