This is a good one. No wonder our students are the best nationwide because we have qualified teachers with full knowledge of computer. The teachers will thank this government for this in the future.

@ Yeske2 do you now see that the deduction is mainly for the teachers and it is because of laptop which is still to their benefit.

alfred5:
Brother, ABSTV has been under closure for 6 months now with the motive....... Willie is rebranding ABSTV...

Tune back your tv,visit them at Onitsha or Awka tomorrow.

Finally, Anambra teachers are crrently under salary slash because of laptop policy.

Today, ANS Civil servants were paid with deduction of 2k each.
Goodnight!

Nwanne m, I will ask madam when I get home but for now am in a heavy traffic around Zik avenue because of heavy rain, traffic warders even took to their heels. She has to explain it to me because she works in the ministry of finance.

Yeske2:

Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour: 5:41pm On Oct 28, 2015
Thank you, that was the same thing I said here but people that are not working in the Anambra civil service appears to know the salaries of the workers more than the workers themselves. Isn't it funny..? cheesy

liberty300:
you mean the same abs I watch in my village? My aunt is a teacher in anambra and she says her salary wasn't slashed. Probably those with issues or those people that borrowed money from their workplace that got their salary slashed
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour: 5:26pm On Oct 28, 2015

Yeske2:
Please ask around, i gave you variances as to what i heard, nobody had ever said this before. So many civil servants ain't too happy.
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour: 5:07pm On Oct 28, 2015
Should I believe you that is not working in the State ministry or my wife who is in the ministry of finance? Besides you are no more on ground than myself so STFU..

Yeske2:
STFU, I live here and have so many civil servants as acquaintances, all can't be lieing.

Some said it was 1k,others said close to 25k and several in between
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour: 5:01pm On Oct 28, 2015
Its not true, except they didn't slash my mom's and wife's salaries also because they are both in the State ministry. Be careful for what you say here because if Wike eventually gives me this supplies am targeting now, I swear I will buy most of Nibo and you know the implication it will have on you and your future generation? wink

Yeske2:
Nwanna please forget those haters, i just confirmed it now that salaries were slashed and no reason was given.

Obiano should be careful o.
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour:
You are very correct. Obi did some of these roads below in Agulu at the tail end of his administration. He was never sectional..and made sure that other parts of the state benefited on infrastructural development even ahead of his own town. And I think Obiano is doing similar thing except on such special projects like the Oil Rig and Airport dual carriageways roads both at Otuocha which is his constituency.

Oh you are from Enugu-Ukwu? My in-law is from Uru-Nnebo village.

enochnochi:
That's true, it's also my village actually. We are yet to hear from a reliable source the reason why works on the project has been stopped. Until then, I refuse to be sentimental about the issue just because the deputy governor is my brother. In as much as the road has gone terribly bad with the resent collapse of the bridge due to incessant heavy rains, I will not hate the governor nor his deputy for not fixing the road because there are already too many projects ongoing throughout the state and I know they'll fix it before the end of their tenure.

I think it's about time we dropped this mentality that if my brother is the governor or deputy, they must focus all their attention to my village before any other part of the state. Let me give you a retrospect. During the early stage of Obi's first tenure, the people of Agulu literary crucified him for not focusing his whole attention to Agulu because he is their son. Obi responded and made an open statement and I quote: "I am not the governor of Agulu, I am the governor of Anambra" and that statement made them hate him the more. Obi identified the sectors and regions that needed urgent attention first, not his village, everyone thought he abandoned his kinsmen but he eventually focused his attention to Agulu during his second tenure. Of course, if you go to Agulu, you'll see for yourself what Obi did there and his people are happy again. So please let's not be too quick to label our leaders failures until when they actually fail.

Politics › Re: Ben Carson Knocks Donald Trump From Top Spot Nationally-cnn by SpaceTour: 2:46pm On Oct 28, 2015
Trump is a careless speaker who does not listen to himself. Republicans will fail woefully if they ever make mistake to field him, because I wonder how he will garner votes from the African-American/Blacks going by what he said recently. You also remember that about a month ago he called Mexicans thieves. I wonder how such a candidate can win any election.

dabriggs:
Trump is brash. Though he speaks the truth a lot of times. But I do not think he will do well in terms of policies.

Prefer Ben any day. He calculates and speaks after thinking. He has a lot of emotional intelligence. My opinion though.
Politics › Re: Ben Carson Knocks Donald Trump From Top Spot Nationally-cnn by SpaceTour:
It will be a disaster if the Republicans ever dares to give Trump their ticket, although it is very unlikely! Trump is more or less a comedian than a presidential material!

Carson is going to make a huge in-road against any candidate the Democrats are going to present..
Politics › Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked, Opobo Is Igboland! by SpaceTour: 2:07pm On Oct 28, 2015
I hate some people trying to attach themselves to others, to me it is complex issue. As far as I am still an Anambran I care-less about any other place unless it is strictly business.

biafranqueen:
I have kept quite for one week now because as far as I'm concerned it is not by force to join alliance with any group of people. I study history for fun and the truth is the truth thats why I spoke up now because that is the real history. Yet and still we don't need or want any so called SS or Ijaw nation alliance that is what I have been saying all along, we should focus on Igboland and Igboland alone.
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour: 2:00pm On Oct 28, 2015
Obiano should fix the road asap, it is not fair at least this is deputy governor's home town, though most of the inner roads/streets in Enugu-Ukwu are tarred courtesy of the indigenes. I know this because my sister is married to an Enugu-Ukwu guy..

alfred5:
Deputy Governor's village.
Politics › Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked, Opobo Is Igboland! by SpaceTour: 1:55pm On Oct 28, 2015
My dearie sister abeg forget all these claims and claims, it does not worth the energy, whatever that does not get you richer does not worth dragging. Ok, what shall it profit you now if we all agree and conclude that Opobo or Bonny were founded by Igbo..of course nothing? So let us deal on profitable issues. Let us allow Rivers people and other minorities be. So far as Wike led administration is concerned I love Rivers State. Figure it out..

- Chino

biafranqueen:
thank you my Dear I am so surprised at the ignorance I have been reading lately, but it is good to know who is hating on the downlow.
Politics › Re: Igboland Is Not Landlocked, Opobo Is Igboland! by SpaceTour:
I hate all these claims here and there. You people have a lot of time in your hands. As far as am concerned it is only Anambra that is existing. Anything outside that is purely business for me. I did some supplies about a month ago to Wike led administration in Rivers State and another one at the early stage of his government and on each occasion we got alert almost immediately, I care-less where or which is Igbo-land or not so far as your state can give our firm some contracts or supplies to make. This generation should think-smart abeg!
Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour:
I don't think so, but when your house is burning you don't go to your neighbor's house to kill cockroaches in his cupboard. Imo state is burning in flames and any right thinking person from that worthless state should not bother coming to help me kill the cockroach in my cupboard. Among other numerous horrible roads both state and federal in Imo state, there is over 5KM stretch of Owerri section of the PH road is presently unpassable because it has totally been cut off and it is the worst road in the entire federation, you may not know this until you venture no that road then and only then shall you regret ever plying that route. I think that it enough to keep some people on their toes..

Buhari led federal government should come immediately and fix that bad spot of the Nkpor federal highway, though I am sure it will be fix in this coming dry season..

patrick89:
does it mean that if he sees bad thing in anambra he should not point it out!!!
Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour: 12:10pm On Oct 28, 2015
No! That spot is on the Imo state side of the express on your way to Owerri. I think I have the pictures too..

asha80:
as for the last sentence I guess that spot just on your right if you coming from Onitsha just after passing obosi bypass
Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour:
My dear I think you should do more because presently workers in Imo state are owed over 11months salary arrears, all the roads are bad both state and federal, poverty is so high in the state because it is a civil servant state because owed civil servants are the major patronizers of the state economy..

Beremx:
and who told you i am not concerned? it pains me that i am not resident in Imo state to flood nairaland with pictures of bad roads. Why do you think i have stopped supporting Rochas?

Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour: 11:56am On Oct 28, 2015
The worst roads in the SE are mainly in Imo state so I think the SE governors should focus more on horrible road situation in Owerri and Imo state at large to help salvage the state more especially as they cannot even pay salaries any longer. Below are some of the roads

Abagworo:
Porous soil type, heavy rains and population pressure. Chino will not tell us the state of most roads barely constructed last 1 or 2 years in Awka which have degenerated greatly with erosion threats. The Southeast Governors should involve environmental experts in whatever new road they intend to construct to forestall erosion problems. Even the Onitsha-Owerri Road is about being cut off too.

Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour: 11:51am On Oct 28, 2015
Yes, but charity begins at home, the same reason you should be more concerned with the horrible condition of Imo state. undecided

Beremx:
Are we not both saying the same thing?
Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour: 11:49am On Oct 28, 2015
Judith, I bet you have not seen most of this pictures. Owerri section of Rivers state road is in a horrible condition..in fact it is the worst road right now in Nigeria. Some of us that travels to PH often can no longer cope with that Owerri terror. We need Okorocha to come to our aide or better still Buhari.

Beremx:
We have seen that pictures over and over again. Show me pictures i haven't seen before and i will take it up from there.
the pictures i posted were taken in anambra state that's why i posted it here. I will do the same if it was in my state.
learn to be sincere.

If you insult me again, you will be reported.
Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour:
It is because most of them are either abandoned and poorly done with 6inches blocks like in Imo state

Beremx:
Why are most bridges in the SE always poorly constructed? Does it have to do with the soil or bad contractors?

Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour: 11:42am On Oct 28, 2015
These are the things bothering us in Imo state and we should bring it to the fore so that government can do something about it..what do you think bro? undecided

This is the road situation in Owerri, what is Okorocha doing about it. Abagworo and Beremx over to you. Did the pictures lie? undecided

Let us say the truth for once so that government attention can be drawn to the real issues.. cool

Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour: 11:38am On Oct 28, 2015
Abagworo and Beremx, this is the horrible erosion situation in Orlu. It needs urgent attention. Imo state has the worst erosion situation and horrible roads both state and federal. Rochas should come to our aide. The road is completely cut off.

Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by SpaceTour: 11:36am On Oct 28, 2015
Beremx, this is a road situation in Owerri road leading to Rivers State, although Rivers state side is very okay but Owerri end, I think it should be brought to the notice of Rochas and Buhari led APC government. Abagworo what do you say about this? When I initially pointed this out you chose to fight off everybody on this issue but it is still persistent and getting worse.

Politics › Re: Anambra light of the nation, eastern economy power house. by SpaceTour: 11:33am On Oct 28, 2015
There worse erosion sites in Imo state coupled with the worst road network in Imo state but it is not your problem but you will find a way of calming yourself because you are deeply hurt. Below is

[s]
Abagworo:
When I 1st wrote about the heaping of refuse on that road and how it was cutting the bridge, I was declared enemy. The bridge was poorly constructed and is now a big problem for those plying that route. The entire Southeast has such challenges but Anambra has it most.
