Entertainment / Re: Frank Edoho: Yoruba Guy Is The First Winner Of WWTBAM Not Igbo by SporaD8: 6:27pm On Sep 12
Salewa97:

If you have data, go to Twitter.

It was an Ibo guy that initially said na Ibo person first win grand prize for the show and his people are bragging. Then Frank Edoho responded that it was indeed a Yoruba guy.

So change your comment to Ibo insecurity because Yoruba never even bothered about it in the first place.

You've never seen anything yet!
Wait until that cup, the selfsame cup you use to drink water non-committally every blessed morning get into the hand of an ibo man... And he turns it into his Golden Chalice!
Why did you think these guys are successful in Trade and commerce? They're experts when it comes to valuing their own!
Learn from these and refuse anyone from talking you down!

In 2027, the southeast would vote massively for Tinubu. Everybody must collect. Most Nigerians are unjust and evil because of tribe and religion, Buhari and Tinubu are God's judgement for such actions and he would continue to send such men until we learn to vote for and support worthy candidates.
As ludicrous as the bolded sounded, I won't be surprised if In 2027, the voting pattern plays out that way!
Same script played out in 1999 when SE voted massive for OBJ to spite the SW.

You have a diaries section
That's how you deal with the boredom and restlessness of your mind

Others do so by watching porn and getting addicted to hard drugs

Because you channeled your boredom well.doesnt mean other will know how to. That's what this post sheds light on.

Try to understand before commenting next time
The reason behind the Act of Meditation is what Op just shed alot of light on.
To hide something from a Blackman, put it in a book! ...and give it a ridiculous title!

If you watch pornograghy, just say you watch pornograghy and stop trying to spread garbage and pollute innocent minds. Making children watch pornograghy constitutes child abuse and other criminal charges that anyone who does that ought to be slapped with. What sorta thing is that? Making children sit in an empty room for hours is likewise child abuse. Children should be active and ought to enjoy their childhood as much as they can. That's why extra-curricular activities and sports exist, but I understand these might still be novel concepts in Nigeria. Of course, they will have times when they will be still and quiet, and this is probably how most homes are after parents pick up their kids from school or after-school activities. They'll be tired from the day's activities and will have homework to do that they've to submit the next day. Having them sit in an empty room after finishing their homework because you want to teach them how to get used to boredom is ridiculous and downright abuse. People like you with sadistic practices and mindsets have no business having or raising kids.
You don't read the Op so say after me:
Learn to Read!
Read and Learn
Comprehension is Good
My Teacher Taught me so!
Refrain:
Read and Learn(read and learn)
Read and Learn(read and learn)

cheesy

They very much believe in Science and thats good for them

Unfortunately, Scientists in the future will be too pre-occupied with other things than this

Albert Einstein said "Its silly to yarn for an Afterlife, one life is enough for me"

We can say that these people arent resting in Peace...you cant be at rest while in a wait for something else
The same inefficient, disease-prone, earthbound human body that many can't wait to discard is what these guys would rather waste resources and time to preserve?
In the future, our bodies would have upgraded to higher version while our current body will become obsolete. Imagine preserving my java phones for future use?!
It would make better sense to preserve their memories instead of their bodies. Memories can easily be transferred from one device to another.

Not exactly, but the material can make you float on water and air!
It will become lead when you're about to go aboard any accident-prone vehicle!
What's more? It's has a self cleansing agent(stain-proof)!
Just buy first you won't regret it.
Romance / Re: How I Lost My Friend In A Swimming Pool. by SporaD8: 11:08am On Aug 24
Marvyx:

Bro in the spur and panic of the moment you won't remember all these. Besides, if not for the shit country we are in that safety regulations are non existent, why would the hotel allow people into a pool without life guards present? And if the life guard is leaving for anything, there should be another taking his place.
I'll so hate to find myself in Op's shoe cuz I don't think I'll ever forgive myself if faced with similar situation - the many nightmares and regrets I'll have will definitely drive me nut!!!
I learned swimming in an open lagoon, and practise regularly at many beaches(you should imagine the torture of having the waves turning you all over like clothes in laundry machine, forcing the saltwater deep into your brain and guts) yet...
Now hearing that people (grown up especially) drowned in a calm swimming pool is something I find somewhat incredible!!!

What you've narrated so far actually show the hand of fate at work. It's just too unfortunate your Friend becomes the victim of circumstance.
So Sorry for the lose!

All these struggle for inside swimming pool, no waves, no sandy ground, no undergrowth or weed entangling your legs
I wonder o!
I know people are likely to panic in such situation and obvious solutions seems to take flight at that critical moment. Yet...
Why didn't the Op wait until he was weak before launching his rescue attempt?
Where was the "netted rod" the Op used to feel the drowned body earlier? Couldn't he have extended the Rod to the drowning Guy to stay afloat?

“Just like that. We have a slumping epidemic in our country people and this is becoming worrying at this stage. I don’t know if it is the water we drink or the food we consume that is the trigger of this slumping epidemic but it is worrying. May her soul rest in peace,”
We eat anything anyhow in this country without care about their overall health implications !
I was recently forced to buy another popular brand of butter when I couldn't see my first choice.
I was surprised to discover that, not only did my new choice took longer time to melt in boiling water, it was also elastic like melted plastic!!!
Conclusion: if it took more than 10min for ordinary butter to melt in hot water, I wonder how long it will take for same to digest in the human system!
May we not use our hard-earned money to buy our own death!

Even Dogs don't eat their own - you and that guy are not fit to live among humans.
