The competition Dangote is facing is brutal.

I don't blame the competition. They have been in the business and can't just wake up and see an upstart kick them out of business.

They would have been kicked out of business had Tinubu enforced the Petroleum Industry Bill which basically ended importation of products into the country by those who had zero refining capacity locally. Dangote tried another means: a 15% import duty on imported fuels but there was an outcry and this was quickly dropped.

Very brutal. The marketers have been importing like mad, which is good for the business.

The marketers caused this.Prices have been falling at different petroleum depots.It will spread across filling stations too.

The marketers are really competing with him via importations and he had to take a decrease in pricing to remain more relevant. November this year and till date have witnessed an influx of petroleum vessels across jetties.

This is really sickening. Imagine calling such an amount for the man's family or friends. Where will they get such money. These kidnappers are not just wicked, but senseless. God forbids!
