Iy has happened to me before I was in a negotiation meeting, my Facebook story was opened and playing stories from different acct, when I shared my screen and was looking for a particular tab I clicked on the fbk, a girl was pouting on that particular fbk story + my chats was opened.

Lesson learnt, close all tabs once u are going into all virtual meetings

This is layman's logic, first exchange rate will def affect the buying cost from supplier country. For instance

1Bag/1dollar that's about 1600ngn + other overheads+ profit = 2200

Assuming 1dollar is (lower)300ngn + overheads + profit = 600 or 700ngn

Assuming import duties 2000+ 1dollar/1600ngn+ overhead + profit= 7500-800ngn

You can see the difference in prices with Tax & without and if the naira stabilizes.

The Import duty being removed is one out of over 20 other dues paid on imports.
With the exchange rate and transportation costs, every thing is equal to square one.
Tinubu has to unfloat the Naira for the economy to to be impacted.

This staple food tax free is absolute though and u don't add up to the landing cost
