Yeah, same happened to a friend of mine. Her mom had to DHL her notification of result all the way. But I don't understand why they need to see what we graduated with CUL and the Greencard is enough proof that we're qualified to serve.

Dont mind them, some camps have overzealous officials. I even planned to take only certificate but i have decided to take both cert and statement of result. I wont give those oversabi people any reason to send me back home.

I don't think it'd be easy and convenient for them to give constant updates, with all the drills, activities and so on. Plus, they may not even be able to charge their phones. I can hardly even reach my friends currently in camp. We'll probably hear all the gist at the end.

Hmmm..... Its true. I hope there will give us gist after the end of their camping. One of my coursemates that made it to stream one warned us that we should never forget to carry our certificate along with statement of result as she was sent back home to get it. ABbiie25, hope u copy.

For those that are in stream 1,pls keep the updates coming so that we that are in stream 2 will have something to look forward to come January

Day 2 yall, i woke up around 2:30am to prepare for the 4am drill, i have always been a fitness type of guy so it was no problem adjusting to the regimented lifestyle. Drill commences as promised and we get hosted by the liveliest camp coordinator, the soldiers here are completely different from the rough uncouth lot i am used to..... Registration still going on even now, anyhow i forcefully included myself for the SAED program as an instructor to help lecture civil engineers and architects... Tommorow is our camp welcome party and the camp coordinator has promised to bring Nigeria's biggest artiste, there's buzz about the party everywhere..... For the first time yall i kept on staring at massive asses, it was everywhere.... God, yall need to see these babes, and they surprisingly are nicer to relate with than their hotness suggests..... Anyway as promised i will keep yall updated....

well starting to enjoy camp tho.. mayb twas due to d sressful process involved in getting registered that really got me obsessed wit d whole ideal of nysc.. met pretty nice people both male and female.. tho made a new friend today. a foreign trained graduate from a skul in Ukraine, mehn d bae z gorgeous, tho we started with quarreling due to d stress everyone was passing tru during todays reg she talked to me with a lil harsh voice buh leta apologised, currently chatting on whatsapp buh i gat a bae i've been also following up after we boarded same bus to camp, a gal from iz it caleb uni abi buh mehn d babe dey cut ma slip. shes just so straight abi she no send me ni buh anyways i just hope am arent going back to ma ways.. aside dah iss mehn d military guys no geh joy o.. those phyno kinda guys dah barb thier hair in diff shapes and sizes. ones ur spotted on d reg queue they will bring u out and sit u on d floor afterwards some other drilling.. for some that Thiers is worst dey asked them to shave der beards b4 dey will b allowed to do reg. so plz dont dress like radical to camp.. aside that d drilling no b here i've already lost some few pounce. i just hope ah can keep escaping frog jump for coming late.. what else ok yeah shaping camp kit is 1.8k.. on diz case i like baggy. 50cent and 2pac

I can never forgive Nigerian government for making me go through this trauma,am not happy with anyone at home including mom and Dad,I find everything annoying at home,I tried resuming back to work today maybe I wouldn't think about it,but hell no,I saw stream I corps members purchasing "whites"on my way to work,I felt like crying,all these dreams of NYSC orientation has been postponed.Now frustration is setting in already,I now find Nairaland annoying,I don't feel like talking to anyone,I just wish January can be here next week but no!The most annoying part is several people are calling me to know where am posted,I feel ashamed picking calls because the question will be,where were u posted..........*sobs* can't imagine what my mood will be like on the day they will enter and leave camp.

Baba u are not alone in this. Most of us are not fresh graduates, so u can imagine how frustrating it it.... . Spending up to 1,2,3 years at home. Its just unfortunate that things are not working well in this regime. When Goodluck Jonathan was still the president, there was enough money for mobilization of pcms but now, since buhari came into power, nothing is sure again. I wished i was mobilized b4 buhari came into power. Lets just hope that we would be in camp come January

Bro stream 1 are on their way to their respectively camps, we stream 2 should stick together till only God knows when we are going to camp..

For now the previous thread is of no use, we can only go back there for reference.

Good morning esteemed gracelanders,how are we all doing,guess most of us are still basking in the euphoria of been posted,I believe you all will agree with me that its been a long walk here,from counting down to the release of timetable,uploading of senate list,the slashing issue and how some of us didnt get to see our name ontime which I was involved honestly it wasnt a good time and finally to the issue of streams,we are all asking ourselves several questions on it going to be determined and several rumour where flying and there
And finally we are here,I really wish all of us here can go with stream1 for the purpose of that bond and the friendship we have form overtime and its even more painful to know that some founding members were not in stream1,these is where we found ourselve in this joke of a country where anything that concerns the future of her youth is not prioritised,but if God can bring us this far he can take us much further,learnt the stream2 peepz have created another thread I understand there is so much noise on graceland now but we are still together,
My prayer is that your camping wont exceed January,wishing us all a wonderful camping experience,a great service year and above all success in all our future endeavours

Hey everyone.. Can we focus on this thread a little before focusing on a whatsapp group. The truth is, we cannot fit every stream 2 Gracelander into a single group, very soon it will be overfilled. The more we focus on that whatsapp group, the more this thread will be neglected.. My opinion though.

Am never in support of the watsapp group. Watsapp group should be created for those that are being deployed to the same state. If watsapp is created, then whats the essence of this thread? This thread was not even sopposed to be created in the first place. Weather stream 1 or 2,we are all batch B pcms and we will likely pass out the same day. We would have still sticked to the old thread so that those that went with stream 1 can give us updates about thier experience in camp. My opinion though.

The only consolation i get be say dem allow me continue for the job wey i dey do. I gats even tell principal say i no go resign again since na stream 2 i dey (they don already get replacement for me). I go just use this period vex make enough money make i storm camp next year.
