UNDERSTANDING THE NEW BIRTH
Born again is not a SECOND birth.

it is a NEW BIRTH..

The believer in Christ therefore, is NOT one who experienced a SECOND birth.

He has experienced A NEW BIRTH..

The believer is one who HAD his EXISTENCE in a state of death but has RECEIVED LIFE in Christ.

Colossians 2:13
And you being DEAD in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he QUICKENED TOGETHER WITH HIM, having forgiven you all trespasses.

Ephesians 2:5
Even when WE WERE DEAD in sins, hath he QUICKENED us together with Christ.

WE WERE DEAD, we existed but had our existence in DEATH.

We received LIFE in him

John 10 :10
.. I am come that they might have LIFE..

NOT that they might have a BETTER LIFE..

john 1:4
In him was life..

See,.... In him was a BETTER life?

No!

What we have received in Christ is NOT a BETTER life, there is no life outside him

The BELIEVER therefore, is NOT an UPGRADED VERSION OF WHOM HE USED TO BE.

The BELIEVER is NOT a refurbished version of whom he used to be.

HE is a NEW MAN whose IDENTITY is CHRIST

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but BY HIS OWN BLOOD he entered in ONCE into the Holy place, having obtained ETERNAL REDEMPTION for us.

You see, Jesus did NOT enter heaven for us with a RED LIQUID BLOOD!

HE entered with his RESURRECTED BODY..

HIS RESURRECTED BODY IS THE BLOOD THAT ATONES FOR OUR SINS.

We are members of that spiritual body!

In him we LIVE, MOVE and have our BEING..

Therefore, we LIVE, MOVE and have our BEING IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS WHICH IS THE TOKEN FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF OUR SINS.

We are ETERNALLY CLEAN!
