They should consider 'Nnewi' as its locational nomenclature since the said new hospital under construction nearing completion is even lying at the boundary of the both towns or it will be NAUTH, Nnewi-Ozubulu or NAUTH, Ozubulu-Nnewi. Nwanne you don't get the point. There is a permanent site of NAUTH nearing completion at boundary between Nnewi and Ozubulu. What we have presently at Nnewi is the temporary site. It is that permanent site that lies at boundary of Nnewi and Ozubulu that we are talking about.

Its a Fedral government project so the government should enforce the nomenclature that convenient to them.

Since the hospital is on the boundary of the both towns it is so easy for federal government to maintain the nomenclature of its original location "Nnewi", afterwards its a federal government project and they paid compensation fully for the land acquisition to the affected communities.

Federal government should go ahead and choose the locational nomenclature that is convenient to them afterwards it will still remain Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital.

The hospital nomenclature is a very big issue here.

I don't think its just nomenclature that is delaying it. It may be federal government bureaucracy. But what I know from a cousin who is actually a medical student at NAUTH-Nnewi, that the project is almost ready but the federal government is holding them from taking off from permsite.

The hospital lies between Nnewi and Ozubulu, there is no way it will bear NAUTH-Ozubulu because it originated from NAUTH-Nnewi, more especially when the said project is on the boundary of both towns. Besides Nnewi as a name is far more popular than Ozubulu.
