Good evening fam. I believe everyone’s doing okay. Please I’m caught in a dilemma. I have up to 5m and i have two options.
1. Get a high paying fed job
2. Go for msc programme in canada.
I believe everyone’s mature enough here to share their candid opinion.
I’ll be reading the comments. Thank you!

I would suggest you move to the UK for your masters cause it’s easier and quicker after which you can migrate to Canada through express entry.
Applying for MSc to Canada can be frustrating and time wasting especially if you don’t get the visa. 6 months gone while you could be in the Uk already half way through. A lot of people who migrated to Canada over the years did their masters in the Uk.
Lastly you can easily get double your 5mil after you are settled if you still wanna do business in Nigeria. You won’t be afraid to fail anymore cause you have backup.

It's great you're yet to complete your bsc because then no gaps to explain. However it's also a little bit of a downfall for you.
I think vo ticked the above because you do not have anything to tie you to your home country.
If indeed your bsc and chosen msc are in alignment then I'd suggest this to you: defer your program to next year may or even fall 2017. Finish your degree. Get a future employment letter with a good company in your field of study and if possible work there atleast for some months.Make sure you add anything that your parents owe and anything that you owe. If you'd inherit something then state it and add the evidence thereof. You're young. So it's a good thing to be sponsored by your parents. And your sop should be riddled with pointers to your coming back home to work after school.

Actually I don't school in Nigeria and I contacted the embassy before applying and they said I cld apply before completing my degree since its in June and i have been travelling to a lot of countries which is one reason I think they feel I won't return back. Thanks a lot for the advice, will come in handy.

Sorry about your delay
Did you submit proof of funds for your sponsor? Academic credentials? What school where you admitted to and what course? What course are you studying? Explain the bolded too. To get a clearer picture of why you got denied, request for your GCMS file

By proof of funds u mean bank statement? Yes I did. I also submitted my transcript and a letter from my university. The school I got admitted to is Memorial University. I am currently studying oil and gas engr and that is what I got admitted to study for my Msc. Besides in the letter they gave me, they didn't tick the box of insuffient fund and resources without working in Canada. The personal asset and financial status was ticked under not satisfied that you would leave Canada after ur studies.
Lastly how can I apply for my GCMS file? Thanks for your time

Good day everyone.
I was recently denied a study permit for the reasons above:
-Purpose of visit
-Length of proposed stay in Canada
-Person assets and financial status
For the personal assets and financial status, I submitted documents stating that my dad is my sponsor, attached bank statements and sponsorship letter and I am supposed to complete my Bsc this June with intention to start my Msc in sept and do not have assets.
I would love to get your various opinions on this
