Good day my people:

I have a quick question to ask.

I recently got my TRV application approved and would be travelling from the EU with a valid residence permit to Canada. Most of the flights that I have seen have brief layovers (4 hours max in the UK). I would like to know if I will be needing a transit visa to go through the UK. The airline could not provide me with this information. Your urgent answers are needed so as to enable me make an informed decision before the prices go up again.

jst got an appointment date today! I was rescheduled from the 13th of August to 16th of July. It was jst God!

@damosif, I received my enrolment letter from TUT yesterday after sending series of mails to some designated email addresses. Nairaspace was d genius behind it. email him asap!

went to Indian embassy to Reschedule my appointment date but nobody attended to us (people with similar issues). was asked to come back on Friday or Monday. I just hope they will keep to their words and attend to people with appointment issues on Friday.

please, those that have collected visas should help out with useful information that will help others! Ophre and co, your contributions are highly needed!!

@Solu; I have not been able to do that. I am yet to book a return ticket to India and I learnt one has to submit the evidence of the booked ticket while submitting the application. I hope to reserve one this week. Which stage are you now?
Hope I can get more light on this flight issue cos a return ticket to India will be a waste. Is it possible to hold reservation for a return ticket and then cancel once visa is issued to book a one way trip? Just thinking o.... and would not mind anyone helping my ignorance about travelling to India.
