Is Lagos State run as a little Sicily? I really don't have any other words to describe how Lagos seems to be run, other than some type of Mafia state. ....Is it just me who has tried to envisage what BAT would look like in a trilby hat and beige cashmere coat? The level on voter intimidation in the state is beyond disgusting. Some people think an undemocratic Nigeria is best for their children. Oh, sorry their children are not home but abroad; enjoying the fruits of freedom and democracy elsewhere... #FreeLagos #NoTaxationWithoutRepesentation |
Themanleshey:-------- Since when is where your mother from, your state of origin?? GRV is Yoruba, even the blind know this. |

Make it make sense.... 1. Sanwo-olu, condemns the playing of the tribal card on Arise News; after literally having created a job for MC Oluomo and payrolling him (he had even gone as far as previously cancelling the Lagos contracts of two organisations that did not want to associate with Oluomo)....Seriously if that isn't talking from both sides of your mouth, what is? The failure of him and Lagos security forces to reign in on this man, tacitly faciltated a great deal of the thuggery witnessed today, and a fortnight ago. 2. Do these people want and believe in One Nigeria? Because some of them are sounding more Ipob than Ipob, fr. 3. Happy for TAXES to be creamed off the entirety of Lagos residents which go to line the pockets of your masters but object to those very citizens voting and having their interests politically represented??! NOT DONE in a DEMOCRACY. #NoTaxationWithoutRepresentation |

A 21 day boycott of beef purchases is due to take place from this Thursday 26th April, in protest of the killings by Fulani herdsmen at the beginning of the month and during Easter weekend in Benue and Kaduna states, respectively. *See info below that is being circulated via WhatsApp, text and social media. We have seen boycotts work elsewhere. The often quoted example is South Africa during the Apartheid era. Also in recent times we have witnessed how boycotts or the threat of boycotts form a resonant part of the political landscape in the USA (the Gay lobby for example, will try and bankrupt your behind if you are a baker/ photographer/florist etc. and don’t wish to offer gay people services). The question though is: Can a boycott/s of beef purchases play a part in countering killings and rampages by Fulani herdsmen in rural areas, in Nigeria? I say YES. If we come together and want it to. Money Talks. More POWER to you. What do you say? 21 Day Beef Boycott Don’t Buy Beef on: Thu 26 Apr - Wed 17 May 2017 #SayNoToBloodBeef #NoKillingsForCows |
Money Talks: In response specifically to the killings of farmers and villagers, raping of women and damage to crops in Benue and Kaduna states, in the month of April 2017, a 21 Day Boycott of beef purchasing is being called across Nigeria from Thursday 26th April - 17th May. Nigerians from all corners of the country, both Christian and Muslim are being asked to show solidarity with the victims of Fulanese herdsmen who have been murdered, assaulted and have had their farmland invaded and their crops damaged. Further beef boycotts will be organised, if future attacks and rampages by Fulanese herdsmen occur in Nigeria. People have been asked to forward the message below repeatedly to their contacts via, WhatsApp, text or email, twitter and Instagram, leading up to Thursday 26th April and during the 21 Day boycott period: 21 Day Beef Boycott Don’t Buy Beef On Thu 26 Apr - Wed 17 May 2017 #SayNoToBloodBeef #NoKillingsForCows Forward to ur contacts until 17th May |
Hopefully Christians sin the UK will become more organized and economically assertive as they are in the States. |
I certainly won't be shopping at Tesco this Christmas. |
If you don't care about my posts why comment? As for anger you should check your own comments/ language. I haven't insulted anybody nor have I singled out homosexuals for God's wrath. You make gross generalisations about Christians based on what exactly? There are millions of Christians on this planet. Can you claim to know even a nano-fraction? I don't mind reasoned debate/ discussion. If though, you just want to be vitriolic, please go and darken somebody elses thread. |
The Head of Research & Development at Tesco (the biggest supermarket chain in the UK) - Nick Lansley, has branded Christians who uphold the biblical view of marriage as being between a man and a woman, as 'evil'. http://www.christian.org.uk/news/christians-are-evil-for-backing-marriage-says-tesco-rd-boss/?e161211 |
The above editing reads quite awkwardly so below is my post again:- If anybody be it this Joel guy or a preacher man says anything that contradicts scripture, ignore them and follow scripture. Christ didn't just come down to let us know that God loves us, he told us to repent - this is part of the Good News message. Whether you think He should be or not, God is concerned about our 'intimate' morality. Having intercourse does not make you a sinner, have illegitimate intercourse (i.e sex outside of marriage) does. I Cor 6.9 quite clearly states that homesexual offenders and fornicators will not make it into the Kingdom, and that we should not be deceived to think otherwise. Do not shoot the messenger. I am a heterosexual woman and I am waiting until I get married before I have intercourse. Who are you to speak for all Nigerians?? We have all erred, it is true. It is however, one thing to make a mistake in life, it is another thing to set up camp in the enemies quarters and to be brazenly living in rebellion. The words we reject in scripture, Christ said will be the same ones that will condemn us when we die. If you are not going to be hot for God then you are as good as cold, as He rejects lukewarm anyway, Rev 3:16. |

Lasinoh, it is clear from reading the New Testament that not everyone who says 'Jesus, Jesus', is truly a Christian. |
