Most workers were prevented from going to their duty post today as a result of the activities of youths from Ogoni land. They blocked the Akpajo junction a very sensitive and important road for those working @ Eleme refinery, Onne, Bori and those going to port Harcourt. Their reason is that the government is yet to implement the UNEP report. I was @ the scene for over two hours. They were not violent but promise to continue until friday if their demand wasnt met. |
