What's your experience with Blue gate 20A 2KVA 24V inverters?
I need to know:
Can a 3.5 KVA gen charge it?
Can I use 2 or4 12V200Ah or the inverter?(Maybe in parallel)
Is it a good brand of inverter?
Can a inverter Ac 1hp be connected to it?
What kind of charging time is required?

Can a 3.5 KVA gen charge it? ANS: Yes
Can I use 2 or4 12V200Ah ?(Maybe in parallel) ANS: You can use two batteries connected in series to get the required 24 V or 4 batteries connected in both series and parallel maintaining the required 24 V
Is it a good brand of inverter? ANS: Bluegate is a big name in Nigeria, however i have not personally used their inverters.
Can a inverter Ac 1hp be connected to it? ANS: In theory yes. Is the inverter going to be used only for the AC ? I f not i would advise you buy a bigger Pure Sine wave inverter 5KV and above
What kind of charging time is required? ANS: Approximately 6 depending on depth of discharge and good NEPA light.

Imagine your laptop, phone, or other battery-driven piece of tech recharging in less than 15 minutes? That’s at least an hour faster than the fastest smartphone recharging systems can manage today, and something most of us would find extremely beneficial. The good news is, the world’s first graphene battery pack is here, and it promises to deliver exactly this level of performance.

Revealed by Chinese company Dongxu Optoelectronics, the battery pack is called the G-King. It has a 4,800mAh capacity, which is considerably more than what we see in a smartphone, and more inline with small tablets, or compact laptops like the 11-inch MacBook Air. Dongxu claims the battery regains its lost charge in 13 to 15 minutes. The battery shouldn’t fall over after a single recharge either. Dongxu says the cell is strong enough to be discharged and recharged 3,500 times, which it states is seven times the strength of a conventional Li-Ion battery.

It’s all thanks to graphene, the wonder-material we’ve been hearing about for some time, which has the potential to revolutionize the world of battery technology. Apart from making the batteries inside our gadgets more efficient, graphene makes flexible screens possible, and can be used to improve heart rate and fingerprint sensors. It’s graphene’s ability to make batteries better that has the world all excited though, particularly in the area of electric cars.

Dongxu’s G-King battery was shown off at an event in Beijing at the beginning of July, and seemingly was demonstrated on stage, but that doesn’t mean it’s about to be fitted inside your next smartphone. The company didn’t give any idea when the G-King or a derivative would reach us, and for now remains tantalizingly out of reach. However, the fact it has reached the stage in development where it can be officially unveiled this way represents a positive step closer to fitment inside the devices we use everyday.

Consider electricity generation alternatives, group tells FG

The Senior Staff Association of Communications, Transport and Corporations has urged the Federal Government to consider alternative sources of power generation such as solar, wind and thermal energy in order to boost electricity supply.
The association made this call in Calabar, the Cross River State capital at the end of a three-day special delegate conference.
In a 10 point communiqué issued at the end of the conference on Saturday, the association also urged the Federal Government to encourage the establishment of private refineries in order to complement the existing ones with a view to stop product importation regime in the country.
The communiqué which was signed by the President and General Secretary of SSACTC, Muhammad Yunusa and Chile Ekeke respectively decried the deplorable and near collapse state of electricity generation and supply in the country.
It read in part, “Electricity generation and supply has led many companies and entrepreneurs to fold up and relocate to other countries, to remedy this situation the government must explore other available sources of power generation that may be realisable from the combination of solar, wind and thermal energy to lift Nigeria out of the current worsening power situation.”
On the scarcity of petrol, the association frowned at the current fuel situation in the country which has brought businesses to its knees, adding that it was negatively affecting Nigerians.
The association also urged the Federal Government to vigorously and genuinely pursue the exploration of agro allied and solid minerals.
It noted that the exploration of agro-allied and solid minerals will bring about quick recovery and reduce over reliance on oil as the only source of revenue.
While lauding President Muhammadu Buhari efforts in combating corruption, the association called on the president not to relent in the recovery of looted funds.
They called on the president to provide equipment for security agencies as well as boost their morale in the fight against insurgency and other forms of insecurity.
“Nigeria must return to her enviable position. President Muhammadu Buhari should evolve a pragmatic approach to solving Nigeria’s socio-economic and political challenges by engaging all stakeholders,” it added

That is correct but where people are wrong is in terms of battery runtime and variables used in the calculations. if the same appliance is used in both let say 30w light, 2* 200AH will last twice th 200AH in ideal condition.

2* 12v 200AH = capacity 200AH when connected to a 24 volt Inverter, because you have to connect the batteries in series to double the voltage

1* 12v 200AH = capacity 200AH when connected to a 12 volt inverter
