Hello VO,
My b1/b2 visa is expiring on the 19th and I intend traveling on the 15th. It's an emergency travel plan and renewing will take some time. Am I allowed to travel?

In all the few western countries that I have either stayed or visited... minors are not and will not be required to pay tuition!!... Canada however will not be an exception... I have friends with kids who attend schools in Canada and they do not pay tuition ooo!!!

There is a part of cic website that clearly states that your tuition is free from kindergarten to end of secondary.. .... The only exception are the private schools...
I am certain without doubt that the school you attached herein is private....
I have information that the Catholic and Baptist schools are somewhat the best cos they help the children maintain their morals and values.... Those are also FREE!!!
You will not be required to pay tuition until you are progressing into a post secondary institution !!!
I hope I have tried? ... grin
you have more than tried!!! Thanks very much!

@folaroyal @michv @lovetrumps @mikymiko @thesoj please I need help confirming this. Do minors of international students attend public school for free or do they pay tuition. Someone just told me that it's costs about 10-12000 for elementary and secondary international students o. It's scary cos they live in Canada and I've not heard this before. They even sent this

Once you include your child in a joint application for study permit; you will fill another 'study permit' form for your child!
You will sure indicate on the form that the minor child will accompany you..
It is only allowed that " for a minor accompanying a person identified as a temporary visitor on work or study permit, a letter of acceptance from schools or institution is NOT required"
So please follow that line.... It's only left to you to prove financial capability to support your accompanying child without recourse to public funds.
Regards.
ok, so that means study permit fees as well for the minor right? Thanks for the response

Thanks All..(I won't mention names cos it may just not contain this page)...... Na family affairs ... In here, we share the joy of approvals and the pain of delays together!!!
We are one... We'll continue without giving up until we achieve.
It's been nice waiting together.
I know the drill... I'll share all required info/docs soon.
Meanwhile... @Mikymiko is a wizard ooo... he said yesterday evening... Open your CIC account tcheck your approval.. I only read his message smiling!!
With regards.
A big congrats on your approval! i need your help please. Just like @lovetrumps I will be taking my child along. The cic website information is a bit confusing, that minor whose parents have been issued a work/study permit doesn't need a study permit IF they are in Canada already. I'm really confused. Should I fill a study permit form or just merely indicating we will be going together when filling the form will suffice?

How do I tackle this now. Please help. I clearly stated she had no on to take care of her in my letter of explanation.

C.c. @justwise please can you give me the contact of anyone who can assist me or who has gone through such
I am so sorry about the denial! It must be heart breaking and I can't imagine! I'm also planning to take my child along and I pray it gets sorted out in good time! Don't worry too much please. #virtualhug

Hello good people! A job well done to all the awesome helpers in the house. God shall bless you abundantly! I came across this and thought to share with the house. If we take our time to read it might help our situation. It explains how visa officers should process study permit application outside of Canada and Inland. https://irancanada2003.files./2007/08/op12.pdf
