RIP ma'am |
Franzinni: ![]() |
Hmmm. Buhari really finish this country sha If small emeifele can loot this much, I just can't imagine how much the northern cabals must have stolen. The hausa/fulani cabals that tinubu's efcc is afraid to go after. People who ought to be in thesame jail as emeifele if not a worse jail. |
Mrwhite09:What's wrong with you Aminu. A man who's already 30, for how long will you keep doing this? ![]() |
Gerrard59:Originally these kids are from the villages and thier poor parents send them to the city to learn more about Islam- or so they claim. The almajiri system is akin to a boarding school where children live away from thier homes to learn from thier teachers. But unlike the conventional boarding school, the kids are left to fend for themselves since the mallam is also living in poverty and their parents never sent him any money for provision when they were shipping them So the mallam have no choice than to send them out to go look for bread as early as 7am following morning studies. Then they return to school (mallam's residence) at sunset and engage in further studies till bed time. President Jonathan planned to reform the system , complete with the provision of food, bathing, clothing and learning but he was shamed. Definitely as the children grow older, they would need to stop begging. By the time they're in thier mid to late teens, they would definitely leave the mallam's place start to get independent, learning new skills, trade and different types of works. There are some big businessmen in Kano who were once almajiris m Sadly, there would also br quite a number who would go back the wrong path, banditry, terrorism, thieves and drugs. |
Gerrard59:They also have a good popular of indigenous Christians but Kano and Kaduna are more populated both with the indigenous and southern settlers. Even in infrastructure, economically and security wise, the 2Ks are ahead. It was that elrufai that brought killer herdsmen to Kaduna. Makarfi, Namadi Sambo and Yakowa were peaceful and tolerant governors |
Gerrard59:It all depends on their leaders. Saudi Arabia you just mentioned was literally a very conservative society until they had a new crown prince in 2017 who implemented various reforms aimed at modernising the country and opening it to the rest of the world. Leadership is very sacred in Islam. The Quran emphasizing the importance of loyalty and obedience to leaders even in challenging circumstances. So if the leader is going to make a change, the followers are expected to offer thier full support even though he might not be totally right. Infact it has been stated that protesting against a leader is forbidden. Just pray for Allah's guidance upon them. And if the leader's reforms or actions deviate from the teachings of Islam, Only Allah can judge him and the leader would be held accountable on the day of judgement. (Reason why they still stuck with buhari even though he obviously didn't know what he was doing.) Trust black man as how he dey manipulate and exploit religion for his own selfish and evil purposes ![]() The Northern Nigerian elites continue to prioritize the own political agendas and interests rather than seeking the betterment of their people and region. They don't want the people enlightened because it would threatened their own status. Before the 2023 election when Peter obi took over the media by storm, kwankwaso just laughed and said "70 percent of his people are not on social media." As a leader, is that something to be proud of or be ashamed of In this 21st centuryNorthern Nigeria is the only place in the world where you will find children in urban areas in large numbers, bowls in hand, roaming the streets for food. A phenomenon that can't be found in the poorest villages globally. And the elites still don't see anything wrong with it. Infact they're proud of them and use them to brag and threaten the south during election. Even me wey I no be hausa, the sight of those children dey torment my soul especially during this cold ![]() The other time, emir Sanusi tried call them out but they all ganged up and took away his throne. |
Lithiumite:You are right! The beginning of the end started when the owner died in 2005 or there about and the elder brother took over. |
amazingspiderma:No be lie. Especially on Saturday. You go watch Tom and Jerry and WWE all morning. Infact when we are sure that our mother had gone to the market, we'll sneak from islamiyya and run back home just to watch wrestling. Those days when wrestling dey sweeeet. Wallahi you can't just afford to miss it grin |
Abokisulay:No be lie. Especially on Saturday. You go watch Tom and Jerry and WWE all morning. yuzjet:DITV was founded by a kaduna state businessman and it's also based in the state, very sweet and educative station like that ![]() |
dominique:DITV is based in kaduna and owned by a northerner named Shariff Baba Ahmed. He's from same family with Datti Baba Ahmad, Obi's mate. I was born in kaduna in the mid 90s and I have memories of watching the channel up until mid 2000s when the founder died and the elder brother took over operation. Before the death of Shariff, you would hardly know that it's owner is a northerner because it was highly entertaining, diverse, educative, Disneycartoons, WWE, American soap operas(young and the restless, etc), nolly wood movies etc. Infact it was more sweeter than AIT sef ( since I watched AITtoo which was a Nationwide broadcast). Infact it is only when we want to watch superstory that we change to NTA After the death of Shariff, the elder brother who was more conservative declared all those things Haram and began to air hausa, hausa and Islamic, Islamic programs ![]() That's when the channel started dying, like from 2007 downwards. It lost a huge number of viewership from his non Muslim audience. They began to lose revenue too because nobody was coming to advertise with them anymore since they turned it to regional affair. (Just so you know, the population of non-muslims in kaduna is almost similar to that in Lagos. Infact KD is the most civilised northern state followed by Jos) Infact I thought the channel have died since, I didn't know it just died now ![]() I don't really know if it's the first private station Sha. |
Gerrard59:Same way he's viewed in other northern states. Generally, everyone knows that apart from being corrupt, atiku is more detribalised than buhari and kwankwaso. Before the 2019 election, a friend told me that even though buhari had performed below par in his first term, atiku still isn't an option for him because he have alot southern and Christian friends ( The killing of Deborah in sokoto... When he spoke against it, remember how the core north attacked him on social media and even threatened that he will never get a single vote from them in any election? ) They preferred buhari because he possesses same fanatical behavior ( remember what he said about implementing Sharia law when he becomes president and how he criticised Jonathan methods.."an attack on Boko Haram is an an attack on the north" ![]() Anyway buhari turned out to be a big dissapointment during his time as president. They found out that he was not only a bigger thief than atiku, but also a scammer. So they wouldn't hesitate to vote for the other brother atiku in the next election. Infact atiku won the north in the last election but APC and inec did thier thing as usual. |
Eriokanmi:During the build up to the 2019 election when atiku mentioned that he was going to sell nnpc and the refineries, could you believe that alot of hausa people refused to vote for him because of that statement? They voted for buhari instead. Now see where we are today. |
blowjohn:This is exactly what was going through my mind. Infact I no trust that handshake between him and Obi Even obasanjo mentioned in his book throughout his life he have never encountered anyone with a fascination for visiting sorcerers like atiku. Meanwhile OBJ na confirm Yoruba guy oo During the 2015 election, atiku travelled all the way to Kano where I live to meet someone |
TheChameleon:Honestly I'll be very disappointed in Peter obi if he yields to thier demands |
Mystic216:No mind them. I live in Kano and I know exactly how they behave. That's how repaid Jonathan after he built several schools with the intention of taking almajiris our of the streets. Kwankwaso himself was mocking Jonathan after buhari win. He said that thesame almajiris set him up with thier plates and tossed him to the floor. |
BluntCrazeMan:You're making sense |
Mrfeel:Really? Wallahi I never knew That audio kind of changed my mind towards him. I stopped liking and respecting him as before again. Chai! |
Angelfrost:I no understand this comment. |
I can also see the governor of katsina and the minister of defense there please. No be only tinubu suppose go? What are they all doing in France, I really don't understand. |
Gerrard59:Ok, you could refer me to the article when it's finally published. Thanks. |
tobby20:Lol, Boss, I'm talking from experience. I also own a cat and if it's not meat, she hardly eats any other thing. Even though you want her to eat rice or any other food, if you don't put it in her own special plate, she wouldn't even look at it. The animal get class, honestly. |
[quote author=tobby20 post=133025578]Dey lie on their behalf Just dey play[/quote Lol, Boss, I'm talking from experience. I also own a cat and if it's not meat, she hardly eats any other thing. Mummytoo:Madam if you are not too superstitious, just get a cat and the coachroaches in your house will go extinct in less than a week. Coachroaches is thier favorite snacks while rat is the main meal. You can allow them to roam into your kitchen anytime, no problem. One good thing about cat is that they are very neat and respect themselves. They will never touch a food that isn't meant for them, even if it's uncovered. |
lendahand:Good morning I believe their lifestyle could be a major contributing factor. Majority of the northerners still strongly maintain traditional and religious values. I'd say about 90 percent of northern women wait until marriage to lose thier virginity. Even when they get married, northeners still frown at birth control pills and methods. We all know that. Generally speaking, It has been suggested that hormonal contraceptives, abortion pills could interfere with a woman's fertility in the future. You see, it's not just about the eggs released every month, there's also an intricate web of reproductive system and every part play a role in fertility and birth. Also, the regular food people eat might influence their overall health and immunity. The core and improverished north consume fresh and locally source food which are still nutrient-dense. This is way better than junk food and sugary snacks. Honestly, I've never met or heard of a hausa woman with fibroids. But that doesn't mean they're non-existent. |
Gerrard59:Good morning. Ofcourse there are birth defects Boss. But it's very rare. The most I've seen are that of polio, which is not exactly a birth defect. Still births are far more common. Perhaps when it comes to birth defects other factors might come to play aside age of the women. |
tete7000:Bro. Thanks for your this. I've seen many comments saying " statistics that have proven that getting pregnant over 35 years is risky" and blablabla and I'm kinda confused. Here in the north, some women will get married at their late teens or early twenties and continue to give birth till the day they stop seeing her menses, 45, 50 or 55. Giving birth to 12, sometimes 14, or 17 children. Infact I've even seen a woman who dropped 21 children and there was no twins o. All na single births. What's more intriguing, southerners no dey born plenty. I guess the average children amongst households over there is 2 kids, especially in this economy. But a average hausa woman at age 35 might still go ahead and add like 3 to 5 children to the kids she already have. Here in the north, it is very common to see a woman whose first grandchildren are same age as her own last borns or even older sef. Mind you, quite a number of northern women still give birth successfully at home rather than opting for the hospitals, even the ones that are above 30 years. No surrogacy or IVF no nothing and the baby very healthy. Are these commenters saying that women in the southern part of Nigeria were built differently since they are prone to a higher risk pregnancy due to age according to "statistics?" |
Winnin009:The hoodlums that killed him thought he was Nigerian. That's what I heard. |
nasbiafra:I heard that they killed lucky Dube, the world's favorite icon after Mandela. The hoodlums that killed him thought he was Nigerian. |
nairayouthcom:"He no sleep he no slumber" Easy bro. I know hustling is tough but there's no need to blaspheme. |
