Its OK to see it from that angle. In life there are classes, and these classes determine what business, job one can get.

An shop owner (like "aboki" selling provision has his role to play in the community he does his trade, if he decides to employ someone with the agreement of paying below the minimum wage because thats the only reasonable thing to do giving the income the business get. You do not expect him to pay out of his capital to pay his employee.

So many people are grateful for having a job which is not an end but a means to get busy and position themselves for higher wages.

Cases are different.

There are employers that barely get up to the 70k as profit at the end of the month.

Say, an employer that run a business center in a remote location or a petty food seller that has a small stand somewhere that can barely feed the family.

How about a private school that has few students and a sizable number of staff.

These simple words have somehow become controversial in Nigerian politics. Supporters of certain parties instantly see it as a coded attack instead of what it really is—basic common sense. When did urging people to think before voting become offensive? True patriotism isn’t defending every flaw in your party simply because it’s “your side.” Blind loyalty, whether to party A, party B, a new party or any other party, keeps recycling the same failures. Conscience doesn’t wear a party logo. If a candidate is corrupt, incompetent, or lacks vision, your conscience should reject them regardless of the flag they’re flying. Real democracy dies when partisanship overrides judgment. We need to separate the message from the messenger and start demanding better from whoever wants to lead us.
