So the ministry will end up regulating nomadic and free range grazing of cattle.

Is that not what we all want?
No what 'we' want is to crush the bandits not all this jamboree

Zamfara: Governor Lawal reacts as court frees bandits following order from Abuja
14 Jun 2024 — Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has faulted the state judiciary for granting bail to some suspected bandit leaders who were arrested

It's practically impossible to have a smart APC supporter, like what smart person can lie himself to his own destruction??

Once the ministry is formed, bandits will drop their guns right?
This is just a waste of time and resources!
Check out how the president of El Salvador dealt with his country's gang (who had become terrorists) problem
You don't pander to criminals especially since these people are the biggest cause of food shortages,

What they couldn't do in smaller West African countries is what they are achieving here, we have been held ransom, the next part is to consider the payment Gumi recommended!

But you are free to joke around with what is probably waiting for you in the nearest future

You don't even know how much loan he took. He said he paid it off, and that is his truth.
Entry level employees do get more than 86k after tax depending on the job or company.
Firstly, you are not coming into the company with any new knowledge except those gotten from college like others, neither are you coming in with patents or recommendations, you don't get paid that amount!

But you do school feeding nonsense and cash transfers to the poor? Trader money,
I would keep telling you guys to take a critical look at the country you are living in before you allow these clowns called politicians defeat the coming generation before they even realize it

Chairman. During that era, the value of our currency was same with that of UK. People were even reverse japa-ing during that era. Times have changed, and Nigeria is no UAE or Cuba. Even though our political office holders are crooks. Alot of them can conveniently help so many students through universities from their constituency money and allocation, but greed won't let them.

Although, I have a friend that's a legislative member in LASG. He is doing is best by sponsoring some students in university and even buying JAMB forms for all students trying to gain admission in his legislative constituent. Imagine if others were like him.
Wrong answer, everybody else thought it was a bad idea except Awo and a few, of course Awo could have decided on a loan and everyone would have thought it was dandy, like you if u were in that era,

Sir, no entry level employee gets 86k$ after tax,
Examine what people say to the reality on ground, don't just believe people online!
You just don't leave school and start earning 86k

Most causes duration here are five years.

Total ....1.5m

How much is this , if they get a good job?

U must always see things with your bitter mind.
I am a realist,
According to the federal government itself, about 5% have over 500,000 naira in their account!
Do you guys even pay attention to your country?

Oga, u can't earn less than 60k$ and pay off 30k in 1 year! Even Dave Ramsey would only give that advice to people earning above 80k-100k !

My point is why such cheap lies?

But still, I can't compare Nigeria to The US. But if you do well in Nigeria too, you can get a good job in Nigeria. E.g. Jarus talks on this alot.
"Of all fields, STEM majors have the highest starting salary at $57,900 per year, as well as the highest mid-career salary at $108,300 per year.."

It's impossible to pay ur loan of about 30k when you are an entry level employee!

PoliticsRe: Comparing Petrol Costs: A Higher Burden On Nigerian Workers by StaffofOrayan(m): 6:17pm On Jun 29, 2024
RepoMan007:
it is from GDP that govt extract taxes and taxes in the hands of govt determines what they can afford. In out case we were using oil to substitute taxes. That meant everyone could afford to be unproductive and still get paid. This is why refinery isnt working. Staff get paid irrespective of production.

Unfortunately, we have huge loans to repay and oil money has been largely booked for that. The way out seem to be taxes but taxes is dependent on productivity level of the economy.

A system where there is no security, incentives, power, or supporting amenities for productive workforce is the result of years of eating oil money directly.

If you tax the people too much, small business will collapse and people will revolt as we saw in kenya. I did a topic that this past week. Check it out.
Refinery not working has nothing to do with what you said up there, the issue of refining crude oil in Nigeria is a scam that keeps giving and it coincidentally aligns perfectly with the economy of Europe, so they keep it alive,

Secondly, the way out can never be taxes! That just lacks so much sense!, and it is worth noting that any talk of tax is directed majorly at the few viable states in the country which seem to fall in the south, or what tax are you expecting from a zamfara or Borno even Sokoto?

The solution to losing weight can never be starving

Beautifulday:
People talking about regional government are foolish. Majority talking about it voted Buhari and Tinubu. They know nothing about government.

There is no government without power and fund.

The above two makes regional government impossible.

When we had regional government, there was no governors. The regional government heads were called governors.

Regional government with governors means two presidents per region.
I think the fooolish people are those that want to continue with a system of govt that was drafted with an AK 47 and had zero input from the populace to be governed!,
The bill won't pass, no Nigerian politician would jeopardize what clearly favours them, and the people haven't been told the inherent benefits
