Lol, I can imagine if he was of another tribe all the negative comments that would have flooded this pages lol... Guess the world can differentiate now when its something good.... Velocitron: Don't you know? He's only Igbo 'cause we're talking about something good. If it were drug trafficking or any other crime, then we'll refer to him as Nigerian. |

I funny how Ibo people are very conscious of tribalism as a negative thing when its against them. I remember the post of the westminster Yoruba Man and the first few comments there.... Im not even yoruba and Niger Delta folks this is a lesson you should learn now they can easily differentiate without a recourse. MeandSum: I can see the Igbos now remember that south south is not Igbo land. How fast things change. Few days ago someone claiming the oil for Igbos LOL
Again, she's Igbo - let's get that out of the way. Unfortunately for those of us abroad it makes no difference because we carry the same passport. |

jo-an: Stella Oduah was absent at the FEC meeting.
President Goodluck Jonathan has set up a three-man administrative panel to investigate the armoured car scandal involving aviation minister, Stella Oduah.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, stated this while briefing journalists after the weekly meeting of the Executive Council of the Federation.
The three-man panel is to be chaired by the immediate past Head of Service, Sali Bello. Other members include the National Security Adviser Colonel Sambo Dasuki, and Air Vice Marshal Dik Iruenebere.
Mr. Abati also confirmed PREMIUM TIMES earlier report that the president has queried Mrs. Oduah asking her to provide explanations on the controversial purchase.
He said the new panel of enquiry is to investigate whether the procurement of the vehicles for about N255 million followed due process or not. The panel is also to look into the main reasons for procuring the vehicles.
Mr. Abati did not state if the minister would step aside while she is being investigated. Mrs. Oduah was conspicuously absent at Wednesday’s FEC meeting.
The spokesman said the panel has two weeks to conclude its task and would give the President the necessary advise on the matter.

Family › Re: Wrong Reasons Why People Marry by spurlge(m): 4:33pm On Jul 02, 2013 |
Amaaskia: Good topic! One should marry when you're absolutely sure you've found someone you love who equally loves you back, and shares, understands, supports your dreams, goals, life style, attributes etc. Someone who totally gets your kinda person and has similar future prospects, wants and all of that. Funny thing is, as long as you have common sense, you'd certainly sense when you've met 'the one'. The connection is usually just natural, like there's no faking of feelings and emotions. You laugh at each other's jokes, understand/appreciate each other's sarcasm, wit or humour. Have similar hobbies, etc. And yes I'm saying this based on experience You're all welcome This is not real, drop the book you are reading and face reality.... You would never have someone dt would satisfy these qualities else you really want them to no 1 is up to these tasks not even you... ask you hubby when he is drunk. |

Nairaland General › Why Do People Celebrate The New Year By Getting Drunk???? by spurlge(op): 2:47pm On Jan 02, 2013 |
i am of the opinion the new year/eve should be a time of sober reflections on how much we have achieved through the year, also that has the proposed set-goals(milestones)have been met, if so how effective if "no" how do you strategise to work your way through a new year to become the person you plan to be, but reverse is the case the way people get wasted is quite alarming and very scary even to the point of violence is this a Lagos thing, Nigeria or the world at large ? |
