Both are equally pretty. Ash is overrated because of her eye color; otherwise, her features are not anymore spectacular than Rani. Seriously.

Most of the MBGN winners are physically beautiful and only a few should never have been allowed to put in an application.

Agbani deserved to win hands down. Her features and the proportion of her face are impeccable. Go and see the youtube clip of her winning moment and the subsequent ovation mag photo shoot in London. Elegant, tall, almost unreal. That's how I like beauty queens: they should look unattainable.

IMO, the ultimate test of a true beauty queen is what she looks like after the passage of time and that is why Nike Oshinowo, Bianca Ojukwu, and Regina Askia are the top three, for now of course. I would not disparage the younger queens because only time will tell if they are true beauties or just a flash in the pan.

Nike Oshinowo remains a flawless beauty and I am basing this on her physical beauty alone and not inner beauty. IMO she is the only Nigerian queen and celebrity whose physical presentation is a perfect 10. Hair done. Nails done. Body fit. Face on point (no pancake face and no bleaching). Clothes off the hook.

Given her age, passage of time, child birth, Bianca is still beautiful. However, I have a bone to pick with this queen. Why in heavens sake is she bleaching and her personal styling is somewhat tacky. For most recent pictures go to class magazine website, which has pictures of her and her old man at an event in their honor. I would rank her after Nike O. b/c her personal styling and bleaching.

Regin Askia is also keeping up and has maintained in spite of time, age, child birth, and personal struggles. Her eye color is lovely as is her figure.

Ultimately, all these ladies are beauties.

Has anyone considered that Clifford Orji and his accomplice may have undiagnosed mental illness? I do not think this is an issue of whether some tribe is cannabalistic or not. Jeffrey Dhamer, an American, cannabalized his victims, but that does not make his fellow Americans cannabals or does it? Just my two cents.

No Igbo family is complete without one Nkechi, one Nneka, an at least one Emeka. I went to a house warming an there were 12 females their named Nneka and 8 Nkechis, and it was not a large party. I am not saying these are not nice names with deep meanings, but I would like to see some variety and creativity. Just a thought.

I checked the web and discovered that Halle Berry has had a nose job, brow lift, and check liposuction. So naturally, she should look good at age 40 with all that plastic surgery. All of Hollywood has gone under the knife. I must say though that she got nice results from the surgery.

If u bothered to read what I wrote I said that I did not agree with the idea that Alek Wek is ugly. Do I think she is a conventional beauty, no I do not. And I do not care whether u met her or not. As for the word racist, it was u that brought that word into the exchange.

U need to go and find out the true meaning of racism before you say that I am insinuating that people are racist b/c they find Halle beautiful. That is absurd.

Given the recent threads on this Nairaland forum, I have come to the conclusion that color, race, nationality, ethnicity are burning issues here. For example, there is a 2-years old thread comparing dark-skinned people to light-skinned people. Given this focus, I wanted to know what motivated individuals to choose one woman over the other. Of course, choices can be based on nothing other than mere preference and anyone could have simply said that.

As for your last question, I will answer it. NO, I do not believe Halle Berry would be considered beautiful if she were as dark as Alek Wek. Just as most people do not find Alek Wek to be beautiful because of her color even though I strongly disagree with this belief. I have heard men say such vicious things about Alek Wek's color that it almost brought me to tears on one occassion.

No one would even notice Halle Berry if she were as dark as Alek Wek. She would not receive the kind of exposure that she has today. No one would probably be only on one cover of one major magazine (like Alek Wek). No one would make her a leading actress in a feature film. We would all be asking Halle who?

The advantage that Alek Wek has is that she is extremely tall and even if one wanted to ignore her, they could not. There will always be a place for her in high fashion. Halle Berry is short and if she were short she would be I-N-V-I-S-I-B-L-E. At least this is what short, dark-skinned Black women tha I know tell me. I disagree with how the world views color and Black people generally, but this is the reality. I am sorry if it hurts.

Beyonce is a beautiful girl as is all the other ladies that were posted. The Creater did not just make one person beautiful. I know its difficult to accept that she gets alot of shine, but she is also very talented and driven. I don't agree w/ how she dealt with her original crew though and that is why I don't buy her music.

Van Vick is Certified Fine, but I hated the character he played in Beyonce.

Quick question? Do u all think these celebrities wear "regular" makeup or are they doing something extre like wearing theater makeup b/c one should not look so drastically different when they take off their makeup. Like Beyonce really doesn't look that different without her makeup. She still looks like her pretty self. Her beauty is enhanced with makeup and makeup is not used to create beauty for her.

The celebrities that are naturally pretty without makeup are:

2. Beyonce
3. Lindsey Lohan (a natural born beauty; reminds me of the young Priscilla Presley).

As for your question, I think Halle Berry is physically beautiful as she is because she has lovely features AND NOT BECAUSE OF HER COLORING. Her face is very balanced and symmetric. That is how I judge facial beauty: balance and symmetry. Naturally, clear, even-toned skin enhances beautiful features and Halle has that (underneath all the makeup and airbrushing). These are the very same reasons that I think Genny is pretty. Her balanced features and clarity of skin is amazing. However, I do think both women are a bit overblown as are most celebrities. They take a hot shit just like anyone else. For example, I think Naomi Campbell is the most stunning woman that I have ever seen, but I know that my opinion is probably a bit overblown. I used to think that the sun rose and set on Tyson Beckford, but now he's just another attractive man. I think Brad Pitt is hot as hell, but if he weren't THEBRAD PITT and I saw him at the grocery store would I really give a shit. Probably not. Again, all these celebrities have one thing in common symmetry and balance to their faces.

Why is it a shameful thing for a woman to wear makeup? Making up is as old as time. By the way, does Halle Berry, Beyonce, and all these so-called beautiful celebrities leave their mansions without makeup? Why the hell should average women then!?

Everyone including men, look better with makeup. This does not mean that the person without it is ugly, they are just more enhanced with makeup.

This thread needs to be directed to people who wear thick, layered, heavy makeup.

For all those putting down Genny, have u considered that Halle has way more money and resources (i.e., beauticians, makeup artists, personal trainer, hair stylist, etc) to make herself look good. Also, Halle has had a nose job.

A close examination of the two women shows that they both have the same features.

I personally think Genny is facially more beautiful. The symmetry of her face is amazing. I am saying this based not on still pictures, but on watching her in movies.

Of course, b/c the world is racist Halle's skin color will always give her an edge.
