Yes, it's a one-off payment. And it runs all day for me. I'll bet with a little care, it will run all night for you too. Mini flat, right?

Between PHCN and my Landlord I was given a 80k bill to install a prepaid meter at one of my offices. I told them to go jump off 3rd mainland. With 250k I got a good enough solar power system and completely disconnected from the power grid.

I'm totally power independent right now. Without the need for a gen to boot.

The problem with us is we just don't listen. A seller will not want to risk sending an item that hasn't been paid for. A buyer will not want to risk sending cash for an item that he/she has not seen. Stop insisting on pay on delivery or pay before delivery. They both have their downsides.

Solution: Only buy items you can easily go and physically inspect yourself or send someone to inspect for you. Only pay after you are satisfied with the condition of the item.

How can you be in Lagos and be going after a deal in the north? Keep your money and wait for offers in your vicinity.

Its just common sense.

Based on a suggestion someone made on Nairaland, I started a delivery service last year. Knowing the challanges of buying and selling on a forum like this, I have been considerimg offerimg an escrow service. Afterall, with a pickup and drop of delivery service, it makes sense to serve as an escrow for the buyer I am picking up from to the seller I am dropping off to. But I know the difficulties involved in getting Nigerians to use a service like that. I am open to suggestions though.
