Parents of the students who were kidnapped from a model college in lagos paid a 31m ransom to their abductors for the release of their kids.
This came exactly 53 days of their kidnapped where the kidnappers had notified the school about their intentions.
The kidnap which was carried out of thursday morning, 2 days after the notification where 10 pupils were taken to the riverside and screened based on their family background after which four were released and six taken away in a speedboat.
The parents had paid 10m early for the release of their kids but the abductors asked them to pay an additional 21m to get their kids.
The parents are hopeful to reunite with their kids as it has made one week since paying the ransom and the kidnappers had confirmed the money was complete and promised to release the kid within the next two days.
