Politics / Political Parties And Stakeholders Of Ondo South Endorse Sowore by Sowore42019: 7:29am On Jan 07, 2019
Presidential Candidate of the Africa Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has met with political parties and stakeholders of Ondo South Senatorial zone, his home base.
At the meeting, he urged them, along with others Nigerians to do the right thing at the polls to truly experience a New Year.
“This time around, this is going to be a new year for us if we do the right thing. We are all united today here because of our country Nigeria. Don’t get edgy if we are talking about problems created by other political parties. You are entitled to join political parties. It’s your constitutional right. And if you join a political party and you discover that the political party is not delivering don’t feel guilty about that. Feel free to go the path of honour by joining personalities when you cannot find parties that carry forward your aspirations of a better country”.
“You must have watched a lot of movies about Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Malcolm X but sometimes you don’t know that your own Nelson Mandela is in your house because you ignore them when they show traits of these same individuals”.
One of the stakeholders Reverend Gbenga Akinrogunde said “for some time now I have been following you. I have listened to many of your talks and interactions. I’ve seen most of your videos where you get out of your car in hold up and you talk to people and it has stirred me. I want to encourage you. For you to be a courageous leader of this magnitude, this is the person our heart should work for”.
Victor Abiodun from Okitipupa who is also convener of Ikale Advancement movement said: “I am a living witness to his(Sowore’s) struggle for a better country.
“On August 1, 4th and 15th with Sowore we took to the street to protest the lack of electricity in Ore after which it was restored. I have no doubt he will be a good leader”.
Chief Thompson Akam from Ese Odo ward one said: “I have assessed you several times even in your community. You were able to convince me about your aims and goals and I wish you the best. Please remember those of us that helped get you there when you do”.

Politics / Sowore Kicks Against Exclusion From Presidential Debate, Blast Channels TV, BON, by Sowore42019: 11:00pm On Dec 11, 2018
Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has blasted the Organisers of the Presidential Debates which is set to hold on the 14th of January 2019.
The Nigerian Elections Debate Group and the Broadcasting Organisations had in a statement signed by Mr. Eddi Emesiri announced the participating parties as “Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), All Progressives Congress (APC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Young Progressives Party (YPP)”.
Mr. Sowore in a rejection of the selection on his twitter handle @yelesho said “first they excluded @aacparty from the signing of Peace Agreement &Memorandum of understanding by Presidential Candidates & Party Chairmen in Abuja today, just emerged also they don’t want me to participate in the presidential debates, they claim I am out of control and may spill what I know about this oldies publicly during debates. These old guards still don’t get it!”.
He condemned the organizers for presenting to Nigerians a streamlined number of political parties thereby denying access to others as guaranteed by the Nigerian Media Code of Election Coverage which states that “the government shall abide by institutional, regulatory and legal frameworks requiring equitable access to State media by parties and candidates contesting elections”.
The code which was adopted on the 30th of October 2014 binds all media organizations including the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria.
Some Nigerians have reacted to the exclusion including #EndSars movement convener, @Segalink tweeting “they made a mistake with the listing. It would have been more interesting to have @YeleSowore included in this. There are five here and it could very well have been six. One will certainly be absent.
@Alatenumo tweeted “I expected @obyzeks and @feladurotoye and Kingsley to Speak out and ask for Yele’s inclusion. Injustice happens when men and women of goodwill stay silent”.

Politics / Sowore's Supporters Arrested By Lagos CP For "Pasting Posters". by Sowore42019: 6:10pm On Dec 09, 2018
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested six supporters of Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC).

The Police accused them of breaching the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency laws by pasting posters at night and damaging campaign posters belonging to candidates of other political parties.

However, Olagokun Banwo, popularly known as 'Proficient', who led the team, denied damaging posters of other political parties.

Speaking on the incident, Banwo said: "We were arrested for pasting Sowore's posters, but we didn't tear posters of any other party. How can we, who are part of those calling for the arrest of those damaging campaign posters, go about committing the same offence?"

When contacted, Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos Command, CSP Chike Oti, maintained that the six are guilty of breaching Lagos signage law and removing posters of other political parties and candidates.

"The anti-crime patrol team of the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja Division, around 2:30am on December 9, 2018, arrested six young men, namely: Olagokun Odunayo, Kool-Kloud Henry, Ugaju Joseph, Damilola Omidiji, Michael Kate and Banwo Olagokun, tearing posters of other political parties and replacing them with that of the African Action Congress. Their action is contrary to the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency laws that forbid advertisers from pasting posters at no other hour than the day time," he said.

The six persons are still in custody and the Lagos Police PRO maintained that they will be charged to court.

Speaking on the arrest via his Twitter handle, Sowore wrote: “I just spoke with the DPO of Area F and he shockingly revealed that the Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal ordered that our supporters be kept in detention for pasting my posters. Mr. Edgar hasn’t been reachable since”.

Sowore, a pro-democracy campaigner and human rights activist, has called for their immediate release from detention.

The Police Commissioner could not be reached at the time of filing this report.

Politics / Sowore Accuses APC, PDP Of Spending Beyond N1bn Threshold At Primaries- Channels by Sowore42019: 11:42am On Dec 03, 2018
The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Mr Omoyele Sowore, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of already spending beyond the threshold for presidential election.

Sowore, 47, made the allegation during his appearance on Channels Television political flagship programme, Sunday Politics.

He alleged that the parties went beyond the threshold for the election during their primaries and accused them of not being transparent with how they spend money.

“They have already spent a billion naira during primaries, or more,” the presidential hopeful claimed.

“What they spent in Port Harcourt alone was $25 million in one day. All the Bureau de Change operators in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja all relocated to Port Harcourt.”

Sowore Accuses APC, PDP Of Spending Beyond N1bn Threshold At Primaries
Omoyele Sowore speaks during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics on December 2, 2018.
Having made the claims, Sowore was countered by Channels Television political correspondent, Seun Okinbaloye, who asked him how true his allegations were.

The presidential candidate insisted that they were facts and not mere allegations.

He said, “I am an investigative reporter before I came into this job of running for office and I can tell you that they are not allegations. They are proven, we have evidence of them doing it (and) they haven’t disputed them by the way.”

“You know that governors are stealing from their states to buy campaign vehicles; otherwise, let them tell us – the APC and PDP how they are raising funds for the election because none of them has done any funder raiser known to anybody since we started the election circle,” Sowore added.

He, thereafter, called for transparency on the part of the political parties and asked Nigerians to hold them to account.

On the other hand, Sowore explained how his campaign group was raising funds to finance his ambition of becoming president in 2019.

He said they opened an account with a commercial bank in the country where they have raised about N39 million, as well as a crowdfunding platform where they have raised more than $103,000.

The journalist challenged other presidential candidates to come forward and explain to Nigerians how they have been raising funds for their campaigns.

On his mantra of ‘Take It Back’, he said, “We are taking this country back from the people who ruined it. People who ruined our past should not be rewarded with managing our future because they are taking us nowhere.”

With 75 days to the general elections, Sowore decried that Nigerians were being exposed to just two candidates whom he described as “incompetent and clueless”.

He, however, called on the people to focus more on the other candidates whom he said were better, younger, more energetic and willing to lead the nation.

Sowore went ahead to discuss some aspects of his manifesto and plans to tackle the challenges facing the nation.

He proffered solutions to the energy and power sector, stressing that Nigeria has not tapped into its enormous potentials of creating enough power for the economy to thrive.

Politics / Sowore Visits Daura, Exposes Bad Roads, Lack Of Power. by Sowore42019: 8:31am On Nov 29, 2018
Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has tasked Nigerians to vote based on competence and capability rather than on tribe, ethnicity or religion.

He made this known when he visited Daura in Katsina State on Sunday, as part of the SoworeRufai2019 campaign organisation's 100-city tour.

While in Daura, Sowore bemoaned the lack of infrastructure in the twon.

His words: “This is Daura, the hometown of the President, but as you can see the roads are terrible, there is no electricity, people are poor here, the street lights don’t work and people here have welcomed us as you can see.

"This is why Nigerians should vote capacity and competence, rather than ethnicity and religion. It doesn’t matter if the person is your own; if he cannot deliver, he cannot deliver."

He called on Nigerians to unite in their quest for good governance for the people, irrespective of the section, tribe or religion, in order for the country to move forward.

Sowore was accompanied on the visit by Dr. Rabiu Ahmed Rufai, the AAC vice-presidential candidate.

The 100-city tour, which kicked off on November 22, has so far reached Lagos, Abuja, Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states.

Politics / Youths Must Take Over Jobs, Leadership Positions – Sowore by Sowore42019: 3:09pm On Nov 27, 2018
LAGOS —PRESIDENTIAL Candidate of African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has indicated his readiness to take over Aso Rock come 2019, saying it is time youths gear up to take positions.
Sowore made the declaration last Thursday, while addressing supporters who received him at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, as he officially commenced his campaign rally and tour of 100 cities across Nigeria with grassroot mobilisation strategies for the upcoming presidential election.
The founder, Sahara Reporters, Sowore, who unveiled his campaign jingles and posters at the rally restated his youth-oriented party agenda, announcing that it was “time to send the old-guard politicians on retirement and make jobs available for the young Nigerians and graduates upon leaving schools.”
He said: “Today is the beginning of our own official campaign on our way to the presidential villa, next year. Nigerians are tired of the same old set of people that play politics of bitterness. We are going to take this country back from them and it is high time graduates in this country occupied positions in places like NNPC, Central Bank of Nigeria and other high places. Those jobs should not be reserved for the children of politicians, while trader-moni is reserved for your mothers and brothers.”
He also talked about accessibility to quality healthcare system that would put an end to health tourism by the ruling class in the country.

Politics / Reject N-power, Trader-moni For Jobs In NNPC, CBN - Sowore by Sowore42019: 12:35pm On Nov 27, 2018
The Presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has urged Nigerians to reject the N-Power and Trader Moni of All Progressives Congress (APC) for jobs in better sectors in the country. Sowore lamented that while politicians reserve jobs in Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) among others for their children and relatives, they are going about distributing Trader-Moni to the masses.

“It is time for the masses to get jobs not through N-power but in NNPC and CBN,” he charged when he arrived the country from the U.S.

“These jobs should not be reserved for the children of politicians while Trader-Moni is reserved for your mothers and brothers.”

Sowore posited that the country would be a better place for all if its leaders had the interest of the people at heart, adding that it was time to hand over the baton of leadership to those with vision.

He noted, “It is time to take this country from those who have destroyed it. As we know, Nigerians are tired of the same old set of people who play politics of bitterness. As a revolutionary movement and a political party, we are determined to take this country from those who have destroyed Nigeria and give it back to people who are ready to make a success of the future of Nigeria. It is not by accident that people who are leading our movement are the young people of Nigeria, who have been left behind by the legacy political parties. Whether they are PDP or APC, we are putting an end to their reign come next year.”

According to him, the current crop of politicians has proven to be deficient in all spheres, hence the need for the change of governance, saying the country is in dire need of leaders who have understanding and practical approach to the many challenges it is facing.

“We cannot continue to vote people who continue to spend the country’s money on medical trips abroad because there are tired and ought to have retired, he stated. “They cannot continue to manage the affairs of the country for another four years. Some people are even saying we should wait for another four years, but I am sorry, we don’t have four more years to wait. In fact, we should have done this four years ago, and by now, be talking about second tenure. Since we didn’t do so last time, now is the time to retire Buhari back to Daura. Now is the time to retire Atiku, who is supposed to be a retired custom officer. It is time for him to go back to his village as well.”

He lamented that Buhari’s government could not meet the demands of N30, 000 minimum wage while they earn huge sums of money from tax-payers.

“You can imagine, the people who are saying they cannot pay the N30, 000 minimum wags are earning N14 million per annum. If you earn N30, 000 per month, you have needed to work for 35 years to earn N14 million. Their children are going to school abroad with our own money. It is time to demand our rights; enough is enough!”

Politics / 2019: As Campaigns Start, Ezekwesili, Sowore Warn Against Voting Buhari, Atiku by Sowore42019: 7:43am On Nov 20, 2018
As President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar launched their presidential campaigns Sunday and Monday respectively, two of their rivals have warned against choosing either of the two veterans.

Omoyele Sowore of the African Action Congress (AAC) and Oby Ezekwesili of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) described the two front runners as failed participants in Nigeria’s democratic history.

According to a statement on Monday, Mr Sowore spoke while addressing Nigerians in Diaspora at a town hall meeting and fundraiser organised by his campaign group, #TakeItBack Movement, at the Christ International Community Church, Columbus, Ohio, United States of America.

He warned Nigerians to be cautious of the “fake promises and documents which will be used by some candidates to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians.

Mr Sowore, who is seeking elective office for the first time in Nigeria, said as the campaigns start officially, he would allow the opposition lead while he catches up when he returns to Nigeria.

“Today in Nigeria is the beginning of the campaigns for the elections that will be happening next year…I am supposed to be back home but the truth is we are dealing with two old men if we are going to start the race is better to let them start first and when I return to Nigeria I can always catch up,” Mr Sowore said.

He urged Nigerians to be wise in their choice because the leaders who have put many Nigerians in pains are the same clamouring for their votes.

”They did an event and launched what they called Next Level, but Nigerians are very creative people who can see through all that, they have already done a lot of cartoons which shows President Buhari Blindfolded and his followers following to fall over a cliff and they said that is the Next Level.

”They said the same thing about Atiku with a cartoon where everyone following him was holding on to their wallets, you know what that means.

“Those who are positioning themselves to lead Nigerians today, are the same people who caused Nigerians pains and sorrow that Nigeria is in today,” he said.
Mr Sowore urged Nigerians “do the right thing by freeing yourselves of your oppressors who have no fresh ideas or capacity to solve Nigeria’s problems which they created.”

Mrs Ezekwesili also spoke on Monday but in Abuja, urging Nigerians not to resign to low standards by voting for parties like the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC).

She said the mistakes of previous PDP administrations were being repeated by President Buhari of the APC.

“Sometimes it is hard to believe Nigeria’s greatness in the midst of our daily struggles, and as we watch our country repeat the same mistakes over and over again, it is hard to remember the contributions our country has made for freedom and peace across the African continent,” Mrs Ezekwisili said.

“I cannot stand it when we choose to accept mediocrity or resign ourselves to lowly standards. Nigeria can do much better. I care about Nigeria and Nigerians enough to know that the back-to-back failed leadership has held us back for far too long, and if we do not take a stand and take our country back, they would still be here in years to come, holding back our children and their children. God forbid!”

The former Minister of Education assured Nigerians she would fulfill her electoral promises, adding that a situation where elected candidates deny their promises was bad for Nigeria’s growth.

“The APC campaigned in 2015 on a manifesto that propagated the doctrine of restructuring. President Buhari went along with it every step of the way because it is all about getting into power for him.

”He won and then began to renege on his promises, including on restructuring. He suddenly remembered all the reasons why ‘structure is not the problem’ with Nigeria.

“I want to reignite belief in Nigeria’s greatness by leading a government that would make clear promises to citizens and deliver on them, not like the current leadership which spent its first year in office denying all the promises it made to get into that office,” she said.

She furthered accused Mr Buhari of placing a lesser value on the lives of Nigerians, warning that Nigerians need to vote for a candidate who would make their well-being a priority.

The former Vice-President of World Bank explained that Nigeria’s current federal structure was not working and recommended a review.

“Entire communities and even local government areas in this country have been driven into hunger and poverty, as their sources of livelihoods are completely wiped out due to insecurity. The value of a Nigerian life has been devalued and cheapened,” she said.

“The structure of a federation is its skeleton. A functional structure gives shape, support, and aids the movement of the federation. No wonder Nigeria is handicapped under this dysfunctional structure,” she said.

She recalled that the APC before the last elections agreed on the need to restructure the federation and devolve more powers to the regions and states. She added.

Politics / Buhari, Atiku Are Failed Participants In Nigeria's History, Says Sowore by Sowore42019: 1:45pm On Nov 19, 2018
Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has berated the candidature of President Muhammadu Buahri and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, stating that the choice between Buhari and Atiku is one "between failed participants in Nigeria’s democratic history".

He made the statement while addressing Nigerians in the Diaspora at a town hall meeting and fundraiser organised by the #TakeItBack Movement at the Christ International Community Church, Columbus, Ohio.

In his address, Sowore warned the public to be cautious of fake promises and documents which will be used by some candidates to deceive unsuspecting Nigerian.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced that campaigns for presidential and National Assembly elections would begin on Sunday, November 18, 2018.
Noting that Nigerians deserve better leaders, Sowore said: “They did an event and launched what they called 'Next Level', but Nigerians are very creative people who can see through all that. They have already done a lot of cartoons which show President Buhari blindfolded and his followers following him over a cliff and they said that is the 'Next Level'. They said the same thing about Atiku with a cartoon, where everyone following him were holding onto their wallets; you know what that means.

“Those who are positioning themselves to lead Nigerians today, are the same people who caused Nigerians pains and sorrow that Nigeria is in today."

Using Biblical analogy, he added that “we have a Barabbas situation on our hands, where there is a young man who did what is right for 19 years and there are two old men who did what is wrong for their entire lives, and people are asked to choose and some of our people are saying they want Barabbas. They do not want a leader who can take Nigeria to glory. They want one of the thieves, but this is not the situation with all of our people.

“Nigerians want a better option; they want someone who can take Nigeria and make it climb out of poverty, hopelessness, and economic and political depression over this years.”

Sowore called on Nigerians to “do the right thing by freeing yourselves of your oppressors who have no fresh ideas or capacity to solve Nigeria's problem which they created".

Politics / (photos) 2019 Elections: Go On, J. J. Rawlings Tell Sowore. by Sowore42019: 9:25pm On Aug 14, 2018
Former Ghanaian Head of State and President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings has called on Nigerian Presidential Aspirant to go ahead, whatever the outcome in his electoral bid because he has demonstrated youthful power and has shown that Nigeria has alternatives.
Rawlings made the statement while receiving members of the #take it back movement led by Nigerian 2019 Presidential aspirant and Activist, Omoyele Sowore at his office in Ridge, Accra, Ghana.
He said Nigeria alone commands 35 to 40% of Africa’s political power but regretted that the Nigerian leadership had so far been unable to utilize that power.
Mr. Sowore said at the meeting that he had come to the respected leader to let him know that “your next door neighbor, Nigeria is about to experience a revolution with the emergence of young leaders in 2019”.
He noted that his news website, Sahara Reporters had consistently exposed corrupt politicians but he realized that the media alone cannot change Nigeria but people who were ready to go all the way.
Responding, Rawlings said that he felt Sowore was best suited to continue his bold exposures on corruption. He went on to say the people of Nigeria couldn’t take the rot and corruption anymore when they voted for change in 2015.
“Pretty much like what’s happening in your country, people just got sick and tired and gave their vote to Buhari. It’s so unfortunate though that President Buhari’s government couldn’t fight the rot without ambushing the cost of living of the people”.
Whiles acknowledging the complexities within the Nigerian socioeconomic and geopolitical environment, he added that President Buhari’s government could have employed some intelligent flexibility; “how do you fight corruption without allowing it to affect the cost of living in the country,” he said.
He stated that African leaders don’t teach their people defiance to put leadership in check but rather they disempower them.
He advised the presidential hopeful to approach the issue of corruption with caution because Nigerians may dismiss him because “even if this clean man (Buhari) couldn’t fight corruption, what about him?”.
At the meeting, the former President advised Sowore to carefully think about his ambition adding that it was going to be difficult not because of money politics but because some Africans tend to sometimes fall in love with their oppressors.

Family / Re: "My Wife Wants To Bring Her 7-Year-Old Girl She Had Before We Met To My Home" by Sowore42019: 2:21am On Aug 06, 2018
NairalandFAYOSE:
pardon my blunders.
I was aware she has a baby before we met but still continued the relationship because the baby is with the father. she told me it was a mistake and the guy's family doesn't support their relationship. so they went their different ways while the guy kept the baby.

when we started, I found out she's humble, hardworking and she's everything I ever wanted in a woman. so we got married 4 years ago and have a 3 year old son and 2 beautiful twins (just 3 months old).

now the problem started when she went to church and her ex brought her 7 years old daughter unannounced. that he's married now and can't continue taking Care of the girl.
she called me from church and told me. immediately I told her not to bring a child thats not mine to me. she now took the baby to her mom and came home to meet me with my kids.
she has been begging me since to allow the baby in our home because the mother gave her 3 days to come and take her baby from her.

nairalanders pls I need your advice on this. those it make sense that I take the baby while the father is out there enjoying his life.
You are complaining of finances, what if her coming is the opening of doors for you in the Spiritual realm? Be wise. Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

Politics / We Don't Need Analog Leaders Anymore-omoyele Sowore by Sowore42019: 2:41pm On Jul 29, 2018
Nigerians have been asked to congratulate themselves for taking action against the old political order and not waiting until they are old before they get a Nigeria of their dreams.
The statement was made by Presidential hopeful Omoyele Sowore while addressing crowds of supporters at the last day of the #take it back North West tour in, Kalambaina Sokoto, yesterday.
He said its not about not to young to run but also about “too old to run because anyone who is old enough should let Nigeria be so that it can progress at a pace that it should” adding that a country that has about 70% of its youths below the age of 30 had no business been run by people with analog brains.
Sowore said the countries that just won the concluded world cup, France and Croatia are both countries with young presidents stating that it is no accident that countries with young presidents do great things.
He bemoned the poor state of Arugungu in Kebbi state which he visited before Sokoto saying that it is disgraceful that a site which used to be a place of great national pride for Nigerians had now fallen to utter ruin and disrepair. Politics / Vote Competence, Character And Capability In 2019- Omoyele Sowore by Sowore42019: 8:27am On Jul 29, 2018
Nigerian youths have been urged to stop voting politicians who do not have their interest at heart and start voting based on character, competence and capability.
The call was made by Presidential Aspirant Omoyele Sowore at a sensitization conference and lecture organized by the Kebbi State branch of the #take it back movement which held at City Guest Inn Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
In his address, he faulted politicians who send their children to choice schools abroad while confining the children of the poor to Almajiri schools. He further clarified saying “i am not insulting any religion but I am insulting those who use religion to destroy Nigeria”.
Also speaking at the event, State Coordinator take it back movement Kebbi, Abdul Majid Musa promised to deliver Kebbi State to the presidential aspirant. He added that the green and white on the Nigerian flag was missing hence the urgent need to take it back.
Guest speaker at the event and INEC Head of Public affairs, Kebbi State Adamu Musa said that because continuous voter registration will end on the 17th of August 2018, he is urging Nigerians to do the right thing and register immediately.
Adamu expressed worry over the attitude of residents in Kebbi State to collection of the permanent voter card which will enable them cast their votes come 2019. He said that of over 100,000 registered voters, only about 30,000 had collected their PVC's.
He urged the youths to actively engage the recall process which he said can only be achieved by registered voters.
Responding to a question his policy direction, Sowore said “the only reason the APC came on board was because the people got weary of Goodluck Jonathan’s administration” which he described as a colossal failure.
He said the APC had failed and that if elected, he would deliver security, infrastructure, fight corruption, build the economy, restructure while providing health care, education, reviving the agricultural and tourism industries.
