Please just to understand you clearly.. I got my approval in October 2025 and I have also been waiting for the official seal and stamp. How do we know when it's ready

Any exams? Total duration? Total expected cost? Other key information to take note of.

Kindly check coren website and read through the instructions on how to register. If have more questions from there we are always here to help

Mine was pending for over 3weeks before finally getting through. Just have to be patient

If after paying your portal still says pending, there are 3 things you can do.
1. Refresh that payment page
2. If 1 doesn't work, log out and log in
3. Go to payment status on the portal homepage, input your RRR code and click verify. (It may return it as pending the first time, do it again it should show it as successful).

The same method has not worked for me. It's almost two weeks now

I've paid for full registration since Monday but my profile still shows pending. Please who knows how I can go about it

Please does anyone have any information concerning some of us that has been approved by council, all details verified but my profile is still at 60% completion and I haven't received the message on my page that allows me to pay the fees and get my license

I didn't do anything. I only received a mail confirming my payment and my status changed from pending to completed

After successful payment what next?

Refresh the page, or log out and log in back. It should show that you're fully registered and display your registration number

After successful payment and registration will you be able to get the certificate immediately

Don't reapply if you have successfully submitted your application earlier. You can always retrieve your application from the portal.

For applicants with Bsc/HND, ensure you submit your application with your NYSC certificate number.

How to login to a practitioner portal.

Open the portal ( portal.coren.gov.ng) and click on practitioner.
1. Click on forgot password.
2. Enter your COREN number and click on reset password.
3. A message will appear " login credentials has been reset and sent to your mail with your mail in bracket if it exists in your portal. " *IGNORE THAT"*
4. Go back to the practitioners portal and type your COREN Number as user name and password and click on login
5. Reset your password with your COREN number as current password.
6. Update your profile. You pay your dues and download your license or if u are up to date, download your license.

I need the opinion of property lawyers here. My late father bought a land in 1992, with hand written sales agreement. however our father died last four years ago and the person that sold the land to us is also late.

Fast forward to last two years someone came and put a pillars around the land and put a big notice board with an inscription 'Land for Sale'

We finally took the case to court, and we noticed that the same land grabber is clamming that they bought the land from the same person that sold the land to our father, although we have witness which are the children of the man that sold the land to our late father and other people that bought the land together with my father.

Now, in court the defence team is claiming that we abandoned the land for more than 15 years, that is why they are laying claim to the land.

Is there any law in Nigerian that said you can claim a land that is inhabited in the bush and it becomes yours ?

Note: the said land is in the bush and no developments is there presently and the land grabber only put pillars on the land.

Secondly, should in case we win the case, can I claim damages for trespassing in to our land and wasting our time and resources on court case.

The land is in our rural town.
