I love this topic, it will cause a lot of men/ guys to think.

1. You should not compare people with thing.
2. You cannot really relate with things, in the absence of people. There is really no basis for comparison.
3. You cannot really relate with animals, in the absence of people. Those who have animals (e,g. cats), as their heir have problems. Accepted people can be funny, but to replace people with animals, .
4. Humans can not find TRUE fulfillment outside of relationship with fellow humans.
5. The platform on which you relate to your girlfriend/ fiancee, maybe the way she responds to you when you get married.
Let me stop here.

I am always surprise at some 'funny' responses on public forums like this. Someone went ahead to sack her SSA, and you are still doubting her integrity ? Well to the pure all things are pure, and to the corrupt, all things (everyone) is corrupt.

@ K C. I hail you, but you have more work to do, i.e. you still need to help her further. If you don't investigate what happened, it may happen again. You need professional help. You need Counselors,and if you are a Xtian, preferably Christian counselors.

@Boboribo I thought what we were looking at is working out the marriage and being happy with the your spouse. Being fulfilled together.

Online dating, can lead to true marriage,  but you don't fall in love online, with someone you have not seen, or spent time with, you are ATTRACTED.
True love is a conscious thing, a thing of the will, factoring in the good, bad, ugly, up, downs etc.

I was thinking, as a Christian, if you walk in love, God's love, you can live with anyone. But that does not mean one should not do his/her home work in regard sto marriage or any type of relationship for that matter. Home work for a life partner: praying; thinking; dating (investigating); and believing the best of the person (knowing that there is no perfect being, everybody has his/her own fault); and also working on your own strengths and weaknesses.

@ sly-k: ppl have their opinion, at least in this forum. legba1 has made a point which should be considered. What sly-k has just done is what many of the arrogant men in power are doing, thinking they are the only wise one, not considering others opinion.

Please, as we celebrate the resignation of Lukman, and anticipating that the rest, who are not ready to repent will do likewise, let us pray for AP Jonathan to choose the right replacement, not based on sentiments, but character and ability.

Thank God, it is Ebenezer Obadare that started this, his points are more logical, and he had not passed judgment yet, I believe; correct me if I am wrong. He had left room for defense. How I wish we can reason in the same vein.

In as much as it is God's will and command to give, it is a biblical and natural practice, but you should had communed with your heart.
Really I don't know the atmosphere as at the moment, you may either be exaggerating or telling the truth with no hyperbole. I know that such things happen, especially in Lagos.
It is better not to give, than give and hold grudge. Please, search your heart next time you are in such situation, and ask if the 'Pastor' is speaking Gods mind.
If he is not speaking what is in the bible, or either over emphasizing one aspect, to his 'gain' dont be angry, just pray for God to direct you to living church. Note, there is no perfect church, we are all still human, and can still make mistake, but a  true man of God, will walk by the Word of God.
