This is a drug reaction called Steven johnson's syndrome. This reaction affects mostly the skin. It could also affect internal organs of the body if not we'll managed. Steven johnson's syndrome can happen to anybody because each individuals body makeup is unique. People react differently to different drugs. The boy may have reacted to one of the drugs. The most common drug associated with this syndrome is septrin.so once you take a drug a notice any adverse reaction,run to the hospital before it deteriorates. I repeat, it can happen to anybody.
