Here is what i think u should give a shot. Avoid concentrating on his weak areas and see more of his positive areas. Have him dressed as u wish and try as much as possible to involve him in most of the things u do like eating together, watching movies and football too. Hanging out with him once in a while can also be magical as well. Equally important is ur mind set. It's not easy but try and always have the right mind set and attitude towards him.
