How to soft reset your iPhone SE 1. Press and hold the Home button (at the bottom of display) and the Power key (sleep/wake button) together for 15 to 20 seconds. 2. If there’s enough battery left to power the device on, the white Apple logo will appear. 3. When this happens, release both keys and wait until the device reboots completely. |
Lacomb:If the problem was just a system crash, it can be fixed by soft reset but now that your iPhone SE is still not responding after doing it, then it’s time to check to see there’s charge left in the battery to power it up. Of course, we cannot physically check it so we’ll try to charge your phone for at least 10 minutes and attempt to turn it on again. In case the issue remains, try to do the soft reset procedure while your device is charging as the problem might be a combination of system crash and drained battery. For an iPhone that won’t turn on, the worst case scenario is that the hardware may be damaged at some point that the phone can no longer power up its components. Plugging your phone in to charge will tell you immediately if there’s really an issue with the hardware because the charging indicators won’t show. But I suggest you wait for 5 minutes to see if the charging icon shows because when the battery is totally drained, it may take few minutes before the phone shows the charging indicators. In the event that your device doesn’t respond to the charger no matter what, try to do this: Physically check the cable for breakage Look into the port on your charger for lint, debris or corrosion that may prevent charging Try to check the pins to see if one of them is bent Check the charging port of your phone for debris and corrosion Try using a different charger |

In school I began making shirts and sweats. Made several cool designs with inspiration from Jaden Smith's Msfits. I became popular and known as the entrepreneur of my department. I later began an e-commerce start-up with my friends,we even became popular in Unilag and Yabatech amongst our peers. An investor got interested and decided to partner with us. Though that didn't go entirely successful, I still learnt a lot. |

The Problem Is Not Fall In Oil Prices, But Fall In Investment Inflows. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) confirms our position that a fall in Foreign Portfolio and Direct Investment remain the biggest contributor to the recession in Nigeria. Nigeria foreign currency reserves were not funded solely by oil sales but by Foreign Direct and Portfolio Investment. CBN Deputy Governor Mrs Sarah Alade while giving testimony before the Nigerian House of Representatives said CBN get 70% of its foreign exchange from foreign investors, Her quote is below; “Things are not the way they used to be. There is a shortage of foreign exchange. In 2013 to 2014, the Federal Government used to get $2bn to $3bn monthly, and the CBN in the interbank market sold about 30 per cent of that. Seventy per cent came from foreign investors. “Today, we get $600m or $700m. Nothing comes in from interbank market; $1.5m is sold every day and $1bn was done in December to clear matured Letters of Credit. It’s not the way it used to be This chart below support that position as investment inflow has dropped off considerable from previous highs. Nigeria failed the JP Morgan liquidity test and got kicked out of the JP Morgan Government Bond index, this reduced the inflow of dollars to the CBN as confirmed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. This fall in foreign exchange to fund imports led directly to the recession in 2016….not just a fall in crude oil prices….. This is important in guiding policy makers to focus not just on crude oil prices and budget benchmarks but also on policies to re-attract the foreign investors to boost foregin currency investment inflow to the CBN Interbank Market. Such policies will include a scrapping of the suffocating capital controls instituted by the CBN that has strangulated business in Nigeria. -Kalu Aja With the kind of demarketing our President carried out, Foreign Investors will be far fetched....

Okay! Let's give example of soemthing I do. If you get 300 bags of crayfish bought for about N46k each, you can sell in the north for almost 60k. That will still yield a lot of profit regardless of the 200-250k on transporting from south to north. You get my point? |
baralatie:I'm not sure about that. Let's not take things to the extreme. It's still cheaper to distribute within the country. A freight which can take up to 10-16 tons (12 wheeler). |
GBTYO:Wow! Bravo bruv! Interestingly I have also worked on something similar. Crayfish to be specific. There's a huge market, the only challenge would be Logistics and distribution. That's why I advise you have a ready market. Go to your potential client, tell them you can supply, make a deal before you even get the product on the road. Now I'm not very sure the likes of Shoprite are the best bet. Those guys source directly from the farm. Some have large farms themselves. During the tomatoes crisis, Shoprite had large trucks (cold-chain storage) get tomatoes directly from the farms to the shops. |
I AM DISAPPOINTED I'm disappointed. But before blotting out my reasons, let me give you some statistics. Ivory Coast exports cocoa as its major product to a company in USA called Mars and makes a revenue of about $5bn. This same company imports this cocoa, processes it and makes a revenue of $33bn. An African country once sold its copper mines for about $350m to a foreign company, this company made that amount in three months from the same mines, moreover the payment for the mine was spread over 3 years. Congo's untapped deposits of raw minerals are estimated to be worth in excess of US$24 trillion. The Congo has 70% of the world's coltan, a third of its cobalt, more than 30% of its diamond reserves, and a tenth of its copper yet it's still one of the poorest countries in the world. Now let's come back to Nigeria, specifically to agriculture. You see, there is something we miss and it’s called "Processing", which is the actual value addition. Unfortunately, here in Nigeria, there isn’t much difference. Everyone is clamoring for us to go back to the farm but should we really? Let’s analyse this; *I'd rather say we go to technology and take technology to the farm. Let's move from manual to automatic, let's move from subsistence to mechanized, let’s move from past to present and further to the future because we have no choice anyway ( _Evolve or Dissolve_)*. In this industry of agriculture, let's be smart. There's a long value chain. For example, I noticed a huge gap between harvesting and distribution and to put in perspective, about 40% of our harvested farm produce goes to waste because of lack of storage facilities and distribution (What are you people with money doing?). That’s something I have personally decided to focus on and I hope you join me. Within Nigeria, there’s a huge opportunity in distribution of farm produce. Palm oil, crustaceans, vegetables, etc can be taken up North while Groundnut, Tomatoes, Wheat, etc can be taken to the South. I urge us to find vital roles within that value chain and play our part. We may not all go to the farm but we can all be a part of harnessing our true agricultural capabilities and making a fortune out of it. I am Klein, how can we do business? Please share if you find useful |
