You all are aware of this recent development in Rivers State.I use this medium to call on Atiku Abubakar to lead a protest . This is to show you can be a formidable alternative. Just like what they did in 2012, gather like minds and demand the reinstatement of Fubara.
We shall join you. There is no room for this constitutional foul play. |

Forget the bottom wipe comment, the white people also wipe bottoms. There is dignity in labour. You work and you are paid for your services according to the national minimum wage.
Also, Africans and the Caribbeans also offer professional services. Consultants, medical practitioners and nurses also come from other places. May I inform those that care to listen that the white children are not ready to go to school, therefore, foreigners are taking up important jobs in the system.
Do not be discouraged. Never give up. |

I have been reading your defence of Tinubu but I find it difficult to make out any sense of your unrequired defence. Tinubu was the leader of APC for 8 years and now the substantive president for a year plus yet you are here defending a colossal failure. A man who said he was prepared for the job but cannot offer anything. He is only interested in impoverishing Nigerians. In fact, he has nothing to offer. He said he bought the position with his money so what else can one say? trutharena: Nigerians are resilient and will not allow blame to overshadow the great strides our president TINUBU is making. Let’s focus on solutions and support our leaders in building a brighter future for all. |

Since 2015, Igbos continue to warn Nigerians concerning voting certain individuals but other groups would vote such individuals to spite the Igbos.
Latest being in 2023, the Igbos one more time warned other groups not to vote Mr Tinubu but they felt they could do as they wished, thinking it was about the Igbo man on the ballot.
Catapult the whole scenario to today, the whole situation has degenerated. There is serious hunger and poverty in the land due to the inordinate policies of the man at the helm of affairs,Tinubu.
The young generation have decided to protest against the problem. Some misguided individuals want the Igbo man to protest. Hahahaha! Things don't work like that. The Igbos will not protest for you. You brought it upon yourselves. Face it! |

Wike is greedy and heartless. Everybody will see how matured Sim Fubara handled the protesters in a mature way in Port Harcourt.
Wike would have messed up if found in the same situation.
I urge Nigerians and the young people to be resilient. They should articulate their demands constructively so that the world will at least hear them. Nigerian politicians are very wicked. |

Politics › Re: 24 Hours To Hunger Protest, Steps FG Has Taken To Stop Demonstration (Full List) by Splendid235: 5:08pm On Jul 31, 2024 |
Mad:nes is not only when one is roaming the street but also when one knows the truth and still decide to kill it in his / her heart. benuejosh: Okay.
In Nigeria, the protest is as a result of bad state actors who are feeling pained that the election conducted didn't bring them to power even when some came distant third position.
There is hunger in the land. Yes it is true, but what have the individuals done about it? did hunger start today? have they gone to farm? they blame the government and i ask, define government. Are the masses not the authority? are they not the ones who sent people to represent them? What have they done to support those they sent to represent them? If they are hungry they should go to farm and not allow themselves to be used with hunger as an excuse or tool to be used by those who lost out of election to cause chaos.
The rot of over 16 years cannot be cured by just 1 and half year of Tinubu in government. Peter Obi had 8 years as governor of a state yet left Anambra as one of the worst state in terms of development and governance.
Those behind the protest are only calling for anarchy and chaos to make this administration unstable.
Even if the protest ends, untill the farmers harvest their crops, there's nothing that can be done about the hunger. Government can not farm to feed the whole nation. Most Nigerians want everything to be given to them freely without them working for it.
Minimum was increased to about N30k Abia state and Benue that i am aware of were still paying workers about N18k till date. But it is the federal government that they want to blame. Even if it is increased to 200k, federal government will pay her own workers but will the state government pay their workers? will the private sector pay? are the protesters protesting against their state government or against Tinubu? The man -Tinubu- has increased minimum wage. Ask your state governors to implement it and lets see.
Traders in the market are increasing prices in the market at will, are they protesting against those traders? but it is Tinubu that is increasing prices. We need to be wise as a people in this country. The call for anarchy should be resisted by all means and those supporting it should be brought to book.
For me, i am not protesting because the protest is just a call for anarchy. The government is working round the clock to make sure things work out for good.
Don't allow hatred for a particular ethnic group to cloud your sense of reasoning.
Tinubu is working! |

This man is loudmouthed and insensitive. I wish Nigerians can summon courage and do better protest so most of these rubbi:sh individuals will hide. But the issue is that I don't trust anybody in Nigeria. All of them are bribe takers. When they shout, you may think they are shouting for a better thing without knowing they are shouting for their belle. Just show some money and they start fighting for the money and forget the main thing. |
