There’s no way the Football Federation hired/appointed all the managers and coaches of our various football teams and age grades on the basis of competency, qualification or “They’re the best”

……and there’s also absolute no way the coaches, the NFF and those who make team selections looked at these girls amongst all girls 17 years and under, in a country of over 230 Million people, home and in diaspora and decided that these girls were the best 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Of course selection is not always based on best players but man know man

Please, does any one know if PHD study need block account? And how fast is the visa appointment now?

Every applicant must show proof of financial means including PhD students, however most PhD programs are funded ,hence if you are funded you don't need a block account and appointment is always faster for PhD programs, scholarship holders and first class students .

As per someone that posted that no visa approval in September. He may be right or otherwise. I got a denial on a day to my birthday in recently in Lagos US embassy
Here is my transcript.

Me: I'm going for my annual leave vacation and tourism

Me: I work as head of Bleep at xyz where I have been working for 8 years now
V.o: have you traveled outside the country before?
Me: yes officer. I've traveled to Ghana, Togo and Benin Republic
V.o: Are you married?
Me: yes, I'm happily married
V.o: how many kids?
Me: a beautiful daughter
V.o: what's your monthly income?
Me: I earn 300k monthly

I got to the hotel and I just laid down flat on the bed. I was static for some minutes. I couldn't do anything after months of rehearsals with my wife and kid.

Please my senior, where did I get it all wrong?
I'm still disappointed at the whole thing. It was only one guy that was given visa out of about 12 people who were on the queue with me. An elderly woman was denied because she overstayed in the US. The US embassy is like a world on its own.

For USA visitor visa you must get three things right , unfortunately you only got 1.
1. Home ties - you got it
2. Travel history - no travel history . Going to Togo and some west African countries is weak
3. Profile / work . Salary of 300k naira is less than 200 dollars and you want to spend two weeks ?
Haba the salary is too low . Cheapest hotel maybe around 70 to 150 dollars .
Above all improve your travel history by getting Schengen visa and look for conference in your discipline to attend
Going for holiday with 300k salary is a big Red flag
