Nairaland GeneralLife Issues Is Not Permanent!!! by soughtout2013(op): 8:32am On Dec 20, 2015
Hmmmm!! You woke up early in the morning and start to reminisce about ur previous life issues and life experiences, you flashed back to that lovely period in secondary school where you always dreamt of bcoming a successful and well known business man/woman, chartered accountant, banker, politician, medical doctor, but later you realised the fact that it wasn't just a thing to be ordinarily said, it involves a lot of study and hardwork. You decided to write jamb, you didn't make it the first time, second time but eventually luck smiled @ you. You gained admission to one of the prestigious schools in your country, it was a thing of happiness for you and your parents that @ last dream come through.

You entered the university of your choice but they tried bringing you down and made you not to achieve that certain grade you always had in mind. You eventually graduated from the institution, went for youth service and finished, eventually u settled down to work, but later realised that your earnings happened to be a peanut that couldn't sustain you not to talk about bringing up a family of your own.

Then you sat down and start tinking about your age mates whom you went to secondary school, university together, then the next thought that pops to ur mind is that, some are married to one rich man or woman, some are professionals in deir respective fields, some medical doctors, some now work with multinationals, some are furthering deir education abroad, some even work with companies abroad, some into politics and are making it big time, some even have deir own personal businesses and are realy in big time money.

After thinking about the afore-mentioned, what has it changed about you, have you forgotten the fact that opportunity is everywhere, it doesn't just stay with a particular person, opportunity rotates around and makes sure it gets to everyone. Its just a matter of you getting ready to make wise use of the opportunity when it comes your way.

Olamide is your age bracket, wizkid is a yunga broda to you, dj cuppy is ur junior in secondary school, davido is a street bro to u, zahra is your childhood friend, linda ikeji is ur old time friend, basket mouth lived few houses to ur own crib, you and emeka graduated together and now he works with giant telecommunication company. And so what, have you forgotten the fact that we all have our own time and priod of reign.

My brother, sister, uncle, aunt, friends, stop comparing yourself to dose who are making it presently, life is a mata of time and living up to standard when that real opportunity comes. If you think wide and die eventually, to what end do u own ur race to success, what happens to ur unfulfilled dreams and goals.

Wake up friend and stop thinking less about ur lovely self, put on ur track and shield of motivation and walk into ur life time opportunities. Dose whom you see as gods today will fall @ ur feet to worship u when the time comes....
EducationRe: Unilag 2015/2016 Admission by soughtout2013(m):
Evening to lovely and prestigious applicants of university of lagos, its realy getting me worried as many candidates are aving issues with printing out their payment advise slip. Kindly note dah d fault is basically from unilag and jamb as unilag is suffering from fear of catering for 30,000 candidates who passed and choosed unilag as most preferred first choice. In other to avoid what apened in fixing of cut off marks last year, dere has been a consensus between jamb and unilag with oda schools having high number of students to possibly distribute aspirants. Kindly visit jamb office instead of cits to confirm ur new institution where u gonna need to write post utme before its gonna b too late. For more info kindly message or call ma phone number........God help us all

"I vow not to allow any guy take advantage of me again, no guy will touch nor see beneath my skirt again. Dayo has shown me how heartless a guy can be. He messed my life up after telling him to wait till after marriage. No problem oooo!!! May my God punish him for me" she concluded as she hurriedly pulled her clothes and rush down to the bathroom to wash her swollen face.

At the door step of funmi was this huge sourvenir sent to her through a postal officer, as she tried to go through the packages, she got grimazed as to the content inside the sourvenir and the person it came from. The name on the gift reads akinwande. Akinwande is a guy who aproached funmi on the eve of valentine she went for shopping in preparation for the event hapening the next day. After too much disturbance, she gave out her home address and number out of force. Immediately she remembered, she jambed her hands together and hissed then told the postal officer to return the gift back to the owner and tell him not to try it again. She banged the door and kept on murmuring on the funny action of the guy.

Funmi Akinfewa a graduate of University of Lagos, Department of Accountancy, Faculty of Business Administration in the year 2006 and finished with a first class. Born into a family three and she happened to be the only child. She gained employment into First Bank Plc, Mainland Branch as the bank accountant and she has been working successfully onward. After been faced by different challenges of life, she decided to keep herself from opposite sex and stay focused on establishing a fulfilling tomorrow.

I love the booty!!! The phone kept on ringing continuously as funmi wasn't close to pick up the call. She was in the kitchen making dinner for herself and parents. Fortunately, she came back and met the phone ringing and picked up instantly and a conversation ensued.
"Hello" a male voice sounded,
"Hello, please who is this"replied funmi,
"Clears throat! Well funmi this is akinwande". Replied akinwande,
"Please who is akinwande and how did you get my number" replied funmi,
"Uhm! You gave me your number the day we met at shoprite the eve of valentine and I also sent you a sovernir last week tuesday which you refused and returned back to me" replied akinwande,
"Oh! Oh! Oh! So you are the stupid guy who thinks he can buy a lady's heart through ordinary gifts. Do you think am a cheap lady like others?" Replied funmi,
" No! Funmi I didn't mean it that way......" Replied akinwande as funmi cuts in,
"Shut up and listen to me, never call this line again. In your life or thunder will rain on you". She concluded and dropped the call.

In akinwande's apartment, he felt embarrassed and sad at the way funmi hanged up on him and tried calling back but she kept on voicemailing the call. With great regrets, he hit the bed without eating and talking to anyone.

Babalola Akinwande also known as akin, a young and handsome young man who finished from the great ife Obafemi Awolowo University in the 2005, studied Business Administration. Born into a family of four Mr babalola, Mrs babalola, Akinwande and the younger sister Adetutu. He is the managing director of Babs Limited Plc, a company which produces cement and cornflakes. He is a guy every lady will want to date but he is extremely choosy as his taste of women is determined by him alone.

In a deep thinking and sitted on an expensive sofa bed was akinwande found by his sister. She was suprised at the appearance of her brother and what could have made him sit like this for hours without eating anything.
"Big bros! Big bros!" Shouted adetutu without response. There she became scared as to what could be eating the big brother up. She finally decided to tap him hard and he responded with a great shock.
"Have been trying to communicate with you for minutes but you didn't respond" said tutu,
"Am sorry young sister, just that I have a lot on my mind and its giving me concern" said akin,
"A lot! What exactly is it brother mi" she replied,
" Its actually a girl named funmi...." He replied as tutu cuts in,
"Funmi! What about her and who is she" she replied,
" She's the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with but she's not giving me audience. The worst aspect of it is the fact that I sent her gifts and she returned it back to me, also called her on phone and she blasted me. Am fed up little sister" he replied as he begins to bring out tears.
"Big bros, you don't need to do this to yourself. If truly she's destined for you, she will surely be yours. Truly all girls are not the same, some are easy to get why some play hard to get. All you need do is to improve your love tactics. She will surely concur" she replied him with a big smile and hug on her face.
" Thank you little sister, you are the best in the world" replied akinwande as tutu pouts and placed a kiss on his cheek.

After having a stressed and hectic day at First Bank Nig Plc, funmi plans to return home. On her way home, the front tire of her SUV car bursted in an undisclosed area. With a big dissapointment she said " oh my God! What the hell is this again? Don't even know where the hell to get a vulcanizer. God help me!" She brought her phone to make a call. Suddenly a lexus jeep bypassed her and later reversed and packed behind her. With suprise she felt it was someone who had called but to her greatest suprise it was akinwande whom she has been mal-treating for a long period of time.
"Hello!" Said akinwande as he starts a helpful conversation,
"You again! What is it with you and my existence now? Have told you to leave me alone and you kept on coming......." She replied in harsh tone as he cuts in,
"Funmi! Is this how you treat a stranger you don't know what his intentions for you are? I only passed by and saw you standing at this dangerous spot and decided to be of help. No problem then will leave if that is what you want" he concluded and turned his back towards his car,
"Wait! Its not like that just thattttttttttttttt.......okay in what way can you help me?" She stammered and continued,
"This place is too dangerous for you to stay, kindly let me drop you and you call your mechanic to repair it later" he replied,
"Ok then, let me lock the door" she replied
She locked the door and stepped into his car and surely akinwande who has been looking for such opportunity to at least chat with her one on one and at last he finally got one. After driving for minutes, another conversation ensued.
" I know experience has thought you much that has been making you react to me in such manner. A friend in need is a friend indeed. At least I can't hurt you after offering to give you a lift. What is that thing that has been hunting you funmi that doesn't want to make you give audience to me?" He said,
"Its actually a long story and I regret my actions" she gave her reply in deep tears as akinwande wipes off her tears.

University of Lagos, the school of first choice, founded in 1962 a year before the great country Nigeria became a republican state, located in the Akoka axis of Yaba, Lagos. This great tertiary institution is known as the only institution built beside a lagoon "The Lagos Lagoon". The structures, buildings, departments and faculties have their architecturing in the form of the greece monumental buildings which makes them stay up to decades before renovation. The school is known with different social events as the students will gladly participate in it without thinking twice. Unilag babes and guys are the number one swaggalicious students in the whole of Africa as they are distinct in style, fashion and knowledge. The university as always been rated the best institution in the federation times without number based on the undoubted efforts of the school administrator and students. Unilag has always been a cult free institution right from the period of establishment and still remained the same.

In the class, sitted at the back in the department of accountancy are this two love birds tickling, gisting, kissing and romantically connected to each other. They both served as a distraction to other students who were reading but didn't care if they were reading. When the eye contacts and harrasment was becoming unbearable, they both left the class in laughter and headed straight for lagoon front where they could have enough fun. While holding hands and cudling each other, dayo was a popular dude on campus as he was a lovely singer and dancer. He hand shaked his friends, hugged females who called his name and moved on with his girl friend funmi. Getting to lagoon front, they started their sensationised romance again and conversed.
"Funmi! You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, the only thing have always thought about, my heartbeat, you are my begining and end" said dayo in a flattering manner,
"You mean me! My crown! Ade ori mi! I love you beyond the way you love me, if there is to be a way of showing you that I love you, would love to do it" she replied,
"There is funmi" replied dayo as he smiles at her,
"Realy! What is it my love" replied funmi,
"You know funmi have been thinking of it for days now, want us to go deeper in our relationship" he replied with real seriousness,
"Deeper! Aint we deeper enough" replied funmi in great fear this time,
" I know you won't understand, I mean let's have sex" he sounded soft,
"Sex! Oh know! I think I told you nothing of such will come between us until after marriage as my christianity doesn't give room for that" she replied,
" Ehen! So now its your christianity that will marry you shey! See am even tired of this relationship self and if you know you can't give me what I have asked for then let's end it now" he franctically spoke out and left the lagoon front.
"Dayo! Dayo!" She shouted as he didn't even bother to look backward. She started weeping and went straight to her hostel. She got to her hostel and decided to call dayo to make him see reasons. On the phone dayo sounded calm after telling her he had fogotten everything and promised not to ask about it again and invited her over for a house party that evening in which she went for it.

Dj playing, students grooving realy hard as it was a all student party which was organised by dayo for his upcoming music album. Funmi stepped on the party floor with her red short gown and red hill shoe with a simplified red bag. When dayo saw her, he went to grab her waist and brought her to the dance floor to dance. After minutes of dancing, they both went inside to have a chilling moment. He offered her drink and they cheered up. In the morning funmi was the first to wake up and just to discover herself naked on the bed and dayo beside her. With deep shock she tapped dayo and shouted;
" Dayo you druged and raped me!!!" She shouted,
"Am sorry funmi, that was the only way I could get my urged controlled" he replied,
"Your urge! By taking away my virginity, dayo this is not fair, had I known this was your plans, wouldn't have come for this useless party" she said in pains,
" What is it gaaan, girls younger than you are having sex, what is it with you self that the virginity is so paramount to you." He shouted at her,
"Ehen! I will tell you to the whole world, you fool and ungrateful fellow, God will purnish you for me" she picked up her clothes and left the room in shame and regrets. She took a bike back to her hostel and she began crying all over again and also murmuring.

In Akinwande's car.....he sighed while funmi wept after narrating the story of her life to him.
"You see why I have been acting like that to you" funmi said,
"Hmmm! I now understand perfectly why you needed all the actions you performed. But to be realistic funmi if you are to judge everyone by the sin of one dayo, good men will pass you by. Why not think over it again and try to erase the bad memory off your memory. Me akinwande, am ready to do anything for you despite the story you have narrated, I will still keep on disturbing you" he laughed,
" You are very fun, well thanks for the rescue and will think about it" she said. Finally she got home, got down from the car and waved at akinwande as he zoomed off and she went inside.

"The guy looks calm, gentle and understanding, should I give him a chance or not, or is he also going to act like dayo? No! He can't ! He his too cool to act like that. Or is he trying to play smart on me? Oh God help me. Am realy confused and not choosy" thoughts kept on rolling down her mind as she sits on the dinning table trying to have her breakfast and rest because that day was May day a public holiday. The bell at the door sounded. Everyone in the suprised as to the fact that no visitor was expected that morning. Funmi hastened up to the door to see the unxpected visitor and behind her happened to be her parents too. Opening of the door she saw the most amazing thing of her life. It was akinwande and a group of band singing please marry me. Akinwande on his knee:
"Funmi please will you marry me" he said. Funmi dumpfounded and not knowing what to say and the parents at the back smiling at each other and everyone waiting for funmi's answer. Finally she opened up, "you are very naughty you know after warning you to desist, you still kept on" funmi said as she weeps,
"But you know I can't because I truly love you and ready to do anything for you" he replied,
"Akinwande I know but........" She replied and paused and everyone placed on suspense,
"Yes! I will marry you and ready to be your wife" she shouted.
They both hugged and kissed while the parents watched. Everyone who came along with akinwande got entertained and he got to meet funmi's parent and introduced himself fully. Funmi nodded her head and and said " what a heart trick my heart and life has played on me, I felt I was going to remain a spinster till eternity but check me out falling in love to someone I hated so much at first and getting married soonest. To all females out there who have been in a situation like mine before, there are better dayo out there and many of akinwande that you can find, all you need do is to study and make research on them. As for me am lucky having someone who loved me so much as a partner". Both family later met and the wedding date was fixed which later came to reality and they both lived happily as husband and wife.
Literature........................... Had I Known............................ by soughtout2013(op): 6:33pm On Jun 26, 2015
In an economic situation were graduates wait for years before earning a living. The hope of searching for other alternatives shows up. Some youths have made the outlets of newspaper vendors their permanent residence where political issues can be discussed, some engaged in all sort of illegal activities like drug pushing, child trafficking, robbery and many more. Crime has turned out to be the major business of each day as police records hundreds of illegal actions in the state.

Schen state, a state and city once known as centre of trade and entrepreneurship, where every occupant of the city is gifted with one talent or the other. A city once free from all sort of crimes and illegal actions. Graduates were able to get job instantly because government had made plans for that. Schen was rated the state with the best economy in 1988 by the world news station not until the state started facing crisis which started from the period the then president, kingston Pamena was overthrown through a military coup d'e tat in 1993 led by Major General Ashwab Genal who then became the military head of state. The state till date has been under the influence of the men in khaki who distabilised the peace and took away the franchise of the citizens of Schen. Western countries has tried to come to the rescue but were forced by military personnel.

Back then in University of Schen were trio brilliant friends Kuma, Stans and Greg. The trio studied petroleum engineering in the univeristy and graduated with a first class in 1993, with a fulfiled hope of getting an already provided job by the government led by Kingston Pamena. Truly, they were gainfully employed but not for long. Everyone working under the Kingston led administration were sacked by the ruling Major General Ashwab Genal including Kuma and friends. The hope of becoming a successful petroleum engineer started crippling.

Kuma Delma a 27 years old indigene of Schen state, Ohame local government area of the state, graduated from the University of Schen in 1993. Born into a family of four which includes Mr Delma, Mrs Delma, Kuma and Alans. Kuma's wish is to become a petroleum engineer right from secondary school because he had interest in things that has to do with drilling of the soil. Mr Delma, a retired soldier, sourcing for every means to cater for the need of the family ever since General Ashwab came into power. Mrs Delma, a petty trader, engaged in sale of petty commodities in other to assist the husband sustain the family. Alans the baby and last child in the family, 18 years of age, just graduated from secondary school and also aspirating to gain admission into the University of Schen to study chemical engineering since he has interest in testing chemical resources.

Ever since kuma was sacked from working with the government, everything had changed negatively. A young and vibrant youth of those days became a political thug who always discuss and argue on political issues at every newspaper vendors' shop. He became very popular as a lot of people nick named him political analyst of Schen city. Thoughts came to his regarding the next step to take in life because he can't end up like this.

Carried away in deep thinking, while the two eyes were opened, kumas father shouted his name continuously but didn't answer until he was tapped hard. Suddenly he became conscious again and a conversation ensued between the two. ' Kuma, have been watching you for days, you no longer eat and everytime you are always sitted at this same spot thinking and thinking, what is wrong with you?' Said kuma's father. ' At age 27 father, no job for me to earn a living with, its you and mummy that have been carrying the responsibilities of a graduate. Am tired father!' Kuma said. ' You don't need to be tired, don't allow your present situation weigh you down. There is always time for everything. As per responsibilities, myself and your mother are not complaining, so put yourself together and let's find solution instead of sitting down here and eating yourself up with thinking' said kumas father. ' Thank you for the encouragement father, I promise to gather myself together and find solution' kuma said. Both hugged emotionally in tears.

Sitted on a wooden chair and thinking about life experience, kuma started weeping about how his present status has made him lazy and unfruitful. Suddenly he vividly remembered Jerry de gun who was released from prison few years back and they met eat other again where they both needed to exchange numbers. ' He is now rich, famous and popular, imagine the dull and irresponsible jerry of then, now cruising in different form of cars, what a life!' He thought to himself. Few minutes later, another thought popped into his mind ' but kuma, can't you call to visit Jerry de gun if he can even help out or show you how he made his money!!! Hmmmm! That is a good idea, I need to call him. Enough is enough! I must also make it' he concluded in his heart as he picked up his phone to contact Jerry de gun.

Jerry de gun, leader of the gang, a student of University of Schen who has got himself engaged in different form of illegal actions. While in the university, he was raided by the police and sentenced to life imprisonment but was bailed out in months time due to the solid connections he had. Jerry de gun had been rusticated for years but still came back on campus to continue his normal lifestyle since no one dared to look at him facially. Jerry de gun has always been a fan of kuma as he was interested in initiating the brilliant and talented young man into his gang. Kuma resisted every form of call, meeting arrangement coming from the leader. Kuma prefers to sleep in his friends apartment to pass away time as the search for him became tightened up. Finally, Jerry de gun was apprehended by the police but this time he was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with hard labour.

Griririririri! Gririririri! The gun shot kept coming as kuma led a gang of robbers to loot a bank. ' Your heads down! Where's the bank manager' shouted kuma. A nervous cashier shouted ' the manager's office is by your right'. The manager was gripped with fear as he led the robbers to the strong room of the bank. ' If you all like, call the police, we will be waiting outside for them' said another gang member. The robbery was very fast and action filled. With kuma carrying a Russia kalashika Ak 47 which has the ability to keep on dispensing bullets till the round is exhausted. Another gang member was carrying an America machine gun while a self propeller was placed at the top of the jeep they came with. As they carted away the huge sum of money, customers, bankers and eye witness started weeping and making urgent calls.

The robbery would have been a success if they weren't barricaded by the military. Their third turning was a brain burster as they met one on one with the Schen army who were fully prepared for a shooting combat with the armed robbers. It was a battle of the fittest as the America machine gun was released and started to dispense the content in it. Houses and civilians were affected by the huge bullets coming out of the gun. The robbers took to different strategic positions to make sure they don't get hit likewise the army. The army also responded to their gunshots with an m4 rifle and bazooka which brought down the one of kuma's men. With great annoyance, kuma ran up to the self propeller gun at the top of the jeep and shot sporadically at the armored vehicle of the army leaving two soldiers dead instantly. At this point, the army felt they were loosing and decided to use a snipper gun to bring down the robbers. Kuma was given an hand shot as others died during the shoot out. Kuma was arrested while others were taken to the mortuary. Immediately Jerry de gun heard the news, he flew out of the state in search of safety as Schen wasn't safe for him to stay.

Arraigned before a judge, the defense and soliciting council were told to argue out and present proves of the dreadful armed robbery attack led by kuma. After perusing the documents presented before Justice Mnah Asigbe, he gave his judgement. ' Having heard from the defence and soliciting council who has tried to put reasons together, this is a big disgrace to our state, the fact that you were sacked from working with government, doesn't mean you should engage in illegal actions and robbery. You should have tried to be more creative as thousands of youths are making it through their respective handworks. My judgement is, Mr kuma Delma be killed through a firing squad till he gives up the ghost'. ' Arise' the court clerk shouted. With deep regret, kumas parents started weeping alongside his brother with his friends who came around when they heard about what happened to him.

The day came, it was time for kuma to be killed by a firing squad. Escorted by a black-maria and a soldier patrol van from the Abnes prison and taken to the bank of Egnes lagoon where criminals were been shot by the always ready regimental soldiers. Tied to a long pole, people gathered around to watch the killing of the notorious armed robber who shot dead two soldiers during a robbery attack. His parents and friends from a distance, weeping bitterly and shouting. Here comes the regimental soldeirs with their Russia Ak 47 rifle. Having around their heads, helmet attached with a piece of leaf and screaming dramatically. They got to their point of target and stood combatantly towards the direction of kuma. A pastor walked up to kuma and prayed for him and also asked if he had something to say. Kuma then flashed back to that day he made the misleading decision of his life in Jerry de guns mansion.

In a massively built mansion, painted in white colour, fully fenced with barbed wire, secured by giant imported dogs. The first view about this mansion is the ownership of the house. One would have thought the mansion belongs to one political office holder or official. The garage is filled with expensive and tempting cars of latest technology and designs. Is that all? No! The lovely swimming pool, gym centre and relaxation centre for people to meriment. The roofing looked like that of the power house of United State of America. ' Who do you seek' asked a tall and huge security. Then kuma knew he was out of the world previously and now back to the real world again. ' I came to see my friend Jerry de gun, we went to the same university and he told me to come and see him today' said kuma. Jerry de gun was contacted and he told the huge bouncer to step his friend in. Jerry sitted in a big and extended sitting sitting room filled with lovely sofa chairs and expensive illumination provider. Pleasantaries were exchanged as both had seen each other for long. Kuma began to narrate his hardship story and seeked for Jerrys' support. ' Realy don't have much to offer you and not sure if you can participate in what I engage in' said Jerry de gun. ' I don't mind whatever it may be I just want to earn money and build a massive mansion like yours and also have expensive cars. My parents have tried for me and I want them to also enjoy the fruit of their labour' kuma concluded. Hmmmm! Jerry sighed as he continues ' have heard everything you said, my occupation is quite known and don't know what your reaction will be like. I command a gang of robbers' Jerry uttered. In deep fear and shock, kuma couldn't say anything because he was scared of the reply to give. While thinking about what Jerry de gun said, he received a call from his father ' hello kuma' said kuma's father, ' hello daddy' replied kuma', ' your mother just had an accident and broke her two hands and one leg, she is presently in the hospital and the doctor said I should get a deposit of ¥1,000,000 before any operation can be carried out. Presently I don't know who to meet. Just wanted you to know so you can start coming home'. Kumas father said and hanged up the call. Tears became unstoppable for kuma. Jerry asked what was wrong which he narrated with tears in his eyes. This was how kuma got initiated and also engaged in robbery.

Days later, the head of state visited hospitals around to visit those who needed financial assistance for one medical treatment or the other. Mrs Delma was among the benefactors who enjoyed the financial assitance given by the general. With immediate effect, treatment started and she was operated. When kuma heard his mother was operated and now okay, it was too late for him to back out as he had already joined the clan of armed robbery.

At exactly 11am in the morning, kuma made his last statement ' to youths out there who believes in waiting for government to provide a job for them to earn a living, please don't wait again, start something handy to do. Don't ever allow your situation to take control of you just like mine did, had I known that this was how it's going to turn out to be, I woudn't have gone into it. But now its too late to start regreting my actions. To my loving parents, brother and friends, don't cry again because I brought this pain upon myself. I pray you all forgive me for my actions' kuma concluded as he closes his eyes. The next voice was the one of the commanding officer ' Attention! Weapons check! Go down flat! Aim at target'. The croud started weeping in great regrets as a talent of his nature will be wasted just like that. No amount of consolation could be done to the crying Mr and Mrs Delma and Alans. ' Fire' the commander gave his last order. With full courage, the soldiers shot at him till he stopped breathing. The commander confirmed that he was truly dead. The body was buried close to the lagoon just like the constitution had stated. This realy serve as a lesson to youths who don't have the spirit of waiting patiently when they face challenges. Kuma's story should teach everyone not to always give excuses for mistakes instead profer solutions to it.

Tick! Tock! The alarm on Ade's Lumia sounded continuously. 'It's 6:30 am' ade shouted as he jumped from his succulent bed been made by mouka foam with the best materials. With a short on, he quickly ran into the bathroom and stepped into the bathup forgetting the fact that his towel was left in the bedroom. Holy shit! He shouted as he hurriedly went to pick up the body cleaner from his room. With 30 seconds of brushing the teeth, and 3 minutes of bathing, he went straight to his wardrobe to pick up a white long sleeve, a bolt tie and a black trousers. After completely dressing up the body, he remembered his socks were dirty but had no choice than to put it on. Who cares! Under his bed where he kept all sort of shoes, he brought out the versace shoe he bought for fifteen thousand naira the last time he went to Abuja.

He was about leaving his apartment when a thought came to him about getting married ' hmmm, kunle is married with 3 children, bukky is married with 2 children, even wale who is our last born just got married last month, when will I get married? Well I don't want to rush as my miss right will come when she's ready' he murmured in his mind. Gam! The door sounded as he penetrated the key into the gam lock of the door and went off to take a bike to the well known Oshodi park.

Ade sobanjo, a 28 years old, indigene of Osun state, graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Accountancy. He graduated from O.A.U in 1996, immediately after his graduation, he went for NYSC in Edo state. Born into a family of six which included Mr Sobanjo, Mrs Sobanjo, Ade, Kunle, Bukky, Wale and Tinuke. Ade works with a giant mobile telecommunication company MTN Nigeria as the sales manager. Life has been so lovely and interesting for Sobanjo family because everyone in the family is into one occupation or the other. Ade has been sat down times without number by his parents to bring home a wife that will bear him children as age is not on their side. One of the meeting his parents had with him led to him leaving the home to rent an apartment around Olorunshogo axis of Lagos state because he felt his peace was disturbed.

He got to oshodi at 7:30 am, paid the bike man a sum of hundred naira and went ahead to the upper aspect of the bridge to board a bus going to Eko as his company is located close to the Onikan museum. Eko! Eko! Eko! Shouted the conductor as passengers hustled to make way into the commercial bus. ' Eko na 200 naira ooooo! Change no dey oooo' shouted the conductor as some passengers were hissing and abusing the illetrate conductor. After collecting his money and giving out change to passengers, the journey to Lagos started as some passengers were busy with their phones, some were busy gisting and chatting with other passengers but to Ade who was pretty late for work, he kept mute and remained focused to getting to work in time. Shortly, everyone started sleeping as the air started trooping into the bus via the windows, quite interesting but wasn't a nice one per say.

In a thick forest of different sounds been made by wild and weird animals, Ade and other passengers woke up hours later in it. Their hands were fully tied to different logs as they started screaming. Idea was lost as to the location of the forest. Light was provided through the aid of burning fire woods. They all became scared as no one was there to give reply regarding who brought them there and what business is been performed there. To Ade, it looked like a horror film he watched back then when he was in secondary school where a particular set of students were killed in a forest by ritualist and finally here comes four huge men and a a dwarf ritualist. Immediately he flashed back to his just remembered horror film. The huge men were putting on red and black accompanied with sun shade and also holding a cutlass. The most surprising aspect is the dwarf ritualist who is also on red and black, having a double cheeked tribal mark, a wig on his head and also a mace like staff by his right hand. This time around it was time for serious business.

Everyone started praying in their different languages including Ade. Its true that only the person putting on a shoe knows where it pains and also that people tend to know that God exist when temptation shows up. That is what their case has turned out to be. Suddenly the ritualist started placing an enchanted horn on their respective heads and made some incantations. He enchanted the first person and told one of the men to cut off the head and the private parts of the woman. In deep fear, others started crying and shouting as the first person was beheaded and her parts been amputated and cut off. The ritualist moved to the next person, enchanted him and also removal of his eyes, tongue, nipples and private organ. The weeping became unstoppable as all hope were lost to others in the jungle. It was just as if a rescue team could burst in and save them. The third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh victims were beheaded and not only beheaded but their hearts and livers were also removed.

Three more passengers to go including ade, the man enchanted ade and ordered for the hacking of his head, nipples and liver. As the man was about cutting it off, Ade shouted 'wait! Let me ask for forgiveness from God before murdering me', he then closed his eyes and started gesticulating. 'Behead him' shouted the ritualist. The cutlass was raised but suddenly gun shots were heard from a close range. The shots kept on coming continuously, 'stop there' said a police officer as they try to take to their heels, two of the kidnappers were shot dead while the remaining maintained their position. ' Drop the cutlass and place your hands on your head' said another police officer. ' Na una be pple wey dey kidnap and kill innocent pple for money rituals. God don catch una today' said another police officer. 'Garuba' said a senior officer, 'sir' answered officer garuba, ' untie these victims and handcuff these evil people' said the superior police office oficer. The hacked human parts were snapped and a rescue team was called in to check on the victims.

While in the hospital, Ade told his experience of the bloody monday he witnessed to his family members who sat close to him on the bed. 'What a bloody monday' he said while shaking his head dramatically.

Literature..............how I Wished I Never Accepted Him.......complete story by soughtout2013(op):
The morning was filled with brightness and was calling for a more fulfiling activities for this young lady named adeshewa translated as the crown of beauty who just newly gained admission into the university of harmsrite. Fortunately for her, she gained admission to study medicine and surgery in
the prestigious school through the aid of scholarship. The hope of becoming a better future personality rose and a dawn of hard work and sturdy ensued with limitless time to relent educationally.

University of harmsrite, an institution of epic and moral standard, a home for future genius. Having existing for eight decades, the institution still had in identification, solid educational and monumental buildings that every students and tourist will always glance at times without counting and won't hesitate to give an unreserving comments on the outskirt of the institution.

Here comes pretty adeshewa, fair in complexion, having a height of 3 feets and almost possesed a blonde hair that made her look different from a perfect nigerian, from the yoruba tribe. History truly doesn't lie about ife women and ladies of their potentialised beauty and self made attitude. Stepping out of her designated female hostel and walking elegantly to her Lecture building for the first lecture in the university of harmsrite got the attention of both male and female students in the university as everyone stired at her beauty without blinking the eyes. With strong focus and determination, she went ahead without reciprocating the sighting of those stiring.

Entering the class led to another dramatic display by male students who wanted her to sit close, but just as if the class monitor knew a special personality was coming in, a married chair and table was left un-sat on at the back of the class where she peacefully sat and tried to adjust her mini red gown for a portrait and simple style sit mode.

Anxiously waiting for the lecturer who is to take them cell theory, led to the advancing of this tall, sexy and good looking guy that every lady in the class couldn't get their eyes off him including shewa herself. A voice calls ' hello beauty, can I sit close to you', with a shallow smile on her face and chuckle, she said ' why not, feel free'. From that moment, an emotional tide joined adeshewa and tony together.

Tony oscar, 5 feets tall, huge and fair, a Nigeria born but brought up in England by his grandparents. Lost his parents in a plane accident at the age of thirteen. Every lady's dream is to have Tony a tall, handsome, caring, sweet tongue and loving guy as a friend, fiance and also husband. Months went by, the friendship relationship between adeshewa and tony kept on growing stronger that both couldn't do anything without seeing each other. Pathetic!! Did I just say pathethic? Yes! That's what the present case has turned into.

Wednesday, 24th of march, 1998, happened to be a day Adeshewa and Tony can never forget while still breathing on earth. Both nurturing this huge feelings in their respective hearts but engaged in a gambling of who will utter the word ' I love you' first. Hmmmm!! What a romantic moment. Always heard of human thoughts waking people up, realy was true in the aspect of adeshewa and tony. Both weren't able to sleep in their respective hostels as they were both gesticulating and meditating on how to put up the sweet words and drama. Finally the wind of eyes deeming blew both and they slept at the early hours of the day.

A rush hour for every student as they won't dare to miss the class for the morning. Shewa was in class before anyone could think of entering the class. Already sitted in a white ankle neck top which left the abdomen aspect of the body opened and a red mini skirt that drew everyones attention as they entered the class. Many were whispering about what she was on but with the I don't care attitude, she ignored all form of gossipings.

Oh! Ma! Wao! Wondering the shoutings right! Yes! Here comes the handsome tony who has got all the girls fighting and hating adeshewa in a suited navy blue material and a lincoln shoe accompanied with a tinted sun shade. Shewa's heart almost jumped into her mouth and almost chewed it. Did I just say that? Hmmm! He moved majestically just like a groom coming to pick the bride towards adeshewa and suddenly knelt down and proposed to her saying ' I LOVE YOU ADESHEWA' ' WILL YOU DATE ME'. Wao the whole class got grimased and she couldn't say anything for minutes. Of a sudden, she started weeping and screaming ' YES I WILL'. Wao! Everyone in the class started clapping and screaming. It was the begining of true love for both parties as different love events started shocasing till they graduated from university of harmsrite and got married few years later.
Their wedding ceremony had in attendance prestigious government parastatals, colleagues, family relatives and so on.

Darwin's Event centre was filled with family relatives of both adeshewa and tony oscar, friends from global sphere of life which include general raymond donald, a one time head of state in Nigeria, prof kelvin awk a professor in university of harmsrite, his excellency, bryan myth, governor of Argons state and many more. The couple were told to sign a lot of documents and wedding procedures, take pictures and undergo different procedures for the conjugal bliss. What a lovely day for the just wedded couple.
Life as married couple commenced immediately after the wedding event. They made preparations to move to nigeria for a new begining of life. Lagos state, the centre of excellence, the centre piece of trading and investment. The out skirt of this state is lovely that viewing it from the aspect of the MMIA down to Ikeja axis gives you a hope of a fulfiling existence.

Every necessary arrangements has been made by the parents of the couple and a house worth a whooping sum of fourty five million naira was bought on behalf of the just wedded couple for their habitation. Tony had always wanted adeshewa to be a full house wife and also home maker, so he made sure everything was financially put in placed.

On this lovely-sad day, tony received an urgent call to travel to abuja and had to book a flight to Abuja for a business trip. Adeshewa, a young woman who's planning of having the best family ever with lovely kids never knew that would be the last day she was going to see her husband. Tony oscar boarded one of the best airline in the country owned by egmond airline. Adeshewa took her husband to the airport and waited till he was checked in, and the plane took off.

On getting home to rest and make a cup of tea to drink, she tuned the television to a well known station channels television and to her greatest surprise it was a breaking news of a plane crash landing and the relatives of the passengers on board were told to come and identify their bodies. It was the same plane her husband boarded to Abuja for the business trip. Dumpounded and shocked! She couldn't shout nor say anything and fainted of a sudden. It took the grace of a friend who came around to visit her and found her lying on the floor unconciously and took her to the hospital.

Immediately she regained her consciousness, she told her friend to follow her to the mortuary where the bodies where placed to confirm. On getting there, Tony's body was found and she started to weep seriously without stopping. Family relatives came around after hearing the sad news. Tears kept on rolling from adeshewa's eyes even up till the day he was buried.

15th of july, 2006 was a sad day for Adeshewa as her late husband is been laid to rest in peace. The undertakers dug the ground and droped the coffin into the six feet ground, people were told to shovel sand and pour on it. Adeshewa was the first to start, followed by the relatives of the deceased and friends. To round up the burial event, Relatives, friends, well wishers were told to write and say things about the deceased, with tears rolling from everyones eye, they said lovely things about tony.

Suddenly Adeshewa shouted ' I wished never accepted him the day he proposed to date mein the university, he never told me he was going to leave me this early, Tony this wasn't the agreement we had back then!!! Why did you do this to me?!!!. With continuous tears, they all left the cementary. Hmmm! She vowed not to marry again and remained a single woman until death took her away.
