As per someone that posted that no visa approval in September. He may be right or otherwise. I got a denial on a day to my birthday in recently in Lagos US embassy
Here is my transcript.

V.O: Good morning.
Me: Good morning officer
V.O: your passport
Me: here's my passport with a smile
V.o: Where are you going in the US?
Me: Indianapolis
V.o: What's the purpose of your traveling?
Me: I'm going for my annual leave vacation and tourism
V.o: how long do you plan to stay?
Me: I intend to stay for 2 weeks and return back home to resume my job.
V.o: what do you do?
Me: I work as head of Bleep at xyz where I have been working for 8 years now
V.o: have you traveled outside the country before?
Me: yes officer. I've traveled to Ghana, Togo and Benin Republic
V.o: Are you married?
Me: yes, I'm happily married
V.o: how many kids?
Me: a beautiful daughter
V.o: what's your monthly income?
Me: I earn 300k monthly
V.o: where would you visit during your stay?
Me: Indianapolis motor Speedway, Indianapolis museum of art
V.o: sorry you're not qualified for this visa.

I got to the hotel and I just laid down flat on the bed. I was static for some minutes. I couldn't do anything after months of rehearsals with my wife and kid.

Please my senior, where did I get it all wrong?
I'm still disappointed at the whole thing. It was only one guy that was given visa out of about 12 people who were on the queue with me. An elderly woman was denied because she overstayed in the US. The US embassy is like a world on its own.

For USA visitor visa you must get three things right , unfortunately you only got 1.
1. Home ties - you got it
2. Travel history - no travel history . Going to Togo and some west African countries is weak
3. Profile / work . Salary of 300k naira is less than 200 dollars and you want to spend two weeks ?
Haba the salary is too low . Cheapest hotel maybe around 70 to 150 dollars .
Above all improve your travel history by getting Schengen visa and look for conference in your discipline to attend
Going for holiday with 300k salary is a big Red flag

Who ever wins the final will them proceed to play Intercontinental play offs. It's even a tougher journey ahead for the super chickens.

Niger came 2nd in Group E with 15points. Usually, all the teams in the group would have been awarded 3points and 3-0 win against Eritrea. (Home and away makes it 6points and 6-0). Then from there, the top four runners up qualifies for the play off. Niger should have been sitting pretty cool at 21points in 3rd or 4th position instead of 15points in 9th position.

This has always been the standard, but the decision to abolish this and use the ranking system was made know just few days ago.

The whole ranking system appears to have been engineered to favour Nigeria. The Excuse CAF and FIFA gave was that in other to allow for equilibrium due to Eritrea withdrawal, ranking system will now be used for the playoffs.

I hope this clarifies.

No sir before any qualification start CAF issued a communique to explain the process . It was well stated what happens if a team withdrew. All teams were aware , what helped Nigeria was Burkina Faso played Ethiopia a day before Nigerian - Benin match.

No Osihmen no super eagles. We need to have back up strikers .

Yes not his time ,the coach should understand this ..but they will always play him ahead of Chukueze who delivered several crosses to Osihmen

Lookman not playing today was a blessing . He is a great player but I prefer him or Simon should be on the bench .By now the coach should know Chukueze clicked well with Osihmen and we can get more goals by crossing the ball.
By now the coach Should know Ekong should not start play any crucial match again , he can serves in advisory roles . Onyeka should be starting matches

We need to use two gks for the playoffs. How did we even arrive at this junction where no1 is so so bigger that no2 no even fit give assurance? I recall Ejide and Enyeama years. Ezenwa and Ikeme times.


We need to really talk about Nwabali. Attitude is the problem. We don't need that at this level.

Well said ! Who surrounds Osihmen ? Lol 😆. We used too many players during the qualifiers . Uzoho also was invited lol

Osimhen is good and I may add better when compared with Yekini. Yekini was a goalgetter but hardly or rarely ran back to provide support or assists as Osimhen.
Yekini with all his flair played for a mediocre Vitoria Setubal, Mediocre Sporting Gijon and a slightly above average Olympiakos but had the benefit of good midfielders in the Super Eagles. The current crop of Super Eagles midfielders are no where near the 1992-1996 midfielders. Add to the above the quality of teams and leagues Osimhen played in.

Yekini was a great striker ,however he was lucky to have oliseh and Okocha who are very good with assists and passes .

JP and Finidi George could only secure 3 points from 4 matches
Zimbabwe 1 vs Nigeria
Lesotho 1 vs Nigeria 1
Benin 2 vs Nigeria 1
SA 1 vs Nigeria 1
Ah these results were horrible ..Chele not very good but I appreciate his boldness to bench Ekong .

The coach did well. Troost Ekong is the one who put us in this predicament with his defensive errors that caused unwanted goals against us in some of the important matches. His defensive errors took away 6 points from us. Inconsistent set of players.

I am happy the coach was bold to benched him today

Ekong should not start any match again . He should serve in an advisory role . He passed his prime .
If not for his errors we should have defeated Zimbabwe. That match lead us to this play off

Waiting for other teams like Sudan and Rwanda na waste of time . Thank God the fourth goal enter o 😂. Burkina Faso celebrated 3-1 not knowing not enough

The coach should bench Lookman or Simon both should not play at the same time

I am wondering why these guys Fredrick and Akor Adams were never invited before the last two matches ? I believe inviting wrong players cost us automatic qualification. Moreso the draw against Zimbabwe cost the ticket .. however thanks 🙏 to Eitrea who withdrew
