Hello, What are possible reasons a student may be denied emergency appointment even after providing I-20 and SEVIS information about admission showing resumption in 3 weeks? |

Hi LagosNIV, My parents got a 221g from the last dropbox visa renewal process. They have since been trying to get an appointment for over a month now. Nothing has showed up in the calendar here https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Nigeria even though there are appointments available for fresh applicants. What can they do to expedite this process, since their anticipated travel date is inching too close? Or is there anything they need to do for the appointment dates to show up? Thanks |

Hi LagosNIV, My F-1 visa expired on 11th of July 2017 but I have since changed school and transferred my SEVIS information to where I am currently studying. I intend to travel to Nigeria briefly during the Fall academic session for a wedding for a week. Would I qualify for dropbox? Considering the fact that I would be back in no time because of studies, what would be a good alternative should the interview waiver program not apply? Thanks |

Hi abujaniv, I was on F-1 visa here in the US.My present company then filed for my H1B and I've already applied for stamping at a US Consulate. I wanted to know if mistakes in 'Point of Contact' and 'Do you have any travel plans' section of DS-160 could delay stamping after the interview. Many thanks! |
