Ashirioluwa: That’s not how to run business. They already factored all those in the tickets price. Airlines have downtime and peak seasons. They will use the peak period to compensate the downtime period.
For flight cancellations, I don’t think is proper for customers to be begging them before they can get their money refunded to them.
I flew from LAX to Sydney on American Airlines with less than 60 people on board. The plane can accommodate over 250 passengers. Abroad you have an organized way of doing things and you know all your cost and maintenance upfront. You have Boeing maintenance crew in most European countries, of I need to service a plane intensively, the Boeing crew will come from South Africa or even the US and it will shoot up your maintenance cost, furthermore, the direct and indirect taxes imposed on you by FAAN and the FG, is massive compared to other countries, it cost more to fly from London to Nigeria than flying from London to the US. We have had many airlines go bankrupt in Nigeria because the just couldn't cope with the cost of doing business. Finally if Air Peace Should factor in all the cost in their ticket, I believe the lower middle class will not be able to afford it. It is tough running an airline business anywhere in the world, it is toughest over here |

Ashirioluwa: Good news, but they need to work on their customer service support especially in areas of - Flight delays - Flight cancellations - Refunds
By 3 months after flight cancellations, some folks are still waiting for refunds. Aviation business is financially risky, imagine flying from Lagos to Benin with less than 40 people? You are already flying at a loss, and you have to maintain your planes to meet standards these periodic maintenance you pay in USD. Instead of you to incur huge losses, omo na to cancel the flight, or you reroute to another location and get more passengers. |

It is better to travel via Abuja, at least you will skip the madness of both the security agencies on uniforms and those on plain clothes in Lagos airport |

"We demand to be applauded. We demand to be appreciated by our country". “He also announced a big win for the airline, noting that Air Peace has secured flight slots at London’s Heathrow Airport and will begin Abuja-to-London flights from October 26". “Our daily flights to London are going well. Come October 26, we start Abuja-London. The British authorities have granted Air Peace Heathrow. “That is a testament to their belief in what we are doing,” Onyema said. He thanked the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo and President Bola Tinubu for supporting the airline’s international growth. source: https://punchng.com/air-peace-boss-slams-critics-announces-heathrow-slot/ |

richyblink1: You refer to Okowa as an heavy weight? in politics you can never underestimate anyone, hence it is better to have a paper weight on your side than to have the paper weight against you. Tinubu won the last election with just over 2m votes that is the size of just 3 local governments in some states |

Henix: How? Elaborate
I thought he wants to see the end of PDP? Naaah Wike was relevant to Tinubu because he was one of the heavy weights politicians from the SS, now with people like Okowa and others joining, Tinubu now have a lot of people to turn to in the SS, hence his influence will begin to diminish. |
Education › Re: Would My Children Be Good In Maths? by SSpeter(m): 6:45pm On Apr 28, 2025 |
Angelfrost: Mathematical excellence is not necessarily genetic sir.
If you probably devoted your mind to learning and understanding it with passion, you would have been good at it... Same with every other subject.
Your mind and passion were clearly elsewhere, which is quite fine. Everybody shouldn't have the same interests.
Just train your kids properly... They will find their own interests and passions. Math skills are inherited, however if you teach a child very well he can do above average |
