Na some of una wey get their time. During my mum's burial. We did it just the way we want and ignored majority of their demands.
One of my younger brother a soldier brought his men, he said he wants to see who will disrupt the burial in the name of we didn't meet their obligations.
Burial went well and smooth and everyone was happy.

Looking at the war in Ukraine and the war between the US and Iran I have reached a level of understanding where achieving your objectives are not only important but the cost of achieving your objectives are also important.

When Russia invaded in 2022, the goal was simple, seize Antonov airport, land heavy equipment and takeover Kiev. When that could not be achieved, Russia changed the objective to the 4 Oblasts. Both sides are taking in huge casualties and the real economic outlook for both countries are down. Ukraine is on Eu life-support while Russia real economy is shrinking.

you only know what you are exposed to and that doesn't tell the real story. No you don't have to know the exact problems of a company to apply for the CEO role. You only need to meet the requirements which includes you having the capacity to solve problems. However, you need to diagnose to know the real problem of a company. I can draw up a business case for you and show you the obvious challenges and ask you to diagnose the root cause in the case study. I am willing to give you this challenge if you are interested.

it depends on oil prices. If global oil price rises the US companies increase production to high levels and make good money. However, if oil prices drops, they do not find it lucrative to drill excessively, hence they just import.

Yes it was, I was an SBO then, however, my business was already given me more than what a full manager earned. It would take me minimum of 10years to get to a full manager from where I was. Hence, it was not worth it staying when I could use that time to network, travel and expand.

Did Banking for six years, during those periods, I managed wealthy clients, studied their business value chains and inserted myself along the value chain. I took mad risks and bets and it paid off. I resigned from banking and life has been good.

I am Igbo but the region that will suffer the most if Nigeria split today within southern Nigeria is the south east. They may pickup later due to how hard working and smart their people are but the first 10 to 20 years would be brutal. But u see south west, they will start smiling instantly.
