On my PTDF Dashboard I have observed that the edit button for my SSCE is active, however, when I click to edit the button, it is logging me out of the portal automatically,...Was it how it has being, please anybody to shed light on this...

From my own understanding , I associated the delay with ASUU lingering strike and the ongoing National protest organized by NLC. This is because if the list is released at this hours, there might be a media frenzy that the public universities have been shutdown and the Government is using government funds to Sponsor its officials family through the PTDF Programs.... Just thinking alone.

PTDF doesn't try for this year's selection process. Something that can be done in less than a week is taking them to eternity. They computerized the entire selection process and all that is required to shortlist applicants is just a click. But don't know why the delay. And they are expecting people to start September session. Many will be left with only option to defer the scholarship. From all indication, the list may not even come out this week and next week is August. Kai! Nigeria for us. We pray to be among the successful applicants in the end.

Last year, we had 'reliable sources' who took it up to talk to the PTDF chairman directly shortly after his appointment was renewed before the list finally came out.

Probably many of them got the scholarship last year and aren't here now.

Just saying, if there is anyone with access or opportunity to talk to the executives at the PTDF office, kindly do. Talking to them also does a lot in making them release the lists quick when they see candidates' eagerness.

You don't need to tell me to take my mind of it, I already know all of that. I'm just being realistic that they may need to be pushed to do what has to be done on time.

Someone here posted that he had an insider's information in the ptdf that the list will gonna come out this week or next week max.

Today I also watched a video of a courtesy visit paid to PTDF by the French ambassador to Nigeria, MADAM EMMANUELLA, and I also saw the PTDF Chairman quoting that even this year they have more than 50 scholars that will be sent to France. Does that mean each country will have just more than 50, not even up to 100 scholars?

The report said that the successful list of PTDF will be released anytime from July 11th to July 15th, 2022.

Guys, let us intensify our prayers to make it to the final list.

I didn't know anyone on the panel and neither did I know anyone at PTDF either but I got the scholarship- based on merit anyway.

It always happens, let's have faith and be very optimistic, more merits candidates by God's Grace.

What does that mean? Either way, the class of degree isn't as weighted as O'Levels for it to matter even though it's generally more credible than O'Levels IMO. Maybe both should be relegated to 10 - 15 points each. Then have SOP and other qualifications round out the rest of the process.

To scale the PTDF, one needs a large volume of prayers. That is all. Let us put an end to the speculation and duel on prayers. The interview will be over tomorrow, and what has happened has happened and can never be reversed. We wish ourselves the best of luck!
