If you like science fiction you should read Dune by Frank Herbert. It was written on 1965 and is still one of the best science fiction books ever written.

I am reading the 3rd book in the series as well as the fatal shore, by Robert Hughes, a history or Australia from pre European settlement up to the 1900s.

My friend, there is always another way. Do not do it. Become a good man who serves and builds his community. People will see you and know you for your kind deeds. From there you will build respect, and you will flourish as a person. Then everyone will know you as a man who can be trusted, and you will have found purpose in life.
