The Presidency has reacted to a viral video showing a female aid worker and five male colleagues kidnapped by insurgents in Nigeria’s north-east region.
according to channel TV, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu, said the victims’ abductors were being engaged.
According to an aid group, Action Against Hunger, one of its staff members along with three health workers and two drivers were missing after their convoy was attacked on Thursday last week.
In the three-minute video, the woman said she was the abducted aid worker and identified the five others with her as her colleagues.
In a series of tweets on Thursday, Mr Shehu said the Presidency was aware of the video while they were assured that the captors were being talked to.

Hours after Tacha got back into the house with Seyi following their fake eviction on Sunday, she had a heart-to-heart conversation with Mike over their stand-off on Saturday.

Precious Owolabi, the 23-year-old youth corps member serving in Channels TV who was killed in the cross fire between the Police and Shi'ites members in Abuja yesterday July 22nd, died after several hospitals he was rushed to allegedly rejected him.

A colleague of the deceased, Chamberlain Usoh hinted on this while speaking on Channels TV live this morning.

We do know that we have taken the Former Minister of Health on this issue and he said that the hospitals have got to treat these people. The National Assembly also waded in on this particular scenario. It turns out that it is not yet been fully implemented''.

Kathy Zhu, also a University of Michigan student, was dismissed as a Miss World America pageant participant a day after she was crowned when the organization claimed the content of her social media was "offensive, insensitive and inappropriate."

Zhu is a well-known conservative political commentator and online figure, amassing approximately 80,000 followers in her Instagram and Twitter accounts combined. She is a supporter of President Donald Trump.
"I have seen this happen before," Zhu said. "It is just not OK to be prejudiced against people who just have a different political view as you.”

Domestic workers and relatives of Goodluck Jonathan are currently under investigation over stolen valuables including jewelries worth over N300m belonging to the former President. 
One of the suspects and management staff of Mrs. Jonathan’s Aridolf Resort, Hotel and Spa illegally duplicated the keys to the rooms where the valuables were kept. The Nation reported that the suspects broke into the palatial home of Jonathan in Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area thereafter, and allegedly stole the valuables including customised walking sticks.
“It was not done by outsiders. The suspects have been working for the former first family. They decided to help themselves. One of them is a domestic servant, who is responsible in keeping the key to the room where the treasure was kept.

“The other ones share some relationship with former President Jonathan. I know that the police arrested some of them. I don’t know the monetary value of the stolen items . Only Patience Jonathan can say the value.

Tuoyo, the physiotherapist and stripper, became the only evicted housemate in the third week of the Big Brother Naija reality show.

This Sunday's eviction show had two fake evicted housemates and they were Seyi and Tacha. Tuoyo on the other hand was the unlucky one after being nominated for eviction alongside Mike, Tacha, Seyi and Frodd.

At the stage when being shown those who nominated him for eviction, Tuoyo, the fifth housemate to leave the reality show expressed surprise when Frodd popped up because according to him, they've been bonding in the last few days.
