Phones / Re: Why Your Smartphone Heats Up During Intense Use by specexcel: 5:13pm On Feb 10, 2015
Good teaching
MobilityNigeria:
All smartphones warm up a little during intense use. This is quite normal and nothing to be alarmed about. During intensive use, the phone draws a lot of power from the battery and this causes it to warm up.

What is abnormal is where your phone heats up tremendously and becomes hot. Sometimes, the only thing to fear is a burning sensation when in contact with your body. In worse cases, the phone may shut down, become unresponsive or reboot.

In the worst case scenario, the device may combust – burst into flames.

Also, note that heat drains the battery of your phone faster. The hotter it gets, the faster your battery drains, so you get the most out of your battery if you keep your phone from heating up too much.

What To Do If Your Phone Gets Hot During Use

1. Put it down a while and let it cool down.

2. Turn off WiFi or 3G/4G data. Internet usage are key power drainers in any smartphone. By disabling your internet connection, you cut off this factor, and of course mostly likely will put down your phone :-)

3. Don’t use your phone in extremely hot conditions e.g near ovens, in direct, scorching sunlight.

4. Turn off battery draining apps. Those are usually apps that run in the background and using your internet connection. These may include Map apps, email apps, and ocial networking apps.
5. Sometimes, the problem is a rogue app – a badly written app – running in the background. Find it. Kill it. Uninstall it. Do not be merciful.

Politics / Re: APC Secretariat Bombed Again In Rivers by specexcel: 8:01am On Jan 17, 2015
APC has been consistent in saying that PDP has ruled
Nigeria for 16 disastrous
years in which corruption, impunity, insurgency,
armed robbery and several ills
of society held sway.
But at a very close look at the APC, I am seeing:
1. Rotimi Amaechi – 8 years speaker; 7 year,
Governor
under PDP.
2. Atiku Abubakar – 8 years Vice president under
PDP.
3. George Akume – 8 years Governor under PDP.
4. Bukola Saraki – 8 years Governor; 2 years, Senator
under PDP.
5. Timipre Sylver – 4 years Governor under PDP.
6. Audu Ogbe – 2 years Chairmanship of the PDP.
7. Aminu Masari – 4 years as the Speaker, House of
Representativesunder PDP.
8. Chris Ngige – 3 years Governor under PDP.
9. Rabiu Kwankwaso – 7 years Governor; 3 years
Defense minister under PDP.
10. El Rufai – 4 years FCT Minister; 2 years BPE
chairman under PDP.
11. And to cap it all, Obasanjo is the navigator of the
APC, a man who spent 8 of the disastrous 16 years as
the maximum ruler of Nigeria.
It is now clearer that APC is a waste basket of the
PDP, where the people
who created and perpetuated the 16 disastrous years
are now dumped. So where
is the change coming from? Are they now saints
because they joined APC?
Pls be WISE & VOTE not for those seeking power by
FORCE
ASSOCIATION OF PAST CRIMINALS (APC)

Politics / Re: This Is Unfair, 22 State Governors Owing Workers Salaries. by specexcel: 6:33pm On Dec 25, 2014
May God help us in this country!both PDP and APC are the same
Johnnyessence:
Secretary General of the National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria (NUTGTWN),
Comrade Issa Aremu, has expressed concern over non payment of workers salaries by many state governors.

Speaking with newsmen in Kaduna at the NUTGTWN meeting, Aremu described the development as a wage theft, wage robbery and economic crime.

Aremu who is the Vice President of the Nigeria Labour Congress ( NLC) said for about three months now, 22 state governors are delaying or refusing to pay salaries but paid the delegates during the just concluded primary elections across the states.

“We see that delay in payment of salaries as wage theft, wage robbery. It is actually an economic crime because Nigeria labour law says thou shall pay the worker as at when due. In fact by 22nd of every month you must have pay the workers fully.

“We never heard of any delegate being owed a single penny during the primary elections, but they cannot get
money to pay the workers. In fact, some of the delegates even bought new cars and properties after the primaries because they money they got in just few days is much more than what workers earn in many months.

The governors should go to the place they got they money to pay delegates and settle the workers’
salaries ,” he said.

He also said the NUTGTWN has succeeded in negotiating a 15% increase in wages for its members, making
it a 35% increase in the last four years.

“This shows that the process of collecting bargaining is working in the private sector and we will like to recommend this process for the public sector because most of their crisis is on the increase of wages and salaries which has been causing endless strikes and unfavourable industrial actions,” he added.
