So we finally decided to give bella out to a friend's brother. He's a young lad who simply adore dogs. I know for sure that she's in safe hands.
Farewell bella, you will be missed.

True Donpizzle, I suggested the same thing too but he said he was already on medication. He left home despite being ill only because he had to collect his NYSC certificate in camp at kubwa, abuja.
I would have gladly paid for his treatment.

I was on my way home around 5pm when I saw a young man sitting close to the pedestrian bridge at galadima, abuja model city, Gwarinpa.
I got closer to see what was wrong and I realised he's a corps member. He had his khaki on and was literally covered in vomit. He puked all over himself.
Now the worse part is he had his Nysc uniform on but no one cared, everyone went about their business not even giving a fuss, as though he was not human.
I started talking to him and found out he's with the outgoing Abuja batch A youth service corp members who just finished service today and apparently he's ill.
I didn't bother asking his name as engaging him in any further conversation seemed irrelevant, he could barely talk.
I helped him with his bag and he mustered every ounce of energy he had left to stand. I called a cab and paid the driver to take him home.
The driver came with a piece of cloth to help him clean the vomit off his khaki. The only reason why he did this was because he did not want his seat stained with Vomit. *sigh*
He thanked me and I bid him farewell.
Now I understand the present situation of the country, the fuel scarcity and how shitty everything is.
Regardless, that is no excuse why we should all be shitty people too.
Be kind to yourselves and one another.

Yes Miremoses. Truth be told I try my possible best to treat them equally, I can't help but treat Mo a lil bit more special. We've had and I've lived with Dogs all my life but Mo is the first dog I raised, I got her myself, she's family. I mean the other dogs are family too but every family has a favourite.
I love them equally, but I love Mo a lil bit more if that makes any sense.
Yeah, we were planning on putting Bella up for adoption, I'll probably give her to my neighbour. I'm afraid Mo would try to play rough with bella and maybe injure her in the process. If they ever get into a fight, bella doesn't stand a chance.
Plus, she's just not as active as before.

Mo's aggression is getting off the chart. Recently, she started preventing the other dogs from coming close to me. She snaps and tries to ward them off. Bella growls back at Mo anytime she starts her "Body guard" acts, then comes the part where Mo chases her and poor bella is left with climbing one of the cars. That's her safe house 'cuz Mo is terrible at climbing.
Mo is a certified bully, she's bigger than the other dogs so she uses her size to the fullest advantage. She see's me petting or patting any of the other dogs while she's chained? She goes berserk! Growls, cries, whines, and tries to cut her leash.
She tried chasing Coco this one time, but it went from growling, to mouthing, to nibbling, to face licking, to ear licking, then they turned it to their usual rough play. Running back and forth like they are preparing for the olympics.
She gets very very very jealous. Lately I've been feeling guilty for ignoring the other dogs, I give Mo the most attention, but still she craves more. Women ehn!
You see Mo's innocent puppy dog look? It's all a charade! she's evil I tell you! Evil!
PS: This is Mo and bella. Mind not her size, bella is actually two years older.

Mo does the exact same thing, except putting her face in the water. She doesn't like water so much, bathing her is like trying to catch a fish with your bare hands.

It is believed that if you have two or more female dogs, they will all have their heat cycle at about the same time.
One bitch coming into season can put the others on heat too.
It only happened that one time, her heat cycle returned to the usual six months interval
For a female dog to come into season every three months is just absurd.

My cross breed dog came on heat after three months.
She usually come into season at six months interval, but she did after three months just that one time. It never happened again.
My female boerboel was on heat at the time, so this must have greatly influenced it.
A dog coming into season after three or four months on few occasions is very plausible. But every three months? For the rest of her life? That's just silly, total BS.

Today is friday, so I thought I'd post some random pictures of my dogs, the three of 'em. I woulda done a throwback yesterday but my network was shitty, plus I was super busy.
Unfortunately, my laptop crashed few days ago. I lost most of their pictures especially bella's. I still have few pictures on my phone though, which I'll post shortly.

No bro, I was not planning to. If I did, she would have littered last year and the pups would be almost 3 months old now.

Mo was quiet that morning, I found that a bit strange because she's usually the opposite. Then I realised how swollen her vulva was, she was bleeding.
Yup, you guessed it, she had come "into season". She's on heat.
PS: I changed her previous collar, its too tight, doesn't fit anymore.
