People that have balls to tell truth to power not Ohaneze. |
Is this a press conference by a minister of a republic? Nigeria is on auto pilot. Arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu would not change anything. |
Today, standard guage railway was inaugurated in Lagos. Some time ago the same standard guage was inaugurated in Kano enroute to Niger republic. But in Portharcourt,it was rather a narrow gauge that was inaugurated. Amaechi and all other so called south south leaders are pure undiluted cowards. Nothing is happening in the so called south south and Niger Delta yet the repayment for the loans of those contracts will come from that part . Nigeria l hail thee. |
Am here waiting for unity beggers......... |
My problem in all these is that the Ohaneze of a group is not dishing out their own statement in the right manner to push back the tirade of these northern elements. |
It is only in Nigeria you would hear a country man wants gratitude from a fellow country man for living in his dormain, doing business or working while also paying taxes. The world is a global village. There is international interactions.A country is a populated community sharing common political affiliation. It is only in Nigeria you hear of state of origin, local government of origin in the same country. It is not favour my compatriots. It is statehood. If they are not comfortable or any other, pls we should end this contraption Enough of this hullabaloo and envy. |
OPINION!!! There is a video making the rounds where the coalition of northern groups is casting aspersions on the Igbo people of Southern Nigeria. In the video, they made several claims including that the Igbo people are ungrateful to them. Pls somebody should help and educate me where and how are the Igbos ungrateful to the north in Nigeria question. |
TheCable Jun 3, 2021 5:45 PM Abaribe: Rounding up Igbo youths, extra-judicial killings won’t end south-east attacks. Enyinnaya Abaribe, senate minority leader, says the federal government must embrace civil approach in addressing security challenges in the south-east. In reaction to the incessant attacks on government buildings in the south-east, the president threatened to clamp down on those “misbehaving in certain parts of the country”. “Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand. We are going to be very hard sooner than later,” he had said. The statement had generated varied reactions, but many people from the south-east found it insensitive considering the experiences of the civil war. Twitter has since pulled down the post. On Thursday, in a chat with Arise TV, Abaribe said the federal government shouldn’t make general assumptions on the attacks in south-east, as that can lead to persecution of innocent people. “Every point that we are that ‘oh! something had just happened’ and then there’s a blanket statement that it’s this set of people, yet none have been gotten and tried. Civil engagement dictates that you investigate, apprehend and prosecute,” he said. “We are happy that Nigerians are seeing that what is here is not an Igbo problem, but a criminal syndicate going around all parts of the county and the government needs to unravel this. If a criminal burn a police station, you do nothing and then go and arrest every villager that you see on the street; which is what is going on in the south-east. “You are not resolving the issue. What you’re letting everybody know is that it is us versus them, which is not a good way of building unity in the country. So, we in our statement now said the inspector-general of police and other security agencies conduct an in-depth investigation, bring and try them in court. “Not to just round up youths that you see, conduct extra-judicial killings and say you’ve resolved the issue. You don’t. You actually pushed it underground and it continued to fester. So, we have been calling for an engagement that will resolve the issue bedevilling the country. “Suppose these attacks being done in quick succession in Igboland are meant to scuttle the proposal for an Igbo presidency — I hope you can also look at it from that perspective. “But we don’t know. And what we’ve been saying is try to fish out some people; try to investigate; try to hold some people and conduct a thorough investigation. Then, we’ll know who is doing this, who their sponsors are and why they are doing it.” Source : www.thecable.ng |
QorQe or Toto is your name, you must be a governor, Senator, rep member or better still a state house member;I ve said my own. You may choose to shade your fear, speak out or continue to reside in your cocoon. |
This is invitation to the balkanization of Nigeria. Southern representatives in the national assembly should move for self determination through the doctrine of necessity. |
It is very unfortunate that South East governors,Senators,Reps members and all the members of houses of assemblies in the south East are cowards. Yesterday, the president made an inciting comment against the easterners.it was devilish to the extent of Twitter removing it.Today,Senator Adamu Bulkachawa has also threatened the Igbos of war. To all these comments,no SE governor, Senator ,Reps member or any notable politician has replied to these inciting comments. My question is what is the problem with these politicians in the SE? Somebody can help me with an answer. |
NwaAmaikpe Never, I repeat never underestimate where this devotion will lead him to. Sometime in 2014, there was a young man with the same devotion in Katsina. Although he didn't wear a suit to sell recharge cards, he was fervent and this devoted. That devotion paid off because today he is a P.A to the President. My people of God, the Lord has sent me here to beg you to never look down on your days of little beginnings; the same god that transformed an 'aboki' gateman from Gwoza into FatherDMW can do it for us. Nwaamaikpe pls are you from Obinkita or where? |
Where are the so called Igbo leaders? It is time to demand for referendum so that the people can decide their fate. |
If he forces the shop occupants to open, will he also force buyers to come to market and do shopping? This is arrant rubbish. |

According to the Arewa youth Congress, the Constitution guarantees Nigerian citizens the right to live and do business in any part of Nigeria. My question now is why have the northern youths and their governments through cultural and religious beliefs denied interested parties the opportunity of selling and consumption of alcohol in northern Nigeria? Secondly, why do they deny Nigerians the chance of undertaking pigery as a business in northern Nigeria? Someone should inform those northern youths that this is Nigeria. We can not follow their dictates. The southern governors have spoken and they have no option than to follow or they can hug any closest transformer. |
Who has ear,let him or her hear. |
To a large extent, politics is for touts in Nigeria. Soludo should not have involved himself in it.If he must,he should aspire for federal opportunities and not this unending attempts at state coffers. Remember Soludo was CBN governor and did well.He made attempt to re-energise the naira at a point by removing a zero from every double digits naira but was refused by government at the time. He should have aspired to lead the country to make a difference with his ideas, not as a governor. Now he has exposed himself to insult to a feather weight . |
But NAIRALAND NOW CONDONE FAKE NEWS. THIS THREAD SUPPOSED TO BE DECLARED FAKE NEWS BEFORE NOW . OR IS IT BECAUSE IT IS AGAINST UNKNOWN MEN GUN? |
