The way people talk about US wiping out north Korea baffles me a lot. What happened in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya was a coalition led by US. No single country can carry out a single airstrike on another country, else it will lead to WW. If US dare strike North Korea, I am sorry to say that what happened to Hitler will definitely happen to trump. America will just be used as testing sites. I am very sure they(US) don't want that.

The US has anti missile batteries that will bring down those missiles before they reach the continental US and North Korea will be literally obliterated before they get the chance to fire anyone that will hit target in the US. What you need to factor is that the North Koreans have no military base near the US border and they will have to fire their missiles from afar which US radar will pick up in no time and take actions to stop. The US on the other hand has military bases in both South Korea and Japan right at the doorstep of the North Koreans. Believe me the contest will be over in no time. Kim jong Un's best defence against any US attack would be China's willingness (Which I doubt) to get involved. Kim should give up his miserable nuclear arsenal in return for lifting of economic sanctions that has crippled the North Korean economy. At any rate, the North might end up imploding within itself if he doesn't do anything to salvage the terrible economic situation in the country.
