Crime / Disco Laments Rise In Energy Theft by stainlink(m): 9:36pm On Jul 20 |
Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company has lamented the rise in energy theft in the past three months of the Band A tariff increase. This is even as the DisCo threatened that offenders caught in the act of energy theft would be immediately charged to court, reiterating that the era of merely imposing loss of revenue penalty alone on offenders is over. The company made this announcement at its July Stakeholders Forum. In a statement made available to our correspondent on Saturday, Ikeja Electric’s Head of Corporate Communication, Kingsley Okotie, lamented the increase in energy theft, “especially over the last three months following the implementation of the reviewed tariff on Band A feeders”. Health 360: Cholera0:02 / 1:01 Okotie noted that the company and the entire electricity value chain cannot survive if energy theft goes unchecked. “The theft is massive and the company cannot guarantee meeting customer expectations if this ugly trend continues. Ironically, some perpetrators believe that if they haven’t been caught, there are no consequences. This is false, and we must change the narrative,” he said. Okotie stated that for the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry to survive, all stakeholders must fight in unison against theft, as the pilfering of electricity hinders the stability of the sector. He emphasised that whatever happens to the power distribution companies affects the entire industry. https://punchng.com/ikeja-disco-laments-rise-in-energy-theft/ |

Sports / Israel Adesanya Knocks Out Alex Pereira by stainlink(m): 6:40am On Apr 09, 2023 |
Israel Adesanya avenged his UFC title loss to Alex Pereira in the biggest way possible, stopping the Brazilian champ to reclaim the belt at UFC 287. The win came just five months after Adesanya was stopped in the fifth round of a fight he was winning against Pereira, who twice beat him in the kickboxing ring. https://twitter.com/i/status/1644921719495196674 https://twitter.com/FireMMAVid/status/1644932390559555585?t=cGVo2Gj9XJzQUyQmnh4MJQ&s=08 1 Like |

Nagini: You can't Sir. Your CGPA is a cumulative of all your 5 semester results. So it means you average 3.95 in 5 semesters 3.95 x 5 = 19.75 5.0 x 3 = 15.00 maximum possible points 5 each 19.75 + 15 = 34.75 34.75 / 8 = 4.34 (Maximum possible CGPA) all the best |

While coming to Abuja from the South, stop at Giri junction which is after Gwagwalada. Then you can take a taxi (mostly unpainted) to Immigration head quarters along Airport road, Lugbe. While coming to Abuja from the North, stop at Giri junction which is after Zuba, Tungan Maje, and Anagada. Then you can take a taxi (mostly unpainted) to Immigration head quarters along Airport road, Lugbe. If you have to stop at Mararaba / Nyanya for those from Nasarawa, Venue etc. Take a taxi going to Lugbe/Gwagwalada and stop at Immigration head quarters along Airport road, Lugbe. Taking a flight? Airport taxi will take you directly to the Immigration headquarters. Stay safe, stay alert. 5 Likes |
