Third, Rochas during the commencement of civilian rule in 1999 won the PDP gubernatorial primary election in Imo state, but due to mutual understanding between him and other Orlu political leaders gave the ticket to Achike Udenwa.
Fourth, and for those who do not know, Rochas emerge Second after late Yar'adua in the 2011 PDP presidential primaries that saw the latter emerge as tbe party Presidential flag bearer.
