Words having the long letter A sound usually have these letter pairs AI, AY.
Four letter words with the letter A as the second letter and ends with the letter E also says AAAA i.e FAKE.
The long A is said as AAAAA.
WORDS EXAMPLES

RULE 1 : Words with the long A as the last sound is usually spelt with the letters AY i.e SAY

Hi guys, i am Meghai a phonetic and spelling instructor.
I have taught in various schools and have noticed that some of our children which we classify as been dullard are actually not.
The so called dull kids do have a major problem with spelling.
If a child cannot produce the sounds of the English letters individually and in pairs,he/she would perform woefully in the class and would remain academically stunted.
For this reason, i would teach spelling strategies to your ward through this avenue.
