Italian Serie A champions, Juventus, has announced the result of midfielder Blaise Matuidi, and defender Daniele Rugani’s second Coronavirus (COVID-19) tests. Juventus, in a statement on its official website on Wednesday, disclosed that the follow-up tests returned negative. “Rugani and Matuidi underwent, as per protocol, a double-check with diagnostic tests for the coronavirus,” the club’s statement read. Former FIFA president, Sepp Blatter, believes that staging the 2022 World Cup away from Qatar is still a possibility amid fresh charges of bribery in the bidding process. Arsenal players have turned down the club’s latest proposal to slash their wages during the ongoing coronavirus crisis, Goal reports. There have been in talks with senior officials over the last fortnight to reach an agreement. Several options have been discussed, but so far none have been met with enough approval to be put into action. LaLiga president, Javier Tebas, has said that a failure to complete the season could end up costing their clubs €1billion in lost TV money, gate receipts, and sponsorship. Former Serbian player and manager Radomir Antic – who managed all of Real Madrid, Atletico de Madrid and Barcelona – has passed away, aged 71.
