I am not from Anambra state but I love what Obiano is doing there and it gladdens my heart that a fellow Igbo state is progressing. The same should apply to every other SE state, be it Enugu, Imo, Ebonyi or Abia and Asaba region. We should all act as one when it comes to Igbo affairs, states are nothing but artificial creation of the military, it should not cause division among us. I am happy that Anambra has got is right since the time of Peter Obi. Enugu too got it right with Chime. I am praying that Abia will get it right with Ikpeazu. Even as Imo appears to be on holiday in terms of governance, Rochas will not remain in Douglas house forever. Ditto Ebonyi state, the food basket of the Ala-Igbo. Every Igbo person must condemn that yaba-left escapee called chino, he is an agent of destruction.

That man you are here abusing built 300 primary schools in his 1st term, 600 km of rural roads and is still building 27 standard hospitals and more schools today. Most importantly education was made free from primary to University level.

He is equally building useless flyovers now if that is your performance meter. In my assessments, I place flyover as the least important thing. Roundabouts are enough while the billions being put into flyovers can be used to complete 2 or 3 well equipped hospitals.

Obiano is trying in his capacity and priority but coming to condemn Okorocha whose priority is different is very uncalled for.

I don't think so. Rochas Okorocha does not really need Imo money but can only use his position to the advantage of his businesses using family members not in Government like Orji Kalu and Peter Obi. Business men as Governors make more money than Southeastern States tiny allocations.

I do not have anything against Obiano but I'm talking about reality on ground. I do not live in Anambra but was home for 2 weeks and within those 2 weeks, I moved around, interacted with people and sought opinions.

Many people see him as nepotic, they say he is concentrating projects in his zone, some say he is a drunkard (these may not be true but public opinion matters).

While home, I picked a plot of land at the GRA and a few plots in Isuaniocha.

I think Ngige will not risk contesting so it's between APGA and PDP and Victor Umeh has a lot of factors working for him. I don't think Ekwunife will win the rerun like she did during her time at house of reps. Yes, although he is not doing anything for us sha but Andy holding that seat is strategic.

Protest by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for the release of Nnamdi Kanu yesterday became bloody at Nnobi, near Nnewi in Idemili South local government area of Anambra State.

Trouble started when protesters went to enforce an earlier stay- at -home order and ran into a group of young men, who were hanging out at a drinking joint along Nnobi-Nnewi Road. The youths, were said to have opposed an order to close the joint by the protesters, which eventually led to a free-for-all. In the ensuing melee, a young man, who returned from United States just a week ago to take care of his sick mother, died.

“You have seen what these people who are nothing but miscreants have done to our brother. Is it a crime for him to come back to Nigeria to see his mother? Now, they have killed him on the pretence of fighting for Biafra. If they are really sincere, why are they violent about it? Do they expect us to run away from our homes for them to actualise their dreams?” a friend of the deceased asked rhetorically.

Why hasn't Obiano worked Onitsha-Enugu Road which is worse? Okorocha has done no wrong other than emerging the most prominent Igbo politician as a result of strategic political decisions. Anambra people tried to cut his tail using GEJ's presidential power and power hungry Imo State political godfathers but he outsmarted them completely.

They resorted to propaganda by calling him sabo claiming he is working against Igbo interest and I ask the Igbo interest he worked against. What has he done against Igbos? Has any MASSOB or IPOB member been killed in Imo State?

The bold faced lies against this innocent man is so much and obvious. They lied he built a mosque but he didn't. Obiano will rebuild the burnt mosque and they will hail him. They even claimed he was paying money to convert Imo citizens to Islam which many people believed. He built over 300 schools and they claimed it was FG. He gave free education and they are claiming it is not free but if he decides to cancel it they will claim its not sustainable. He built roads and roundabouts people claimed it was not needed that other States built flyovers. He is building flyovers now but the same people are asking why.

The truth is that a media gang up is being used against him but it has not been successful because he has so much followership as a result of his philanthropist past and present.

This thread is about a horseman statue on a round about in Ideato LGA built with Imo State money. That type of artwork is located at various roundabouts in Imo State. There is one at Emmanuel college with just a horse and no rider. Why should it be a thing of joy to Igbos that such a good artwork was destroyed?

We are trying to unite as one igbo nation while fighting bad leadership (Rochas) and praising good leadership (Obiano) and u are here busy bashing a sister state, boasting of resources which u never personally contributed to its development. I am very sure u are a student or at best a local hustle who has never paid a kobo of tax. Yet u are here encouraging division among igbo states and also in front of Yoruba and Hausa who hate we igbo enough.

How is Okorocha bad and Obiano good? Can you please expantiate? How many Igbos be it IPOB or MASSOB have been killed in Imo since Okorocha became Governor? Okorocha's only offence is not supporting Jonathan who neglected Igbos completely in infrastructural development.
Both Peter Obi and Obiano foresaw to the death of dozens of Igbos as Governor and Obi in particular was one of those that deceived Igbos into supporting Jonathan. Okorocha is by far the best Governor in Southeast and by the time he completes his 2nd term we will count our hatched eggs.
