A new national poll is showing good news for the GOP's presumptive nominee Donald Trump. The poll, conducted by Morning Consult, shows the New York real estate mogul pulling even with his likely opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
According to the survey, Clinton and Trump are polling at 42% and 40% respectively. The difference between the two candidates falls within the survey's 2% margin of error, making it essentially an even race. Clinton is down 2 percent from a week ago, while Trump has gained 2 points within the same timeframe.

Trump is also making gains amongst key demographic categories he'll need to win the general election. Morning Consult writes:

The new poll shows Trump making gains among independents, women, and those who classify themselves as moderates. He increased his support among independent voters by 3 points, while Clinton’s support fell by 2 points. Support from women for the former Secretary of State also fell by 2 points, while Trump’s increased by 2 points. And among moderates, the new poll shows Clinton only holding a 10-point lead over Trump (46 percent to 36 percent), down from a 17-point lead (49 percent to 32 percent) in the previous poll.

Both Trump and Clinton have nearly identical unfavorables, with 41 percent of voters having a favorable view of Hillary, compared with 39 percent who have a favorable view of Donald Trump.

Two female executives who worked closely with Donald Trump at separate times spoke out on The Kelly File about their experiences. Barbara Res worked for Trump for 18 years, between 1978 and 1996. She served as the vice president in charge of construction of Trump Tower, and figured prominently in a recent New York Times article about Trump's history with women. Res said that when their working relationship began, Trump didn't say anything that seemed sexist, but that changed over the decade. "Slowly but surely, he started saying more things that surprised me, up to this day," Res said, later adding that he made a comment about women's bodies to an architect in 1991, and also directed at her about her weight gain. I have made my point.

Hillary clinton is one of the corrupt big money politicians the voters are trying to edge out from washington just like the Bush family. If hillary becomes the nominee Trump will beat her black and blue. All her scandals will be brought forth one after the other for the world to see.

I'm not weary of presenting facts to your arguments but am exhausted from reading your internet fed delusion.

You know absolutely nothing about most of the things you've raised here.Your knowledge about Hillary is biased and extremely shallow.
Typical when they can't get their point across they call names and insult their opponents.

Obviously your American friends are feeding you bunch of crap. Have been following Trump since 80's and the guy like I said is a misogynistic bigot. I don't have to debate about politics here with you but you saying Republicans make a large chunk is true as well as saying Democrats makes a large chunk too. Whom do you think the KKK, Stormtroopers and the other White Nationalists supporting, it's your golden boy Trump. He has a subliminal way of sending messages to his fellow bigots. Still expecting you to tell me his (Trump) pathway to getting 270 Electoral votes to win the Presidency ?.
You have been following trump since the 80's common give it up. Trump has been the darling of everyone till he became a presidential candidate. Hillary and trump where even pals. Everyone loved trump till he decided to run for president. BTW a faction of the KKK have endorsed Hillary but you wouldn't see that on your everyday news just google it.
As for the pathway to getting 270 electoral votes, you are still underestimating this guy. Just watch and sEe what willl unfold

I'm done arguing with you, clearly you have little knowledge of American politics.

Who are those that filed the FOI for her records as Sec of State?Who are those currently and actively working to see her indicted by the Feds?

The GOP started it all with the Benghazi case. They knew she was going to run for Presidency,so they strategized early enough to bring down her prospects of even considering to run. They called her to Congress where she was grilled for 13 hours, what was the outcome?Nothing, absolute nothing.Hillary was not found wanting for any wrong doing.

Seeing they lost there, they pursued for her records immediately after her exit as Secretary of State. The only loophole they found was the private email server which they thought,”Oh she's done once this is out”.Fourteen months on and no wrongdoing has been announced yet.

The same GOP forget how NSA did not respond to Hillary's request for a secure phone almost a year when she stepped in to the State Department. They can now run their shameless mouths that the private server must have leaked sensitive informations to enemies. So the NSA didn't know sensitive information could also be leaked when she never had a secure phone as Secretary of State.

Guess what, the only hacker that has supposedly gotten within the corridors of the server claims he found nothing worthy to retrieve or leak out.
You don't have proof about this plus don't even broing out her record as SOS because Libya syria ukraine and other disasters are all her handiwork. She looked at the families of the victims of Bengazi and lied to their faces. She's the worst why would anyone wanna support a woman who has consistently lied on everything. She is what America does not need right now.

Her records are out there and they are not very pleasing she's the worst.

Obviously you don't know a didly square about American politics to say Trump doesn't hate anyone. He's a misogynistic bigot and being supported by the likes of David Duke, the white supremacists and Stormtroopers like Crazy Ted Nuggets. I wish you concentrate more on Nigeria politics and the corrupt worthless leaders and leave US politics to those who know about it. Calling Hispanics rapists and drug dealers and threatening to ban Muslims and calling people that disagree with him ugly names. Is that hateful enough ?.
You don't get it at all. There is never a time Trump called Latinos rapists, this is a man that has employed thousands of Latinos and Blacks in his companies . Yea he suggested a temporary ban on muslims entering the Us until the authorities figure out what the hell is going on. Giving what is happening around the world that's not such a bad idea.
In all his so called hate speech Trump have never declared hatred on anyone or group of people. But hillary said openly that she hates The republicans now is that presidential at all? Given that republicans makes up a large chunk of the country.

First of are you American? If you're not, please don't claim to know what America needs or what Americans want.If you are American and you truly support Trump, well your free will and your choice but that is a very terrible choice. The Presidency of the United States is not a TV Reality Show.

Hello, elections are meant to be won or lost. There is a clear frontrunner with or without Superdelegates.

White House is not Kings Landing and we sure won't have Geoffrey(Trump) as King.America wants the breaker of Chains,Mother of all Americans.Hillary is the next POTUS,let's stop arguing.

It's funny how Sanders Supporters keep whining about Superdelegates when in fact he Sanders has fourty of them despite the fact that he has never been a Democrat up until he decided to run for the Presidency.Am sure any Superdelegate would support a candidate who is actively fundraising for Democrats to hold seats from local boards to the Senate unlike a candidate who has been taking $27 donations for his campaign and his pockets alone.

I think people are really blinded by who Sanders truly is.He has shown desperation and selfishness. This is someone who has spent $74million on Ads(90% of these ads are attacks against Hillary).Tell me why any Superdelegate would support someone attacking the same platform vehemently.Democrats in Congress and beyond trust Hillary Clinton not just because she's been campaigning and raising funds to keep them in their seats and elect more democrats but more because they know they can work with her policies as President.

Sanders as president cannot work with a Democrat controlled Congress not to think of a GOP controlled one.

I said it before,I really don't know how Sanders expect the party to hand him the ticket.I'm glad Democrats have made a right choice cause if Sanders is the nominee,it'll be painful watching how the GOP eats him up,chew him into shreds then nail his tiny bits to a cross.
I don't care about sandals abi na sandars all I am saying is that If Hillary can't defeat sanders then she has. A big problem on her hands.

P.s I don't have to be an American to knoww what they want I have a lot of them as friends

D corrupt polticians both republicans and democrats prefer hillary to Trump that is why the people wants Trump as POTUS

Compare that with Hillary who spent 8years in Congress and sponsored 9 different legislation that has touched on most of the issues he campaigns with today, most importantly getting New York's business sphere running after 9/11.
And this is the person that is giving her a hard time in the primaries. A lazy old fragile granda socialist. Then how do you think she can defeat Trump?.

Trump and bernie has nothing in common except maybe they are seen as outsiders. Trump has actually achieved something in life while crooked hillary and bernie have been feeding off Taxpayers all their life.

As high as the distrust for Hillary goes is also how much America trusts her above every other candidate that has surfaced in either parties running for the Presidency.

Make no mistake, there's no vacancy for the GOP in the Oval.White House is strictly recruiting a Democrat and that person is HRC.The earlier you see that the better.

Those who don't trust her are Millennials who only know her by her time as Secretary of State. All they hold are Benghazi and Wall Street paid speeches' against thirty years of dedicated public service.

No she doesn't have different speeches for different crowds.Since her campaign she has pushed a platform with one message-”Fighting for all Americans”.Diversity requires bringing everyone in on that message which means African Americans won't get same speech as Latinos, college students won't hear same speech as working class women,LGBT community won't be told the same thing as white men.
Actually it is not only the millennials that d not trust her. It cuts across all ages and races, you will be surprised by the level of distrust the electorate has towards her.
