Politics › Re: Soyinka Slams President Tinubu’s Address, Response To Protests by spiSeyi:
lexy2014:
kindly explain the highlighted

wow...thats interesting but when he was castigating jonathan, why didnt he think of the economic impact of his criticism?
Soyinka never condemn GEJ from the onset of his government (2009-2011) and here he is condemning PBAT his friend within a few months of his government. Don't allow tribal/political sentiment becloud your sense of reasoning, ICMI Soyinka and the likes of Aketi stood behind GEJ when Yaradua's cabal refused the transition of power. And somebody like Soyinka can't just be following online emotions to establish his criticism. He is only waiting for how PBAT will be a good problem solver and PBAT has just failed with his empty speech, and this is why Soyinka can constructively criticize him just like how GEJ speech was empty during his address to end the 2012 subsidy saga.
High value men are always the last to speak in the room cool

Dangote should sell to them in Naira for the strengthening of our currency since NNPCL will be selling to him Naira if he really wants to serve Nigeria as he claims
Politics › Re: Military Tells The Media To Stop Covering Nationwide Protests by spiSeyi: 10:55am On Aug 03, 2024
Imagine such an enfontery to gag the media in a democratic regime, just imagine that we are being ruled by this kaki boys shocked I hope the military regime conveners can now have a rethink.
A serious Senate will summon the CDS angry why should the CDS address the media on civil matters and try to gag media in a sane country. PBAT is losing it all already

MadamVanessa:
grin

But but but the fóolish agbadorians said that there won't be any protest in Lagos. These must have been the Igbos that arrived last night🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why are you !gbos forcing yourself to be relevant grin shebi u guys said that u won't be part of any protests undecided .
!gbos this !gbos that on every protest thread as if they were more important, you were just a . in a very big circle
The capital TRUTH is !gbos are less significant in the national matter and !gbos are not needed for protest to be effective in this country. Most notable protests are championed by the SW, SS, and some Northerners.
PMB was right after all ⏺️
Politics › Re: Day 2: Jigawa Protesters Defy Curfew, Return To Streets by spiSeyi: 9:22pm On Aug 02, 2024
Salewa97:
Why do they keep wasting their time? Curfew or no curfew, these protesters are just shouting into the void.

Jigawa needs solutions, not more chaos. Instead of disrupting the peace, why not channel that energy into something productive?
Hunger is everywhere and northerners are just gaining their freedom undecided the northerners have been used and dumped bcs of their illiteracy since 1999. And this is the time for Nigerians to be liberated from their oppressors
Politics › Re: Protests: Peter Obi Tells Tinubu To Address Nigerians by spiSeyi: 9:13pm On Aug 02, 2024
SisterJolade:
Good. This is the president Nigerians overwhelmingly voted for. Not the self entitled election rigger that thinks presidency is his turn.
As much as I like PO you just lied that PO was massively voted for, where do you put Atiku who came 2ND huh in fact Atiku could have won if not for the G5 saga, and blaming PBAT alone for this mayhem is unfair but PBAT needs to address the nation as PO rightly said. The only mistake PBAT has made so far is floating the Naira without at least two working refinery, aside e this PBAT as done well so far bcs the rots caused by PMB will take some administrative years to fix and it's high time that PMB boys are probed starting from AGF Malami to PMB rats
Politics › Re: Protest: We will step in If Looting, Destruction Continue - CDS Musa by spiSeyi:
The NA should not start what they can't finish because they are overstretched and 200k soldiers can't confront over 200M hungry and angry citizens. Meanwhile, the military has no business in the civil affairs of the nation it is the work of the police & NSCDC let the military mind the banditry and the insurgency that brought us to this junction. Tinubu should call his dogs to other bcs the CDS has no business in addressing the nation on civil matters. angry

petrage:
You and the other fellow are just tribal irredentists, guilty of what you accuse yourselves of. If only Nigerians had the idealists tendency of Colonial Zik, where humanity hold sway over primordial sentiments as Awo and Sardauna exhibited, Nigeria would have been better off. 60 years laters, this country still reeks in tribal shits…..Tueh!!!!
Don't shift the goal post man you guys are too sissy and that's one of the reasons the country was like this, imagine PO a would be president shedding tears in the face of defeat angry . Even Kenneth Okonkwo testified to your sissy chatter recently and he had to left weak PO (a prominent !gbo flag bearer) If Zik had listened to Awo and let the South gain her independent separately we might not find ourselves here but Zik even went ahead to please the North by including the succession clause in the 1963 constitution which made it impossible for you !gbos to actualize your Biafra dream. Mr man !gbos victim card has never helped since the days of Ironzi

Politics › Re: Police Attack VeryDarkMan, Deji Adeyanju, Other Protesters In Abuja by spiSeyi: 3:46pm On Aug 02, 2024
Believeintruth:
when did Awo lead the fight for independence before Zik? you people no dey tire for lies and propaganda? before the protest you tagged it igbo protest that they want to burn lagos like they did in EndSars in response, Ohaneze and other igbo elders said they are not protesting and we stayed away. Plan B they now switched and said igbos mislead the north and deceived them into protesting, but SW resisted. That one has already failed because igbos saw the games and decided not to take part in any protest.
We are waiting for plan c
Is English your problem now read this slowly "If it's left for Zik .." I hope my message is loud and clear above all this victim mentality won't help you the world has move one. Power isn't meant for sissy men and this is why it will be difficult for any !gbos man to preside over the affair of Nigeria. sad

Meanwhile we are still waiting for PLAN C against igbos, since plan A and B has failed!!
Playing the victim card as usual even when they are not involved sad . No one is planning anything against the !gbos and no one cares bcs we have more pressing issue as a nation. You guys like to be the victim in every event, !gbos are too sissy little wonder while Awo, Tafawa, and Ahmodu Bello lead the fight for independence. If left for Zik Nigeria will still remain a colony of Britain

Slaves! They can’t even do a proper protest without we Igbos, as you can see no single act of arson in Lagos since we Igbos decided to stay out grin
Shame on you this bcs is a prove that this country can only be peaceful without the !gbos . If !gbos were involved like ENDSARS we all know the violent result angry . And the recent protest SW shows that SW is the most civil and organized society in Africa bcs this is how protest is done in developed world and nowhere in Africa has achieved this type of calmness during protest. Politics › Re: Tinubu Meets Wike At State House Amid Hunger Protests by spiSeyi: 9:35am On Aug 02, 2024
Is Wike the hungry Nigerians undecided this is just a prove that PBAT is more clueless than PMB and lacks problem solving skills. Tinubu should channel this energy to addressing the nation and flood the commodity market with subsidized food items, so that we can at least have 40-50% fall in commodity prices bcs he claimed to have save money from subsidy removal and this is the best time to put the money in to use. grin

Bro we all need to stop this tribal card the fact is PBAT or PO doesn't know that we exist angry . Hardship, hardship, but the business people want to be forced to close down because of a protest.

Just imagine
This insensitive because most biz folks are only going to office/shops for going sake. Most can't even afford to fuel their cars, transport themselves home after a long day of low patronage. If things continue like this in the next few months don't be surprised that Zimbabwe and Venezuela will be a paradise compared to Nigeria.
