Health / Re: Is There Any Solution For Blocked Tubes? by sprinkos: 7:59pm On Apr 21, 2016
WHAT IS INFERTILITY:-It is the inability of a couple to achieve conception having stayed together for one year or more after marriage. Infertility can be classified into two ways as explained below:-
1) PRIMARY INFERTILITY:- This occurs when the individual has never become pregnant before
2) SECONDARY INFERTILITY:-This also occurs when there is history of previous pregnancy whether carried to term or not. Infertility can occur in male(40%) and female (60%).

CAUSES OF INFERTILITY
1) Problems of ovulation (ovary)
2) Problems from blockage of fallopian tubes
3) Problems in the uterus e. g Fibroids
4)Problems associated with sperm in men e. g low sperm count, loss of libido or poor sexual performance, impotence, frigidity etc
5) Systemic diseases (general diseases such as TB,cancer etc
MANAGEMENT OF INFERTILITY
It is managed in the hospital according to the cause:
1) Problem of ovulation:- Stimulation by drugs
2) Problem of tubal Blockage:- Surgical intervention
3) Problem in the uterus:- Surgical intervention
However, we need to meet the nutritional requirements of the body daily for the body to function maximally. Inappropriate nutrition has been linked to organ failure, malfunctions, abnormal growth e. g ( Fibroids) and some of the most profound diseases.
Medical care, though most effective and well respected, no longer represents the final hope as far as infertility is concerned because of the side effects of the drugs high cost and unpredictable outcome of some procedures (e. g surgery)
If you give your body the necessary nutrition needed, it will function well and all the organs will work normally to enable conception.

Health / Re: Millions At Risk As Nigeria Runs Into Vaccine Debt by sprinkos: 2:08pm On Apr 15, 2016
Emekamex:
Millions of children may lose access to life-saving vaccines if Nigeria doesn’t come up with a way to pay a vaccine debt that could rise to N40 billion by 2020, public health experts have said.

Dr Ben Anyene, chairman of the National Immunisation Financing Task Team (NIFT) says,“Without adequate funding for vaccines, the routine immunisation system will experience setbacks such as stockouts of vaccines that will ultimately lead to increased illness and/or deaths from vaccine preventable diseases.”

Speaking in Abuja ahead of a peer-review workshop next week for officials from five Anglophone countries, he said up to 7.5 million children in need of routine vaccination every year could be affected by the shortage of sustainable financing for immunisation—and others across Anglophone West Africa.

According to the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, full immunisation using available vaccines costs around N4,000 per child.
Introduction of new vaccines, including rotavirus, pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, human papilloma vaccine and meningitis A, will push the cost to N14,000 per child, an increase from current $274 million to $435 million a year.

Nigeria pays only 25% of the cost, the rest of it sourced from international partners and donors.
The agency has also projected Nigeria will need $210 billion to fund polio campaign until the country is declared polio-free after going three years without the virus by July 24 next year.

NPHCDA executive director Dr Muhammad Ado says Nigeria has secured funding for polio campaign this year but needs $284 million for 2017. Of that figure, some $8m is to come from government funding.
“Domestic funding for immunisation has to increase,” said Ado. “Domestic funding from Anglophone countries is not as expected…Government alone cannot do it.”

Officials, legislators and health experts from Anglophone Kenya, Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria are to meet in Abuja next week to chart sustainable ways for the region’s government to pay for immunisation.

But NIFT, set up last year by NPHCDA, has suggested an “immunisation trust fund” to bridge the funding gap between funding from the Basic Health Care Provision Fund built into the National Health Act and traditional appropriation for routine immunization.
The trust fund is to pool funding from private sector, willing Nigerians, captains of industry, any willing donor—at the same time being a rallying point for evidence, advocacy and support for domestically-funded immunisation.

Nigeria’s immunisation funding gap is expected to rise from N1 billion next year to N40 billion by 2020 when all arrangement with the Global Alliance for Vaccine Initiative (GAVI) runs out. GAVI began scaling down its co-payment for vaccines after a 2014 rebasing of Nigeria’s economy pushed gross national income from to $2950, surpassing the $1580 eligibility threshold for GAVI support.

Anyene said the loss of GAVI support has placed Nigeria’s immunization at a “critical stage where urgent action is needed to ensure sustainable financing for vaccines, devices, cold chain infrastructure

That's very serious issue. I hope the government of this beautiful country is working on that issue to save the current and yet to come kids. All the best.

I don't know what to do any longer with myself and my life. I have been suffering from depression for as long as I can remember since my early school days but things just seems to be getting worse. I don't have any joy or happiness. I hate my job with a passion and I think am in the wrong profession too. I am not really close to my family and they don't understand me. There is so much going wrong in my life that I don't really want to go into nor I doubt people really care. I just don't want to feel this way anymore. Has anyone that has been depressed that has come out of it? What did you guys do? I really am down on my wits and am having really unsavory thoughts atm. cry sad

There are a few things you can do to improve from depresion like

1. Setting daily goals for yourself to accomplish. This will make you feel positive hence get better.
2. Regular exercise seems to encourage the brain to rewire itself in positive ways thus good for you.
3. Eat Healthy. There's evidence that foods with omega-3 fatty acids like salmon, tuna, spinach and avocado eases depression.
4. Sleep well and enough. Note; If possible, the best place is the most quite and that is no disturbances at all. Just to name a few.

The Russian scientist, Professor Hristo Mermerski, created cure that contains all the essential vitamins, mineral salts, bioactive substances, proteins, carbohydrates and vegetable fats and is recognized by many others as a revolutionary remedy that cured thousands of cancer patient.

“ It’s food that treats the entire body, and the cancer in such an organism just walks away”, said in his lectures, prof. Mermerski.

The mixture can cure spider veins, heal heart diseases, restore the immune system, and cleanse the liver and kidneys. It also improves brain function and memory, protects you from heart attacks and leads to healing of those who have suffered a heart attack or stroke. Many claims that this is the best cure that fights against all types of cancer.

To prepare this remedy, you need:

#Made of Black. Black is dashing, outstanding, attractive and my favorite colour, although am fair in completion. Black might just be the world's most favorite colour following red.. Well, unfortunately you can't wear black on some days due to weather. On a hot sunny day or afternoon...

Read full article and see photos http://www.newsphases.com/2016/04/why-you-should-not-wear-black-clothes.html

Of course black clothes on a sunny day are not that good and this is due to their ability to absorb heat thus increasing temperature. As a result of that, they are unfair.

@ All Mamas, I got this idea necessitated by requests for Dr/Hospital recommendation by oldies and newbies alike. I want to suggest that WIDD includes Drs name and contact details ie if the Mama had a Dr/hospital that guided her to her blessing that she feels is worth recommending. I believe that way we'll have a pool of recommended Drs/Hospitals by location so that any Mama looking for a gynae recommendation can just check out the pool and pick one. I believe it will help old Mamas here and newbies alike who are looking for good gynaes to guide them. Remember to post Country & State against your Drs details. Thanks All.

I can do the collation once it starts flowing in. Any other active Mama/Papa can volunteer to do this oh. May God bless us all, Amen.

NB: Preggy Mamas can come update us on this, I'll make a request on the preggy thread too. Then going forward Mamas can include this in their WIDD once they get their BFP.

Good information for Mamas. Thumps up!!

Good Morning Mummies and Daddies, so early this morning, God led me to open for the first time, the iMissal App I collected via flash Share from my sister for like 2months now. And surprisingly the verse for the day is

Ephesians 6:12 - For our struggle is not with flesh & blood but with the principalities, the powers with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.

1st Random Verse that popped up: 1st Corinthians 11: 12 - For as woman was made from Man, Man is now born by a woman, but All things are from God.

Both verses spoke to me and I thought I should share. In this TTC journey we should remember to also fight principalities and powers while fighting all medical/physical issues. We shouldn't depend on our own understanding, plans, drug protocols etc because All na God. Also we shouldn't disregard going to Drs and taking their advice (where legit/within all reasoning) because ALL THINGS are from God. Do have a great day. Amen.

In the name of Almighty Name, amen.

I wish people knew the importance of these plants how healthy they are. But unfortunately they don't instead they are rushing after processed foods. In short, live food is the best like greens directly harvested from your garden, Avocados, spinach etc.

Personally I believe in greens more than other foods for instance the processed one.
